Dave Sharon is a first class optician. The services both he and his daughter provide are excellent! I had searched around for some time for an optical service that would provide the type of high-definition glasses that I thought I wanted. Most opticians in the area don;t seem to know a lot about these newer lenses and only told me they could get them if I wanted them. I'd had a lot of problems with that approach in the past and ended up with glasses which were not very useful to me. Dave spent considerable time with me explain the types of HD lenses and options available, then helped me to select the best choice for me based upon the criteria I outlined to him. The result was perfect. I picked up my glasses and after a few adjustments, I had glasses that were perfect the first time. I did not have to return to him for constant replacements of lenses that were either not measured or not made correctly. I have been very impressed with both the glasses I purchased at The Optical Shoppe and the kind and courteous service. This is a professional provider from whom other eyewear providers should take lessons. I went back 2 weeks later to purchase my sunglasses. HD lenses again, and again perfect manufacture and fit the first time. I highly recommend The Optical Shoppe to anyone looking for great hassle-free eyewear and service.

They can help you pick out frames and are good at adjusting them to fit your head. If your frames don't fit quite right, they'll adjust them for free later. Their advice for keeping glasses clean is also helpful. I've been going to them for years now for a reason!

Jamie is very honest and has a good sense of fashion regarding what looks good and fits well. This is one of the best places for an eye exam and glasses. The doctor is very good and helpful. The selection of frames is amazing. The woman who helps you with frames is the best in the business. She was very good at helping me select the perfect frames for me. The measuring of your face to order frames that are going to fit is just like the computer you see on TV, very modern and up-to-date. The man who does this part of it is extremely helpful in a friendly/professional manner. When they came in he adjusted them to my face and taught me how to use my new trifocals. I have been going here for a few years and will never go anywhere else. Easy access, lots of parking, and the best people working for you.

Price was way out of line with what other eyewear shops in the area have quoted me for the same class of lens and frame. Employee was quite rude when I politely mentioned this (interrupted me in mid-word to say "alright, later" and literally wave me toward the door). Even if they dropped prices by 50% I wouldn't be interested in going back here to be dealt with that way again.
