Dr Mitchell is a very competent optometrist, I recommend her. Reason for 3 stars. I called and was given a price for my exam. I have been here before. At the office the price was $40 more and the receptionist didn't even consider honoring what I was quoted.

I went with my wife a couple months back to buy a back up pair of prescription glasses and sunglasses and was pleasantly surprised with the selection, turn around time and quality of the glasses that we received. So much that we had an old frame that she loved and they were able to make lenses for that as well! Not only is this the most affordable place to get glasses but also one of the best places to get EXPERIENCED optical help!

I decided to try the Costco Vision Center after an unsuccessful attempting to buy glasses at one of the so called "discount vision centers". The staff members at Costco were friendly, very helpful and the quality of the glasses was excellent. I have never bee able to wear progressive lenses but the lenses I purchased at Costco are perfect. The prices are good so I ordered three pairs, computer glasses, sun glasses and a pair for general use. In addition, the glasses were ready earlier than promised. You might have to wait a few minutes on a busy day but it is worth the wait.

I can’t say enough about the quality I bought the espirit brand they are so lightweight I don’t know I have them on the lenses are so clear and perfect I feel like I was blind and know I can see . No glasses from anywhere else compared the price was great and quality is outstanding!!

Being far away on the island, I needed someone close by the store to pick up contacts for me. I quickly learned that this is impossible because they didn’t have the Costco card for me. I called Costco and they failed to give me a decent answer as to why they couldn’t make something simple happen. Bad service.

AWESOME experience with Dr. Jansen and his very professional front desk lady. I was in town for a conference and my old contact lens prescription had expired. I was seen on walk-in basis by Dr. Jansen. It was the best money I have ever spent on an eye exam. He is absolutely excellent and efficient and the best kind of optometrist. He set me up with everything I needed. I would absolutely go back to him again in a heartbeat and recommend his office without reservation. I think he is the best in New Orleans. Very possibly the best in Louisiana.

Rude male optician told me he didn't have time to explain difference between contacts I was supposed to buy, I paid $ 155.00 for 10 min consultation and he is not even a doctor.

I had my 2 kids purchase glasses and contact lenses. The experience was very pleasant. In fact for one of the kids, his lenses were not as good as the samples and so we took them back and we got new boxes without any additional costs. I will go there again.

This optometrist checked my husbands eyes, wrote him a Rx and we bought his glasses. He could't see much better. Went to a real Eye Doctor's Office and found out he is in dire need of cataracts surgery. CATARACTS AND THEY DIDN'T SAY A WORD!

The Costco Vision Center is located inside the main entrance of Costco to the right of the main entrance. Friendly staff and wide selection of frames and lens options. My wife paid about half of what she was quoted at her eye doctor. I use them for contact lenses. They were the least expensive place that I could find on line or at a brick and mortar store by over $100.00 for a 1 year supply. I highly recommend them for contact lenses and glasses.

You have a large number of customers, but your selection of frames is one of the smallest compared to other shops. You need to satisfy the needs of your customers by stocking more selection and quantity. Many times I have had to settle for my 2nd or 3rd choice. Your customers and profit will only increase with better selection.

I used to love this place. Dr. Mitchell does a great job and is quite conscientious with her work. The employees where I order my glasses over the years have done fine work. The only problem I have ever had is that the lenses scratch easily, until recently that has not been a problem as I could replace the lenses at no cost for one year. Now the policy has changed to 3 months. So now I have to pay over $100 to replace my lesses. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
