From the moment I walked in the door I was treated expeditiously, and the customer service was fantastic! We were told the glasses would be ready in 2 days. A week had already passed and still no calls. So we went to the store and they said, just come back in 30 minutes. So we came back later and picked up wifey's glasses. We ordered a transition treatment for the lens. A day later my wife noticed her lens doesn't have the treatment. So she came back and told them about the situation. Now, we don't know how long it will take them to order the right lens!!! I would stay away from this place! Don't give them your hard earned money!

I have to give a three star rating because Dr K is a very good Optometrist; however, his front end staff are a little less than engaged, at least with me. I got glasses from them after moving from MyEyeDr (Dr. Murphy only works in Macon now or I'd still be there), anyway my glasses were never right, the tech that I dealt with never used a pupilometer to line my vision field up in the lens so it was constantly off to the point where I was getting very bad headaches, Even after asking why they weren't using the tools provided I was told that it was relatively simple to line them up if I'd keep my eyes still, which I did. Finally after scheduling and rescheduling my appointment, three times because each time I would show up I would have to wait almost an hour after my appointment time, I left on the third occasion and won't return. Like I said, Dr. K was very good and no one was outwardly rude or unkind, but when you can't get the simple things right like appointment times and vision field alignment it is time to go somewhere else. Response to Owner: Since there is no where to respond to your comment I will do it here. First I changed my rating to two stars because you defend poor workmanship; additionally, it might be of note to you that I received a call from your office on Wednesday 6 March @ approx. 2:30PM confirming my appointment for 4PM on Friday 8 March. For you to insinuate that I would be rude enough to show up 45 minutes ahead of time and expect to be seen in front of others with existing appointments is Ludacris and insulting; Please don't ask anyone to contact me about anything, after seeing another optometrist I found that my prescription should have never been put in the frames that I have, they are too large and it expands the field too much and is difficult at best to dial in, I ask that question about these frames when I chose them at your place and was told that there would be no problem with them and my prescription. Again, a failure on you technicians part. I see that you have many excellent ratings on your review board, sorry I couldn't be one of them, your office came highly recommended and I was expecting better.

Went in the Brown's Eye Center today,and had such an great exprience. Went to pick up my sunglasses, and while being they we being adjusted the lens were cracked in the process. The technican, and I thought the we would have to re-order my lens, but Mike came to the rescue. I will be able to pick up my sunglasses today after work. This was my second time getting my glasses here after moving from Indiana and I had a 5 STAR experience both times! The entire staff was fantastic! The eye doctor was really good too! The young lady that helped me pick out my glasses was very friendly and helpful! I could not have been more pleased with my experience! They actually ordered two different pairs of glasses and let me pick the one I liked best. They excel at the details and all the little things that make you want to come back once per year.

Brown's Eye Center at 1112 Russell Pkwy is the best place in Warner Robins to go for all your eye care. Their selection is the best in town. I just purchased a very nice pair of Maui Jim sunglasses, also, they have all the name brands you could possibly want from Costa Del mar, to Oakley, Michael Kors, etc. The Staff is always friendly, and the owner is on site. I fully recommend using Brown's Eye Center.

Just wanted to take the time to say thank you to the entire staff at Brown's Eye Center, Russell Pkwy, WR., GA., for their Above and Beyond Customer Service! We had all five family members in for exams and new contacts/glasses. This was the first time for our 13 yr old son to try contacts and for me, first time with progressive lenses, and a wife and 8 and 10 yr old who tried on numerous styles requiring a lot of time and patience, and you all made it fun! Of our own accord, we took numerous follow on visits, trying out different types of lenses and frames to get the style and function just right. Not once did any of the staff ever make us feel anything less than welcome, and always had smiles on their faces when we arrived back, It took numerous visits over a one month period, primarily due to me trying every possible scenario to get the right progressive lenses, and in the end I could not adjust, and they never made me feel like I burdened when I requested that I stay with single vision, and they gladly changed them back all to make me completely satisfied. A special thanks to Dr. Doug Anania, Dr. Navid Khoshooee, and Technicians, Marissa Cardin and Kirsten Carrol who made all the trips back welcoming, fun and most importantly, successful that all five family members are ecstatic about their cool new eye wear! Finally thank you for supporting our Military Men and Women and their families! Have a Blessed Day!

Oh my I can not say enough amazing things about the Brown Eye Center! First Rhonda and Hanna who will greet with such joy and kindness when you enter and help you with every need is just such a fantastic thing to experience! The gentalman who is the doctor just puts you at easy with his professionalism and relaxing mannerism. The excellent selection of frames and lenses available you will find will fit any budget! EVERYONE including those whose names I can not remember were just so kind to me and very helpful. If you follow my reviews, you'll know that I don't give high rankings to average shops. That's what this is. Your average shop. Sure, they have a large selection. Yes, they have an adequate staff. But their prices are a bit above 'large' and 'adequate'. Thinking about it, it may even be a bit below average. When I was there, the 'adequate' staff had two girls more interested in their nails and hair than a conversation. Even when the person I was speaking with pulled them into the conversation, it was still very 'disconnected' when they spoke. I expect they will be around for a while, because they aren't bad. They just aren't exceptional in any way. At all.

Worse eye exam ever. The doctor was so fast I don't even think he saw I had two eyes. I tried to tell him I could not see anything out of the left eye he said well read what you can. What I was trying to say was he didn't have my eye lined up to your chart so I saw a blank wall. He told me my vision has not changed at all yet the girl said I had a new prescription she was wearing glasses and I think she needed a new prescription. She also said oh I made another mistake he wanted you to have an appointment in 4 months not 3 months for my high pressure in my eyes that I've had for years again I think she needed a new prescription. Then though our insurance said we only needed to pay $10 for the visit she tried to charge us an additional $25 for something she couldn't explain to me what it is she kept saying did you have the visual screen in there I'm like lady all I know is a visit supposed to cost $10 for office visit and $25 for glasses. Please dr. Simmons come back to Warner Robins from Macon we miss you. Both Bill and I do. After speaking with Marissa I changed my review from a one-star to a five. They do really care about their customers and she is handled or is handling all of my concerns. We hope that this will be a 13 + year relationship! Thanks Marissa

This is the first time I have ever posted a review on any type of business, but I just have to say my expectations of Brown's Eye Center were very high when I read so many great reviews, unfortunately my experience was awful from the moment I walked in the door. When I first arrived, the front desk had a few women surrounding it talking very loud to the Optometrist, I thought these were customers but it turns out, one of the women was the significant other of Douglas Anania (the Optometrist). I over heard them while they were chatting as I was waiting to be seen....by him! Once they eventually stopped talking about his clothes being "winter clothes in this hot weather" I was called back. Once in the office, I started doing a vision exam of letters at a far distance and was cut off by Mr. Anania when I tried to tell him that I saw a glare on the picture I was looking at in the machine, but it was clear to read...he exclaimed "that isn't what I asked you to tell me, I just want to know if the letters are clear"....well, that test ended and he then shined a light in my eyes and told me I have an astigmatism and it gets worse at night (my biggest concern making the appointment was night driving and squinting when reading up close). While I wait for him to do another exam of some letters up close (one of my main issues), or something other than we had done, he tells me my prescription and says glasses might help at night but probably not because I have blue eyes and an astigmatism...since when does having blue eyes effect your vision? Anyway...I would never recommend this place to anyone from my own experience. I guess next time I will do a little more research.

Last December, I went for an eye exam at Brown's. I described my increasing vision symptoms to the provider. He summarily dismissed my concerns. He ordered a new prescription for my glasses. The prescription totally failed and I had to resort to my old prescription. Evidently the provider significantly changed the axis to compensate for my reported vision problem. The change was a complete failure. I returned to my previous provider 2 weeks ago. The provider seemed taken aback by the prescription change. Doing a thorough work-up, he found a serious retinal disorder, one that is characterized by the symptoms I shared with the Brown's Eye Center provider. It was further validated today. My prescription has been corrected, I have new glasses at a much more reasonable price, with much improved vision and a referral to the retinal specialists. Follow-Up 9/5/19 - The management of Browns called me in regard to this evaluation. They showed great interest in the exact nature of the shortcomings of my December 2018 appointment and results. They extended sincere and appropriate concern for my retinal disorder. Though I stand by my original rating, there is increased credibility of the management who reached out.
