Vision Eyeland is by far the best eye care place I have ever been to. The people working there are tremendous; kind and supportive and ready to help anyone. I started going to Vision Eyeland because my husband went there. My glasses were bent and he told me to stop in there and get them straightened. I told him I did not get them there; he said no difference, they will help you ---- AND THEY DID!!! I go to them now all the time. Wonderful place of business.

I went to Vision Eyeland for a basic vision exam, thinking that I finally may need my first pair of glasses. While my eyes were actively dilating, I was ushered into the front to choose out my new frames for bifocals without being told what my exact prescription was. When I asked how bad my eyes were, the employee said, "Not too bad." I am so glad that I decided to think about it rather than pay $300-400 for frames and lenses. Once I left and could actually read the prescription, I saw that it was only +0.25! I really didn't need glasses at all.

My insurance company advised me not to use them since they charged me with $60 in shipping fees for warranty repairs that aren't customary. When I asked the office manager about it, she was outrageously rude. Take your business elsewhere.

This place makes you feel like your needs are being meant not with just the atmosphere, but also with the pricing, I need to always bargain shop, with my work glasses and prescription frames being purchased here. I had been going to Vision Eyeland for years, and they were always great. They were professional, and always made expectations that were always met, if not exceeded. They moved over to being Poudre Valley Eyecare before my last appointment and I wasn't ever notified. When I went to make my appointment, they weren't very good at explaining that they no longer sold glasses and what the process was to get new glasses. I had placed an order for contacts that I was told would be available to me before my insurance had expired, but they were unable to get me my contact before it had expired. After calling them and asking about it, they said I was lied to by their own staff and doctor about the time it would take get my contacts in. I am not sure if this is because of the new management, but it's disappointing to see the changes.

He offered advice on lens shapes, frames, etc. and made me feel very confident with my decision. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here even if only for the quality of service.

***update*** Spoke with younger Dr. T and was told the issues I mentioned are being taken care of the other doctor, who made these mistakes, is retiring and these issues should no longer be. Was impressed they took time to call and not just air it out on Google. Get a second opinion!! Took my kid there from age 2 1/2 to 5 1/2 and also the other 2 kids twice. The youngest got 2 new pairs of glasses every 3 months, total 26 pairs. Kid needs eye surgery not glasses...found out in 1 visit with different doctor. Other 2 kids don't need the glasses they charged for either! Insurance fraud at its finest.

I love that Poudre Valley Eyecare is now focused only on patient care and the facility have been updated with new technology. I did get glasses from Eyemart and they were the same great quality that I have come to expect! Highly recommend both of these businesses.

The opticians and DOs are fine, but the service for me was terrible. The new lenses came to the office and no one called me to tell me, for 9 days, until I finally went to the office to check on them. That's bad customer service.

I have been going to Vision Eyeland since I started needing contacts/glasses. I went back recently and had multiple issues with the the front desk staff. There was an issue when I was paying where the lady didn't put my card in the correct way, understandable, but she was visibly unhappy when I asked her to try again. I booked my appointment because I was out of contacts and needed to check and see if my prescription needed updated. It has been over 2 weeks and I still have not received new contacts. I called and was told that they shipped on multiple different days. I am frustrated I don't have contacts, but understand that is not on Poudre Valley Eye Care. However the receptionist, Alayna, was rude when I asked about an update. I don't think it is an unreasonable request to ask for more details since I was told shipping would take 2-5 days. I do think it is unreasonable to be rude on multiple accords. (In person and on the phone.) I love my doctor, but I am sure that I can find another place with a more welcoming staff.

I had a great experience with Vision Eyeland. The Exam was much more in depth then other places I had been too and Dr. Eric really took the time to get to know me and what I needed as far as sight was concerned. Then after I was through with the doctor I was seated with a frame stylist that helped me actually understand everything about my glasses. I loved how everything was customized to fit my life and what I needed. I never knew there was so many options on glasses till I went to Vision Eyeland. You can really tell that they actually care.

If I could give them no stars I would. I went into Vision Eyeland to get a prescription for contacts. I have great distance vision but I need readers to see fine print. I heard about contacts that allowed you to read so I went in for a contact lens fitting and received a prescription that I could not see out of. I felt that if I drove I would be a danger to others on the road. I went back in and shared that I could not see out of these lens and the doctor told me to use only one lens in my eye and use the other for distance. I had headaches doing this so I took the contacts out and went back to using readers for my close up vision. I left on a long trip and when I got back I went in to get the problem corrected and was told that I was past the three month recheck and needed a new exam. After great debate I got a contact that had no distance correction and gave me the ability to read. I have had problems with the staff and communication around the policies on contacts and glasses. I have changed to Carbon Valley Eye Care and could not be happier. I will not rescind my review, I have been a patient of yours and you CAN look me up under the name of Sandy Ornberg and than apologize to me in another post. Your response to me is just another reason that people need to be wary...

What a great experience for our kiddo's first glasses! The team took extra time to discuss our options with our insurance and spoke to our son professionally while teaching him the 'rules' of being responsible for glasses. We shopped at a few places in the area and Vision Eyeland by far had better customer service. Thank you!

I've been going to Vision Eyeland since I moved here almost 20 years ago. I have one eye with a corneal scar which is very difficult to fit and they have always been able to have me see well enough to pass my driver's test. They also alerted me to possible glaucoma, which had not been diagnosed by an ophthalmologist I had just seen about my vision problem. I agree with one of the other reviewers that sometimes the front desk personnel lack polish, but the superb eye care is worth any little glitches with customer service. The prices on contacts are very good as well.

2018 has been quite the year for my eyes. Eye injury and then eye infection then moving to contacts. Eric was AMAZING with my eye injury and helping get through such a scary & painful time. Discovered Vision Eyeland Super Optical which is close to our new home and went to them for an eye exam and replacement lens. I was pleased that their optometrist picked up a problem for the first time that I expect always existed but no previous exam by others ever noticed it (correctable with proper lenses). I was also pleased with the care and time taken to properly fit me with progressive lens. Vision Eyeland provided an excellent overall service and our family will use them from now on. They get a five star rating from me.

The entire staff at Vision Eyeland is friendly, capable and very helpful. I have received care here since 1999, my experiences are always positive. I can walk in with bent rims or lost screw and they fix my glasses promptly with no charge. There is no pressure to get new lenses when an exam shows little change in vision. I couldn't ask for more. She answers my questions in a way I can understand and listens to my perspective regarding symptoms and natural care when possible. Dr. Etheridge is an outstanding healthcare provider. It's never too late

Dr. Eric is wonderful! I've had erosion issues with the cell layers on my eyes and consistent dryness, I am doing great now! My son appreciates his attention to detail. The office staff is great, and do their best to meet the all consuming different requests of each and every patient, the office staff are multi tasking each moment. I feel they do a super job. Love this office!

Got pink eye the day after I went here... they did eventually give me a prescription for eye drops (after I pestered them over the phone), but they weren't going to let me come back in to until the following week rather than right away (because there was no room in their schedule) AND they denied the connection between my visit and the eye infection... They did not make me pay for the follow up visits, probably in hopes that I would not share this experience... Go somewhere else.

Never pressure to get new frames of lenses if not needed. Adjustments and new nose pads when needed with no hassle or charge.

Went here in February and saw Dr Christine shukis . she did a horrible job. Got my prescription wrong by over 2 points and said I have an astigmatism. I'm so glad I didn't buy contacts from them. Doctors are great but they have a hard time with their glasses service. Twice they lost my clamp on sunglasses. They blame the lab, so they have to reorder them. Why don't you check the order returned from the lab for completeness before you call the customer, so they don't have to come in for second or third time in my case? I will give Costco a try next time.
