I highly recommend Paradise Optical Hawaii. The owner Darrell knows the products he sells in his shop well, and it is clear he cares about the relationships he has with customers and vendors. The customer service from him and his staff was excellent -- well above average. A wide selection of brands and prices of glasses and sunglasses is available at this shop in Waimalu. I went in knowing what brand and style of glasses I wanted, but I enjoyed checking out other options before I made my final decision. Darrell and his wife were helpful as I tried on different pairs and made a decision. He recommended Zeiss lenses, and I am so glad I went with them. I haven't had a better pair of glasses in years.

I was a bit leery about buying prescription glasses online since I specifically wanted Porsche Design. Then I discovered that Paradise Optical Hawaii was the only place that offered Porsche Design and Randolph Engineering in the entire State! I then visited Darrell and his wonderful staff in Waimalu. I was able to get exactly what I wanted, including the color of my Porsche Design frame (same color as my cars) and Randolph Engineering Aviators with Zeiss mirror lenses. Paradise Optical Hawaii is a 5 star plus company in my opinion, with great service, knowledge of products and overall display of excellence. Happy 50th Anniversary to this fine company and their family history as well.
