Very good optical store, really great selection of frames. I have been wearing glasses for over 20 years and its always a deal to select the right frame. This place has thousands of frames, more options than any other place I have seen and selections are fantastic, some brands you probably will not find anywhere else, you can even find wood frames. They offer inhouse lenses as well, so you save on the typical 3rd party charge that typical Dr. office will charge you. Bad: they don't take vision insurances...but if you are in the market for an amazing frame and great quality lenses you will not need to go any other place. Just get your exam elsewhere and use GoodSee for everything else.

I have literally shopped at Goodsee for years for Oakley and Zippo's and the owner and staff are always friendly, always knowledgable and their stock is always fresh. I don't live in L.A. Anymore but I miss my weekly stops at the store just to see what they got in new or to just say hi to Riz and his family/Staff.

TIL - lost a few hundred dollars to dishonest and untrustworthy people. On the bright side, my scuba trip was ruined! Thanks, Alex! Before we begin, most if not all of the "so-called" 5-star reviews on this site are fake. If you fill out a 5-star review, they will give you an in-store discount.. shame shame shame.. Warning - do not purchase anything from this company if they do not have the item in stock. IE custom glasses, contact lenses, etc. I originally visited this location to purchase contact lenses for an upcoming scuba trip. I was "guaranteed" the lenses would arrive before my trip the following week. Days went by with no follow-up. When I called to check the status, they had no idea when they would arrive (thanks, Alex). I asked if they would ship the lenses to my Airbnb house in the islands which they said yes. Again days went by with zero follow-ups. Now two days into my scuba trip with no lenses they finally arrived at the location in Venice CA, but they refused to ship the lenses next day. Alex said 65 dollars for overnight shipping was too expensive. This is laughably funny as the cost of a decent pair of glasses and contacts cost an easy thousand for designer pairs, (of which I had already purchased). I asked to speak with the owner and never received a callback. This back and forth continued my entire vacation. Eventually, I gave up and asked them just to send me the lenses UPS ground to my home in Santa Monica, as my vacation was already ruined, which Alex said he would. Six weeks went by with no lenses, no calls, no emails, nothing. So I called the bank and disputed the charge. Why would I pay for something that I never received? These con artists had the nerve to lie to my bank saying I would not pay to ship the lenses, so I lost the dispute. Still to this day I do not have the items I paid for. I strongly recommend you avoid this location at all cost; they are dishonest and untrustworthy people.

I was from out of town and I needed a new pair of sunglasses. I headed over to Good See Co as they were a "Flagship Store" for my preferred sunglasses Randolph Engineering. When I got there they were busy, so I puttered around looking at other glasses. Finally when I was able to get someones attention the guy at the register then walked clear to the back to grab someone else to help me (not a problem). The lady helping me didn't know anything about the sunglasses, and instead of saying "I don't know" Tried to bullshit her way through my questions. She also was taping her foot the whole time I was looking at the glasses (trying to find the ones I wanted, as they were kind of jumbled together). As if I was inconveniencing her by spending money. I wanted the glasses for my trip, but I couldn't bring myself to spend money at a place that treated me in person as Comcast does over the phone. I will never return here again.

Good See has delivered, and in a timely fashion, the high-end eyeglasses that imordered. What’s not to like? The price, which I paiid, delivered to my door, was over 1/3 cheaper than my local optometrist.

I was in the area for vacation and lost my corrected sunglasses. The sun was buring down tho, so I went to buy new ones at Good See Co. They professionally showed me around their shop and presented the various options of shadings, lenses, frames etc. to me. An hour later, I walked out, happily wearing the new bling on my nose. Fast forward a few weeks, Im back home and my frames break due to a really unlucky chain of events. I therefor contacted Farasat and asked for replacement frames and shipping (im in Europe, so no small journey for a feble frame). It took a few weeks, but no I've received my 2nd new pair of glasses from Good See Co. and they are top quality!

I bought a pair of Serengeti glasses from the store. It was a very nice experience. Unfortunately I left them in Vegas. I called the store and a gentleman answered and said that he wasn't able to find my purchase but if I sent a picture of me wearing them that his father would be able to identify them. Eyeglasses $750 they didnt last 6 months. (ralph Laurent) unrepeatable, they didnt tell me they were discontinued. they were real.. Even when i brought them back, they didnt even recommend a repair company. After checking,, we found out the glasses they sold us, were " Good knock-offs=counterfeits" for a place that has every brand,, and sooo many types of glasses up to 7-8 employees, ,, you have to wonder why they dont have a repairman on-site.. Because the glasses they sell are unrepeatable. some samples are the real deal,, but use caution.

This is the largest and most amazing glasses store ever! The selection is so extensive with so many well known brands as well as some wonderful new brands to get to know. The staff is very kind and helpful with all of your questions and are actually concerned about getting you what you want in your price range without being pushy at all. I found the brand ICE Berlin and now I will never buy any other frames. The price for this brand is pretty expensive but the design of the non-screw click in hinges is absolutely brilliant! These glasses are actually indestructible. I have had them for 6 months and have slept in them, rolled over them in bed, fallen in the street and then stepped on them over concrete, sat on them, and dropped them multiple times; they still look great! When the lenses got a little scratched I just mailed them the glasses which they replaced and sent back very quickly for just the price of shipping! The frames were picked out and set within an hour or so for a very reasonable price. Although I do not live in LA I will never go to another glasses store again.

Reza is the manager of the greatest glasses shop in Los Angeles. They have everything! Including the patience to help a picky shopper like me find the perfect pair. They've treated me like a valuable customer since I bought my first pair; offering to help with anything if I ever needed it. Esteban tweaked a pair for me just the other day. A literal toys r us for eyewear! Just an overwhelming selection! I visited twice in the last month, once to scout my options, and then again to seal the deal. The first time I was helped by Cesario. "Helped" really is an understatement. Super friendly and knowledgeable, the guy practically held my hand, and stayed by my side as I tried on maybe twenty+ pairs of glasses. (I would've tried them all of I could) He was very honest with his opinion of how he thought each pair looked on me which I appreciated. I came back to finish my transaction with Cesario a month later and eventually met Reza, the owner, who also treated me with the utmost respect. Both times I visited were on Wednesday afternoons, so it wasn't busy. I had a very pleasant experience and highly recommend you visit, if not to buy, then to at least view their tremendous collection which they boast is one of the largest in the world.
