Had a good experience with the doctors office. They squeezed us in when my son broke his glasses. However, the 3 ladies working where you pick your glasses were horrible. I had to announce myself because all 3 had their cell phones out and were ignoring everything. I was the only customer and one rudely said look at those 3 racks ....then went back to playing on her phone. My son knows what he likes and picked a pair pretty quickly. All three were still playing on their phones. Again I had to drag one of them away from her phone to ring us up. Won't bother going back there again.

Awesome customer service & the selection of frames & the prices make Costco better than any other place I’ve went to. I see some negative comments & I’ve never had this problem. Sometimes the problem is not treating people the way you want to be treated.

One word for this place OK. Dr was good and did decent job to test and write prescription. They don’t have lot of options but are much affordable compared to places like Eye Q.

Costco optical department sucks big time. I had a doctor appointment couple of weeks ago at the optical department. First the doctor office does not answer phone calls and not even return your phone calls. The old lady working at the doctors office does not bother taking your calls. I got my trial prescription from the doctor office.l and had a great time testing with the trial lenses. I was told I can order the contact lenses after I test these. Usually Costco in Michigan accepts orders through phone. This Costco wanted me to come to the Costco and order. So I went to the Costco optical department to order, the old lady says that we SHREDDED your prescription and I have to get a new prescription again from doctors office. I asked who gave permission to shred my prescription, she says as an optician I am allowed to do it. Doctors office is not open on Tuesday’s and this whole thing about Costco optical is a bloody nightmare process. Help these guys to make better customer service, they just a customer for more than 10 years. Not going back there again.

The optometrist was wonderful... However the sales lady seemed irritated. Not helpful at all... actually she insisted on me purchasing a pair of glasses that I did not want. When I came back to return them... She practically yelled at me for it. I kept them... Will never return to the optical department for glasses again.

Great service with very experienced staff. Everyone was courteous and kind, and helped me pick out glasses that looked great! When they came in earlier than I was promised, I was surprised at how amazing the whole world looked! I recommend looking elsewhere for your eye care needs. I have typically had great experiences at other Costco branches. After failing to call me when my trial contacts arrived, they wanted to charge me an extra fee to reschedule my exam. Now they want to charge me to repeat my entire contact lens exam because I waited a year to return. They offered no compromise or options or suggestions. Also, the optometrist was disheveled looking during my appointment, not the level of professionalism I would expect.

The employee there was very rude. I had picked a number but realized the only copy of my Rx I had was electronic. It was very busy so I didn't want to wait the whole time just to be told the electronic copy was not sufficient. So I asked him if I could ask a quick question, he ignores me. I asked again, louder and he rudely said, what is the question... After I told him that I only had the electronic, he said that won't work, then walked away. It was the holiday season, I know he was busy, but should really treat people better, I will not go back to optical.

Called Costco Optical. The person who answered the phone mumbled, had to ask to repeat what she said multiple times. She did not seem very enthused to have me as a customer. I will look somewhere else.
