The customer Service at Aspen Eyewear is beyond compare. I was new to reading glasses and didn't know exactly what I needed. They help me sort through finding the right lenses for my needs. When I initially chose the wrong ones, they worked with me to get me in the right pair of lenses at no additional charge. I had an eye exam with Dr. Michael Bollenbacher who is as friendly as he is knowledgeable. Laurie helped me through the whole process and is a delight. The price tag may be a bit higher than chain optical shops, but the service is priceless.

I purposely picked this store for new frames based on previous reviews and, I was impressed with how knowledgeable and friendly staff was! Not only did I purchase new frames for $30 (sales clerk appointed me to the sale table) but I now have a place to go for vision tests, lens prescriptions and frame repair work. In praise of how satisfied I was with my visit, the sales clerk gave me a 20% next order coupon, Aspen Eyewear is now my new favorite spot for eyeglass wear. Thank you for making me feel welcome.

I had just bought new glasses maybe a week ago, and was very excited as I hadnt had vision insurance in probably 5 years. Needless to say when I broke my brand new glasses, I was beyond devastated. I love this place - it is beautiful inside, has an amazing variety of frames, and the professionals there make sure you have what you need and that the fit is perfect. I also want to say that while I was there, several non-customers came in with questions and needed adjustments, and they provided them with what was needed in a kind and friendly manner. I recently bought a paid of sunglasses from AE. Stupid me - I realized when I got home they weren't polarized. I called back and the team at AE were happy and helpful enough to order me polarized lenses to put into the frame. Simple enough...just an additional $80 - reasonable. Long story short, when I began wearing the new sunglasses, they fogged up on me. I didn't realize that they sat too close on my face and there wasn't enough air circulation. Unfortunately the AE team wasn't able to correct the frame - yet instead told me to pick out another frame. Despite the experience being a mild pain, they were helpful the whole way.

I have been going to Aspen Eyewear for close to 20 years. I *love* this place! Ask for Laurie if you can...she's helped me several times and has helped me pick out some wonderful sunglasses that I've loved for years. When I discovered years ago that Ray-Ban started making many of their sunglasses in China, I stopped buying them. Laurie helped me pick out some nice alternatives from Bollé and Lightec, and these are made in either Italy or France. If you're going to spend $200 on sunglasses, they'd better be made somewhere other than China. Every time I go into Aspen Eyewear, I get treated well by everyone and there's never any pressure to purchase anything...it's a very relaxed atmosphere. One more thing...they always recommend products that look good on you, regardless of the price. Their only interest is excellent customer service and keeping people happy.

For not filling a prescription! PAM ROCKS! After taking a new Rx for glasses to Aspen, Pam checked my previous prescription of 16 months ago and noted a substantial change. After testing with comparable lenses without improvement she suggested I return to the doctor office for a Rx check. I did and SURPRISE - or not - they had really messed up! The most extraodinary customer service, great selections of glasses, knowledgeable and helpful staff. I bought many pairs of glasses from Aspen Eyewear while I lived in Boulder. They have the most unique selection of frames and their staff can help you find what compliments your features and expresses your personal style. However, it is their customer service that makes them remarkable. I moved away four years ago. Yet, when the earpieces of an old pair of glasses broke off (the frame design was long ago discontinued), they found some replacements revived them. Frames are so expensive these days, so I really appreciated their help.

I’ve visited all glasses shops in town over the past year, and found that aspen eyewear is the most helpful. They are as capable as any shop I’ve ever visited. Plus they have a notably large selection. They will even order in a frame just for you to look at. They aren’t as boutique as Toms, but aren’t as expensive either. And they really do want to help YOU. They even down-sold me into a fantastic pair of quality glasses that I enjoy as much as the pair from Oliver peoples that I gravitated toward and would have willingly spent 3.5x the price I wound up paying.

I stepped on my sunglasses a few days ago and I called Aspen Eyewear this morning and they told me to come in to get them fixed. I walked in, was helped immediately, and they fixed my glasses for me free of charge in less than ten minutes. I have been a customer of Aspen Eyewear for more than 25 years. I recently came in with a pair of glasses with one of the temples broken and the other one showing a crack. The glasses were no longer under warranty and the temples were no longer available from the manufacturer. They found a pair of temples that fit and looked great and immediately replaced the old ones.
