It was the Memorial Day weekend and I needed to use my eye insurance by May 31. I called Pearle Vision in Norwalk and they were completely booked. However, Tamika, called around to two local Pearle Visions and got me an appointment. She went above and beyond the call of duty. Pearle Vision Norwalk has a customer for life because of your outstanding customer service.

I called on Presidents’ Day to see if I could come in to have an eye test and the lady told me that I had to make and appointment (completely valid) but then hung up on me, didn’t even ask if I wanted to make an appointment. I called back immediately and said I wanted to make an appointment and made for the upcoming Saturday and when I go in for my appointment turns out the lady never scheduled and was not able to get my eye test done.

Questions frequently arise regarding prescriptions, frames, lenses, features, styles, maintenance, insurance and payment, and my concerns are always addressed in a pleasant and courteous manner. I always learn something new that helps me improve my vision correction experience. The service that this Pearle Vision provides is exceptional, and I rate it five pearls!

My initial experience was decent. As a person having to wear glasses for the first time, the professional and courteous sales person took time with me to help select a pair of glasses that look good on me, as well as explain the options available. No complaint about this person. However, after 1 year and 4 months, due to a manufacturing defect, the glasses fell apart. I asked if they would fix the glasses and I was quoted $100 because it was 4 months after warranty. Simply put, the quality of the frames they sell are garbage and that is likely why they won't warranty it for more than 1 year or fix something that broke due to manufacturer defect. My glasses just slid off of my face while I was driving. As a new customer and a person new to wearing glasses, it would have been in their best interest to just have the glasses fixed for me and take the issue up with their manufacturer. Considering their mark-ups, it makes no sense to lose a new customer over an issue like this. I can't afford to buy new frames if they are going to break every year and a half due to poor manufacturing.
