The doctor was very nice; however the staff lock compassion and care for clients. I think it was rude that they were having personal conversations while I sat there needing to be helped and had questions. They rush you and again no sense of care.

This crew is a bunch of fools. From the Dr all the way to to rude ass clerks. They think they are all better than anyone else. They are a bunch of degenerative idiots. I had to wait over a month for contacts while they were giving me "trial pairs" This place provided the WORST customer experience I have ever had. Especially the little Mexican girl working behind the counter that argued with me. I hate this location. Just go in and I promise you will see what I mean. A bunch of losers that think they are special. Sad thing is more and more companies are forgetting how important customer service is. But this starts at the top. I will be moving my prescription to the Colorado Blvd location, where they are on point. Aurora and this place SUX! Look at all the one star reviews and the desperate cries from them. Lol. Really. Try to be proactive people. Wow

The worst service there ever is. The customer service staff is inefficient with nonchalant attitudes displayed all around. I came in over a week ago, they claimed the system had an issue and so they will call me once sorted. The Male agent helping me was loudly threatening to quit if he doesn't have help..... even if there are issues at work, sort it out with your management not spit it out in the faces of your customers. #veryunprofessional. 8 days later, no calls. So I went in again. Now, they couldn't find me on their system. What's worst, they will ask for all you personal information right in the open hall where anyone can overhear and steal your information. #veryunprofessional. Then I paid out of pocket and as soon as I left, I called my insurance and they got in touch with them. Now I need to be refunded, but they claim that the refund has to be done in person. I paid with a card, so it should be as simple as refunding it to that same card information. I have been coming here for the last 7years but this will be my last time here. Hopefully my glasses don't take forever to get to me.

I just left America's Best, went to order my new set of prescription glasses. I had already chosen my frame it was a matter to get someone to take care of me. I was greeted, but waited for 30 minutes and there was no one available....I guess I will get those COACH frames somewhere else. Sorry.....

The girl I spoke to was RUDE and had a real bad attitude when talking with me. She acted like she was pissy because I asked for my prescription for my glasses. Once I go get my records today I won't be back, to the girl who answered the phone and talked with me that day.. If dealing with people bothers you that much find a new job.

Best employees: EDWIN, always there, great attitude, will do his best to make sure you leave satisfied. DANIEL, fixed my new glasses to perfection. He knows his stuff. MARIA, took care of my order for contacts when a different company messed it up. SHAWN, I assume he is the store manager, Interacting with employees and customers like it was second nature. Employees look very comfortable working with/for Shawn. You can see it in everyones actions and faces. As long as these people are here, you will have a great experience. Thanks guys

Had to wait about 30 mins after my appointment to actually see the doctor. They were pretty busy at the time so I didn't mind. Everything is rushed. I was only actually with the doctor for 5 mins. He was nice but didn't try to talk much or didn't really seem evaluate the health of my eyes. I've had contacts and glasses for over 15 years so I didn't mind the quick in and out but you sure do feel a little like cattle. You do get good deals but not great service so you get what you pay for.

This was the worst experience ever! What ever happened to customer service? After purchasing eyeglasses for myself a couple of months ago, they still do not feel comfortable. I visited this store 3 times to be fitted before I just gave up. Then like an idiot, I went back to this same store to purchase eyeglasses for my three teenage sons and they treated my family like we were a total bother to them. Sue, the manager was extremely rude and not very tentative. Sue's actions/customer service skills contributes to the reason some people perceive Aurora, Co. as a bad place.

I wish I didn't have to add to the bad reviews, but my most recent experience has been so awful and time consuming, the corporate office needs to do something about it. I had a very easy eye checkup, looking to get new glasses, and contacts for the first time. Taylor scheduled my contact class, as I have never worn them before so they have a sit down with someone who teaches you how to put them in, etc. Taylor scheduled me for the Monday before I even had my original appointment. So when I came in at 10:30 I was told the woman who does the class wouldn't be in until 12. So I said, sure no worries I'll come back at 12. Got there at the correct time, the woman was late, again not a big deal, it happens. Even though she was only 5 minutes late, I waited until 12:30 to be called back for the "class" that only took 15 minutes. We then scheduled a follow up appointment with the contacts, to be sure they fit I believe. My appointment was at 10:45 and I got there on time. It was fairly crowded in the back when I went to wait after checking in at the front desk. I waited over an hour before I stopped someone to ask if I was going to be seen. The woman was shocked I had been sitting so long and went to the front to ask them what happened. She came back and said the receptionist got very busy and forgot to send my chart back. I then waited another five minutes..... With not one other person waiting with me, to see the doctor. This took less than five minutes. He also apologized for the wait and said it was not okay, etc. I appreciated him saying as much. He then said he'd push my chart to the front so I can order my contacts as quickly as possible. As soon as I waited the same woman who did my contact class asked me to sit at a table and that she'd be right over to help me out. Thirty five minutes later she came back. She almost acted as if she forgot I was waiting.... Which she very well may have as she was doing peoples frame fittings off to the side. She also apologized. At this point though America's Best has taken two hours of my life in waiting time alone. I do hope that either you change how you prioritize walk ins, or make sure your receptionists are ontop of who they check in. I understand you were quite busy that day, but there is no excuse I should be waiting in the back for an hour, with people coming and going, to only have a 4 minute checkup, and then wait another 30 minutes to order my contacts.

This was a great experience, from the moment I walked in I was greeted by Edwin with a smile. He was very helpful in directing me to the back, then I was met by Zully who quickly took my information and did her thing. Met Dr. Sam who was AMAZING and very knowledgeable with exceptional care and service skills. To end the wonderful experience I met with Princess who was very professional, energetic and pleasant to be around. She helped me select the perfect color contacts and then placed the order for me. I would recommended this location.

Avoid this place. No system, not organized.Go other place. Not professional at all... Eye exam took only 5 min where other place takes 20 min minimum. Still paying same amount of money. Horrible experience.

I have been coming here for 2 years the doctor is amazing but staff and customer service to order contacts is horrible. I normally do price match on contacts send advertisement and they adjust price accordingly, today I went to the store personally because I was advised they had the contacts in stock so I thought personally would be even quicker to pay show advertising and walk out boy was I mistaken no lie it took me over 1 hour for the young lady to make me sign in to the advertising company proceed to checkout, email advertising to her, and once she had all info. Proceeded to want to start from step (1) all over again I couldn’t understand why she wanted to start process all over again specially when I looked up price she had my mobile phone in her had verifying everything and wanted me to log in using her desktop to see if she would get the same price all over again!! I just could not believe it! I will also be calling corporate to figure out how they train people to make clients unhappy

very unhappy as i was wearing someone else prescription for a week i felt very uncomfortable so when i go in they had wrong information at no point in time did anyone apologize for the issue or even offer a discount of any sort and now i have to do another eye exam cause i cant see good with even the new prescription so i have to go to another place and pay all over again and i had this done a few months ago

Horrid experience here at Americas Best. After incorrectly referring my insurance as out of network instead of in-network I had a back and forth with them going on for 4 months. Their managers never called back in response to my inquiries and I had to get a hold of their headquarters in order to get a resolution. Do yourself a favor and shop for glasses somewhere else. Nunca tienen citas disponibles y una vez consigues la cita, la optómetra en turno pretende atenderte en menos de 10 minutos...No está pendiente a las letras que lees o no puedes leer, ni tampoco a lo que le quieres dejar saber que te incomoda de tu visión o los cambios que has tenido...Pagué adicional por unos exámenes que no son obligatorios, pero dado a lo crítico de la visión los añadí, el resultado nunca me lo dijo durante examen, me lo dió cuándo estaba haciendo la orden de los espejuelos y lentes de contactos, porqué me dí cuenta que ella sólo me había hecho la receta de espejuelos y pagué por ambas recetas...Es cuándo el vendedor la llama para que arreglara la receta y de una vez le pedí el resultado de los extras de mi visión...Por otro lado, le dices que siempre has usado una marca específica de lentes de contactos, porqué ya la visión es crítica y no existe nada más parecido en el mercado y te receta unos completamente diferentes y de menor calidad, porqué los sientes y se resecan en todo momento y eso nunca lo pasé con la otra marca...En éste momento, lo que me motiva a escribir ésta reseña es el hecho de que nuevamente, después de casi 1 mes (Que llegara la orden de los "Trials", más la semana de prueba), una vez más, no hay citas disponibles para poder decirle que los "Trials" no funcionaron...Lo peor de todo es que sé que me tocará pasar el mismo proceso con los próximos "Trials" que ella me envíe, porqué mi receta y la marca nunca la tienen y ellos no te entregan la receta con las medidas y el aumento antes de los "Trials", sin que la doctora lo autorice...Buena Suerte!!!

I needed an eye exam, I called the branch and she scheduled me pretty quickly. I was surprised to get Saturday availability. I arrived, I waited kinda long and the people who assisted me were very curt and abrupt, but I was in and out in about 45 minutes and paid $45 total for my prescription.

I'm with Americas Best for almost two years and this one in Kissimmee have a horrible customer service. I did my husband appointment (that is a customer too with the 3 years contact lenses exam for free that we paid $100.00) online and gave me a window of a hour to be there. We I arrived 8 minutes later because a huge traffic and the man in front "Edwin" denied to attend us because we were late for few minutes and even that I show him mi email with the appointment window for one hour. Horrible customer service. We will not return to such horrible place with 0% of customer service. Other places (like Walmart) treat you way much better that Americas Best.

Great service from the time I walked in the door for an exam then picking out my frames and then picking them up from the store today! They close at 7 and the entire team it seemed stayed late to serve everyone who was at least inside the doors by 7 one night. I used them because of their ads on tv and am happy I did. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and caring. 10/30/2018 ****im making an edit because they won’t let me give another great review of 5 stars. I had an apt last week for new glasses and they said it would be two weeks. I received an auto call stating they are already there a week early. The service from everyone last week was impeccable. I have been going to this location for 4 years and after my first exam, things were still a little blurry. I told them this and they did a second exam, they insisted that the prescription was right. My passed exams they have told me my vision had stayed the same Today I went to a new optometrist and as soon as I put the new contacts in, there was a huge difference in my vision. My optometrist told me my old prescription was too strong and he was not surprised when I told him I have been going here. For four years I have been wearing the incorrect prescription because the optometrists at America's Best were not competent enough to prescribe the right prescription. There is a reason they have such low prices. Their low prices are not worth not being able to properly see.

We ordered two pairs of glasses for my daughter. they didn't call me when they came in. It was about two weeks when I finally called and of course they were there. Then we went in to get them sized and one pair of glasses was missing a lens. Again, they didn't call me when the lens was in and the glasses were ready. I was not offered any sort of discount or refund to make up for the inconvenience. the price for two glasses and an exam was not a bad deal, but i think i would rather pay a bit more for quality assurance.

Many of the frames were locked up could not try them on. Is this considered a ghetto store by the compnany? Really poor service. I called in to ask to have a copy of my prescription faxed over to an eye optical; one of the receptionists that answered said quote on quote "I can't because of the hipaa thingy" she placed me on hold without telling me she was going to. When someone else answered the call I asked for their name and if I could get transferred to a manager because they were being really rude to me. She kept ignoring me & pretending like she couldn't hear me. She said "let me put you on hold" I was on hold for 8 minutes and when someone finally answered the phone they stayed quiet & when I said "hello?" they hung up on me. I called again, the same girl answered the phone and she kept saying "hello" & told me to call back because she couldn't hear me. I called two more times & was hung up on again. Someone that was improperly trained to help patients over the phone should not be placed in a position to answer calls. This was at the Aurora Location. Very unpleasant. Thomas and Dr. Parr are awesome though. It's the receptionist/whoever answers the phones who need to learn some manners.

My experience with the eye doctor was fine, however, I really did not appreciate the fact that they do not check your insurance until the end of your exam. I believed my insurance would cover everything only to find out AFTER ALL SERVICES had been rendered that they apparently did not accept my insurance leaving me to pay out of pocket. Any other eye doctor I have been to checks your insurance before you are treated. I most definitely would have been going elsewhere if this had come to my attention before I got my exam. Really takes away any illusion of you caring about your customers, America's "Best". Thanks for the trial contacts I guess but I will be taking my business almost anywhere else. That was not okay.

When I went it was very easy, and quick .checked in filled out the paperwork and was immediately called on. Then went to pick out my glasses and showed the girl what I was looking for from the website and she knew exactly .I picked two pairs part of their deal and was told it would take 8-10 business days. I received a phone call that my glasses were in exactly a week later and that did include labor day and Sato and sunday. I am very happy with this place.

No wonder i usually go the Parker store. Look at all the bad reviews and lame responses! After setting appointment times AND calling to confirm we showed up 10 minutes early. My son and I are told they only have an appointment for me but they would take care of it. We fill out paperwork and begin to wait...30 min later I ask why we have waited so long when I have a confirmation email for 30 min ago. The lady says rudely and cluelessly "ohhhh.... I think they are looking for your son's chart now." We left. My time is valuable and when I have an appointment, I'm on time or early, and I expect the same when I'm paying for a service! Completely disrespect for customers!

Worst service ever! I called the store to find out if my glasses were in, well Brenda said she had to look it up in their system, put her hand over the phone and had a conversation with other employees! At least hit the mute button!! Then their systems weren't working because they just opened, and was told i have to wait for the system to reboot while again she covers the phone with her hand and had a conversation! Then tells me the glasses always take 2weeks to come in and the person who told us a week was wrong. Never coming back here, customer service has gone down hill but this is ridiculous!

This location is across from United Artist Theatre and in front of Home Deptot. I've been coming here for a couple years and it's hit or miss with the service. The doctors have been great, it's the help that can be a little rude some times. I come here because it's the cheapest and a convenient location.

When i went to this place, i feel like they want to do only the money with me and i finish paying a lot a money for someting that i am not using. When i try to change my decision, they said that it is gonna cost me the double than that i already pay. I think that a surgery was more helpful than the pair a glasses that i bought in here.

Google should have an option to give a place negative stars, cause they don’t even deserve 1 star. I was 10 min late for my appointment because of a nasty thunder storm. I walked in and the lady in the front says I was 10 min late and punishing me like if I was in grade school. She proceeded to tell me “ Let me ask if the doctor can you see cause you are 10 min late “ like if she was doing me a favor. Please I’m a paying customer and sometimes things like the weather are out of my control making traffic crazy. I got mad and left cause I’m a paying customer. I've been going to Americas Beat for 15 years. I found the Dr. Parr in Aurora several years ago and will never use anyone else. Even when I had Iritis he was soft and cause as little pain as he could. He really knows his stuff and let me know when It was time to see a specialist (my 3rd time with iritis). He's the best and well worth the 40 minute drive from my house!

I recently purchased 2 pair of glasses at your Merchant Walk Lakeland store. At a cost of $700. Upon picking them up I was told they are out of glass cases to protect the new glasses. Luckily I had brought in some old glasses for donation to Lions Club. We had to take back out glass cases to put our new $700. Glasses in. Not acceptable. I previous had purchased all my glasses at America's Best. In NY. State. Never didn't have a nice new case to put them in. Seems like this store needs more training in customer service.

For one they don't push nothing on you. I'm not much of a glasses wearer but was helped my a sweet woman who assisted me in picking frames that were beautiful and I even got contacts as well. I'm hoping I get my glasses soon. Also FYI there the place you wanna go if you don't want to spend an arm and a leg. They have nice designer frames as well!

I read the reviews before going and was a little nervous, but I absolutely was treated with respect and the staff was very pleasant. You will not get a better deal. I like the fact that you can pay $99 and get 3yrs of free exams and also discounted prices on eye contacts and glasses. I walked out of there with one pair of glasses, eye exam, and 3 months of contacts for $273 worth every penny. Yall just got my business! A place I went to for 10yrs was going to charge me $174 just for an eye exam and one pair of contacts for not having insurance.

We made appointments online got there early and and asked if they could work us in early and they did. Dr. was fast we picked out the glasses we wanted and at checkout the GM of the store tried to tell me that there were no discounts that I was getting a pair for $40 and I should be happy and was not happy when I corrected that they were more than that with the cost of eye insurance walked away and didn't bother to finish the transaction

This place got 1 star because there is no option for 0 stars. I regret bringing my family here and after we hopefully receive our order without any more hidden fees, I will take my family anywhere else but here. Too many incorrect things to list and the staff is completely oblivious to what the problem at that time is. If you want to be treated as if you are in a preschool classroom setting then this is the place for you. This was a costly mistake on my part even with insurance. I'm just glad to have learned this lesson now and not later after spending more unnecessary money that they conceal as other things. The managers attitudes are "Oh well" that's not my problem. I was on hold 25 minutes and in that time, spoke to 4 different people. With each new person, I had to explain the situation over and over again. Only took this once to show me that I was not dealing with professionals and I am glad for that because I am now in the process of finding a true professional to take care of my family needs. America's Best will try to sell you packages that are unnecessary and honestly the packages don't really cover anything important. I learned my lesson early and for that I am grateful.

I agree with the bad reviews I've been going here for over 5 years, however doctors seem to always be in a rush. Staff is rude, or unaware of policies. Decided I wouldn't go back when I felt the doctors were money hungry. I was told after being in a brand of contacts (that dried my eyes out like a desert) only after a few days, that the doctor would have to see me again and I would have to pay for another exam to switch out the brand I was in. So therefore, if you're uncomfortable with your contacts after a few days be prepared to pay up for an entire new exam! Go to a real eye doctor. This is more of a commercial place.

This is the worst customer service I have ever had, after calling and making an appointment for an initial fitting for contacts, they let me go in, I waited for 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment and was final called back. They told me I needed another eye exam even though I just had one 3 days prior. They called in (what I think was the Dr.) and reiterated this. I left and went somewhere else and had my contacts within the next couple hours! They also tole me it would cost $100 but I only paid $60 some place else!

(CONTINUED 3/3) March 27th, 2019- This was it. This was the visit to America's Best that pushed me to write this very long review. This was the visit that finally put me over the edge. After a month, I decided I just needed my prescription changed. These glasses just weren't working. I come in and immediately I'm discouraged by the three women behind the counter laughing and texting on their phones. After standing there for about a minute, one of them looks up and asks if I'm being helped. I explain to her that my glasses just aren't the right prescription and need to be adjusted. I show her all of my receipts and the prescription. She takes my glasses rom me and then says" one moment. So I wait and wait and wait. After about 10 minutes of awkwardly standing there while the other two large women behind the counter continue to laugh and text on their phones, I decided to walk around and look at other frames to pass the time. After about 10 more minutes the same woman who helped m the very first time (from Jan. 3d) comes up and asks if I'm being helped. I say: "yes, some woman had taken my glasses and was helping - " Before I can finish, she cuts me off and says: "well, that woman went home. So where are your glasses?" She went home....she went home. Imagine, having gone through all of this disgusting customer service, to come back one last time and the person helping you takes your glasses and then GOES HOME. I start to panic and wonder if she actually STOLE my glasses. The two large woman behind the counter continued laughing and texting on their phones while me and this woman looked frantically for my glasses. After searching for about 2 minutes, the original woman finds them, out of their case, laying on the front desk keyboard with a NOTE that says my prescription is wrong. My blood was boiling at this point. So I explain to her all over again that my prescription is wrong and needs to be adjusted. She takes both of my glasses (the "new" ones, and the ones I had been wearing as a backup pair). After sitting there for about 5 minutes without any glasses (blind) she finally comes back to tell me what I ALREADY KNEW: my prescription is wrong. I ask her if they can change it. Even if it costs a little extra, I just want my glasses so I can start seeing properly. She tells me: no. That I need to go back to the place I got the prescription from, then after that doctor has changed it, bring it back to them, and then they can re-make my glasses. I repeat this all back to her: I need to go back to the original doctor, get a new prescription, then come back, for the fourth time? She stares at me blankly and just says: yes. When I ask how long the glasses will take to get adjusted, she says: 10. Business. Days. I take my glasses, I take the prescription, get up, and start to leave. I tell her that I will go somewhere else, because this has been a nightmare. And, just for the extra cherry on top, as I'm leaving, the two large women behind the counter LAUGH AT ME AS I LEAVE. I could not believe the disgusting customer service displayed by any business, let alone a company who claims to be "America's best". I took my glasses to another company, who are currently remaking them. If you read my entire review, I sincerely thank you. It took a lot of time to write this, but if even ONE person reads this and saves themselves from the incompetence of America's "Best" then it's more than worth it. If anyone of any relevance from America's Best reads this, please know that your store is about as competant as a monkey show at a a backdoor circus. Actually, that's probably not even accurate: at least we know monkeys are intelligent. The ONE AND ONLY remotely positive thing I can say is that Tiffany was a rockstar. She was kind, caring, and apologetic. She was the ONLY person who seemed to give even a small care about helping me as a paying customer. Please, do not go here. Take your hard-earned money and find a place that cares about your time, money, and more importantly- your vision. Thank you for reading this.

I have gone here for several pairs of my glasses over the years and finally got fed up. I'm sure like many people the prices were attractive for the cost of their frames; however the customer service and quality I've received here have been the furthest from great. Every time I've gotten frames here the processed seemed rush. The most frustrating thing for me was every time my glasses came in they never fit my face! Ever! Literally I could not bend over without my glasses falling off. This final time I ordered glasses I came in to pick them up and they did not fit. As I was trying to explain this it just seemed more rush then actually trying to get the frames to fit my face. They always bent the frames by the ears so much to the point they were sticking out. I attempted to get them tightened a second time and stood there for 30 min before I received help just for there to be no difference. I finally decided to find a completely different vision place to get glasses and they were completely blown away with how bad my current glasses were fitting my face. 10 mins at Vision Pearle in the Aurora Mall and my frames have never fit me so great. Same frames I bought from Americas Best and hated! Another vision shop took the time to make sure the frames fit on my nose just right and behind my ears just right! Will never waste my time here again.

Worst eyeglass place ever. I NEVER write reviews but today, I just had to write a review. There is NEVER a time when I leave that place happy. First time, they got my eyeglass/contact prescription wrong. I tried to tell them that, but they wouldn't believe me. Also, what is up with the follow-up that you have to have before being able to buy contacts? NO other place does this. I tried to go back and pick up my prescription so that I could start going to another eye doctor, but of course they can't give it to me because the optometrist is on vacation in Chicago. There are so many other issues, but I'm too mad right now to even begin to try and explain. I wasted so much money here...don't fall for their scam eye checkups/cheap glasses.

This is the best America’s Best! I was able to schedule a late appointment for the next day for my son, which was Saturday. When I arrived we were seen fairly quickly and there was very little wait time. I was so impressed by the organized and speedy service from the staff. The doctors and techs also showed great patience with my son. Alexis was also very professional and helpful when explaining the types of glasses and lenses and was knowlegeable and helpful! I was blown away from this experience and was hesitant because of reviews at other locations, like Buford which is closest to me. I’m so happy I went to this location. Well I went in on a referral from my parents who had went in and had a good experience and my mother told the manager that I needed contacts but I have a special condition and he said they specialize in my condition and could get me my contacts at a great price so I go they give me an exam I see the Dr he ask what I'm doing there ?that they can't help me and the Manger who talked up my parents no longer work there and had no idea what he was talking about so they wasted my time gas and just couldn't help in anyway so if you need synergize lenses don't waste your time here so please head my warning

I never ever had so bad adjusted/custom made glasses :-(... I need my glasses to read, but I realise that there is not the same distance for both of my eyes to my reading object to have a clear vision. (If I cover one eye to get a clear vision and then cover the other I have to move, because there is not the same distance to my reading object. :-(. Very ugly and confusing to read with this glasses. Even the cheap 3$ glasses are better then this 2 pairs. Beside this - the employees should be trained when it comes to customer contact and organisation. All seams a little bit unorganised in this store... Wrong advertisements, glasses couldn't be find (I went to the store after 2 weeks (since I was told I get a call about 7 to 10 days from my appointment (no call received even after 2 weeks)) and they found 1 pair. After total 3 weeks I went back (no call received) and first she couldn't find my glasses, but after searching in books and different places she found them under my first name. (They were probably already there the first time). I'm pretty sure if I would not have taken action I still would wait for my 2 pair of glasses and nobody would care. In addition don't expect anything more at your eye exam then just checking your visual ability (so they can sell you afterwards glasses). My doctor did not even realise the naevus in my eye, which - he said when I asked him about - "ah this - it's just a normal thing".( Which isn't and should be controlled every year to see if it has changed. And even when I didn't expect him to control this at my appointment, he should mention it to see if I'm aware of it). But it looks like there is no interest in the patient/customer health then making money. I'm pretty sure I'm not going back there.

A younger black woman with glasses was helping us and she decided to ask him for his number after just seeing me with him. He kindly said "that's actually who I'm with, that's my girl and she would like to cancel her appointment and reschedule. She took it upon herself to keep complimenting him and repeating that it's too bad that he had a girl because she wanted his number and that he should take hers down "Just in case we break up". Then she said she couldn't find me in the system, but for some reason when I called later that day, they had no issue finding me. I've never been so disrespected in a place of business, ever! For one, you're at work. For two, you're disrespectful as hell because you saw me and were told about me and kept trying. Our last visit myyoungest daughter had her first eye exam and I was nervous for her to go through the process and from pre testing with Michelle (I think that was her name) to her time with the doctor and then picking out her glasses with Thomas, she had a great experience and cant wait to get her glasses. Take the time to visit this location. They are wonderful!

Went in to order contacts also hoping to purchase a trial pair since the contacts i ordered are not in stock. The girl working told me they are not allowed to give trial contacts unless i get an exam so i would have to wait until my contacts were shipped to the store. I asked if home delivery was available and she said yes it just costs a little more so i declined and went with the ship to store option. One minute later my boyfriend goes into the store to also order contacts. He was given a free trial pair to go home with, without having an exam, the exact thing they told me could not do for me because its not allowed. Apparently the store policy is different for different customers. Also he was offered free ship to home since his purchase was over $50. I also spent over $50 but was told ship to home cost more money. Never have been disappointed going to this location until now..this was totally frustrating. Very unpleased by the service i received today.

Eye exam was okay but went downhill from there. Sales staff were not very friendly and tried to rush though the ordering process. Was shocked to learn that the total was 4 times greater than that which was advertised. I have to recant my previous review. All the receptionist need to be replaced. No reason why I waited an hour and 15 minutes to get my daughters frame readjusted. Come to find out, none of the receptionist informed Paula we were waiting for an adjustment. She was kind and apologized for the wait but shame on the receptionist! Tuve que terminar pagando $ 60 por el examen. y no pude comprar la receta. Nunca recibí cordialidad, comprensión o una sonrisa de ese médico. Realmente fue un desprecio muy incómodo.

I and 2 sons had an appointment we were seen quickly, eyes tested then on to the exam which I love our dr...then after we were ushered over to Courtney whom was professional, friendly and helpful...about $650 later, 3 eye exams, 1 year worth of contacts for 3 people, 1 pair of glasses with scratch resistance and so on, I think this is reasonable... they do a great job etc...I understand it was 2 pairs first 69$ but once you pay its more when you have two different lenses, added features like scratch resistance, thin lenses etc...so I bought just the one pair exactly as I need..very happy each year we go

Bad customer service. Couldn't help with what my insurance covered, which is a lot. I tried to move my appointment to later but they said there were no more appointments later even though there were plenty when I made my appointment two days before plus I overheard them saying they weren't taking anymore appointments because the doctor felt like leaving in twenty or thirty minutes. The exam took five minutes usually it takes twenty or so, so I'm not sure how thorough they are. I left without my contacts exam and didn't buy any glasses. Now I'll have to waste more time on another appointment for contacts. Update: they waived the contact exam fee that my insurance would have covered, however, it took me four trips to the store and several emails and phone calls to get my contacts.

Learn to advertise your specials properly, I understand the 69.95 is a starting price but apparently if your vision is too bad you don't qualify for that promotion which is a load of BS! Also if you want to qualify for that as well don't ask for a contact exam because then it's all of a sudden 79 dollars for the exam plus in my case over 300 dollars for glasses not even including contacts. I will never come to this company for my eyes or ever recommend them to anyone, I will make sure they don't come here or any Americas best for that matter. I'm extremely upset/disappointed!

If you look at the reviews there's many customers who are NOT happy with this place. I wish I looked at them before I went. It took almost a month for me to get my glasses. At the end of the day it's about customer service. I did NOT get any. I will say a mgr named Logan was helpful and tried to make me happy. She was the only positive thing about this place. I would NOT...I repeat...I would NOT go back there. Do a little homework and find a better place than this. Look at the other reviews.... There's too many negative ones... That speaks volume! It gets 2 stars because of Logan the mgr. She is a nice person who tried 2 help me. UPDATE: August 1st The mgmt replied to my post. They want the opportunity to make this disaster right. My response is when I walked into the store that was your opportunity to get it right the first time. That's when you need to make sure you take care of the customer. NOT when they have received SUBPAR customer service on two occasions. It took almost a month for me to get my glasses. I will say it again...lesson learned! Do a little homework and find a place that will do the job right the FIRST time!!!! I will not be going back there!

I am not sure what has happened with this store. The staff is very slow to help customers. I waited for someone to help us for a long line while the staff was in the bream room. We waited over two weeks for my sons glasses only to find out they had been a while, but no one from the store called to let us know! When I called after a week, the store manager was very annoyed and said they would call me when they were in. I am giving a one star review because the sales girl was mad I didnt buy the insurance on his two pairs of glasses. She told my son he was going to break his glasses ans was very short with him. My whole family has been going there, but we will be finding another eye doctor. The customer service at this store is not the best.

Be sure to read the fine print, that is where I messed up. The 2 pair price is only for single lenses. Also, if you don't want to pay for the second pair (which in my case for bifocals is very expensive...over $400 for one pair) you have to pay for the eye exam, which was reasonably priced at $45 I believe. I paid just over $600 at Eye Express for my eye glasses and a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses and cases for both, something that is extra here. I bit on the advertising without exploring the fine print. Needless to say, I will be going back to Eye Express the next time I need glasses. By the way, this review in no way reflects on the people working there...they were very nice and professional, it was just the price and my fault for not reading the fine print.

Exam went well except for being pressured to do the field vision test which I already knew I would fail. I explained this to the tech multiple times. (extra $15 out of pocket for this exam). I failed. Multiple times. Again. Called a few weeks later to get contacts. I was told I didn't need to call & that I could just come in & pick them up. So I do. They couldn't find my chart, and then they couldn't find the right contacts. Eventually I left with contacts in hand. Went in today (about 8wks later) and it will be the last time. I told them I wanted to get contacts. The tech or whatever she is (Khyrsten) insisted I had to order them. When I finally said that I didn't have to order last time; she asked for my name.. then said they have them in stock but that I would have to pay for them. Ok? Of course. So I responded okay. Instead of just letting me pay and letting me get on my way she replied, "well, that's called ordering them." Well Khyrsten. I'll go somewhere else for my contacts. There are plenty of other places that will gladly take my money.

This place is a joke. No one acknowledged me when I walked in for my daughter's eye appointment so we didn't get checked in on time. Our order took forever (I understand back-to-school) but over a week and no word on when our order was in. I called to find out and they said the order was in...how long has it been sitting there? Horrible customer service all around, cheapest isn't always the best. When I called to check I was placed on multiple 5+ minute holds, hung up on and treated rudely.

The information in the commercial is a lie, it stated free eye exams with two pairs of frames, but i paid $20 for my eye exams. In total for my two pairs i paid $165 a very good price for two pairs of glasses. Big thanks to Edward for helping my father and i and taking his time translating in Spanish.

I' ve been here about 5 times and have yet to be given ALL my prescribed items. The customer service is horrible- I was given the wrong information, the wrong contacts were ordered, and asked to pay for a contacts eye examination twice because they were unable to give me a timely appointment. I've been wearing glasses and contacts for over 20 years and never had such a negative experience with an eye glass establishment. I don't recommend America's Best. Very dissatisfied!

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this office. I had made an appointment the day before, and when I arrived (on a Saturday), it was very busy. Nonetheless, I was in and out in about an hour. I didn't feel rushed or hurried through. The front office employee was quick with checking benefits and paperwork. I would say I only spent about 10 minutes (if that?) waiting on the tech and then Dr. Modi. Dr. Modi was wonderful; very thorough, but prompt. I was then sent to select my frames. With perfect timing, Gary greeted me to assist with my frame selection and vision benefits. He was very personable and made my first eye appt experience in 15 years very enjoyable. I even appreciated the friendly suggestion of comparable designer frames. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

The glasses selection here is not great. I decided to just get the eye exam and buy glasses somewhere else. Turns out the exam that was very rushed and didn’t give me time to really figure out which slide I saw better (1 or 3, 3 or 4, etc chose now! quick!) is wrong. I get my new awesome glasses and can’t even use them because this place can’t even do eye exams correctly. Just save your time and money and go somewhere else. Target, Warby Parker, anywhere.

The prices of the glasses and professionalism of the optometrist was amazing! But the disorganization of the staff was unsatisfactory. We got to our appointment exactly at 11am, and left around 12:45pm. A gentleman arrived around 11:45am and was finished by 12:20. Same with another couple who came in after us, they ordered their lenses before we were even seen. They need a better organizing strategy, in order to be fair to the customers. We shouldn't have to wait almost two hours for the same service someone else was in and out in 35 minutes for.

My second time coming with my family and was very disappointed. I called in advance to make an appointment, I asked if they had all my insurance info from previous year so I don't have to waste time on appt date. I showed up to appt. with my family they had us waiting an hour only to end up having to walk out. All the customer representatives seemed to lack knowledge of working with insurance. They couldn't find my info or insurance. Service reps looked like highschool kids with no knowledge to be working there. I decided to call America's Best Eyeglasses customer service line they took my info said they'd call the manager haven't heard back from them. Thank you Americas best eyeglasses for wasting my time. Never going back. UNPROFESSIONAL! Hire people with knowledge of insurance and eyeglasses. ***UPDATE: Americas Best prescription was way off, no wonder my head was hurting and vision blurry. Same situation with my kids prescription. Please go to a professional, not worth the savings.

I have gone here twice now for exams. The wait to see anyone is longer than the actual exam itself. The second time I went because my glasses were not helping and I was still experiencing trouble seeing clearly. When I saw a doctor the guy said I needed the same prescription, uh ok?... I mention I cant even read my work screen anymore and he says, "well that's a whole different exam." So we do another (very short) exam and he says it's the same RX again but I need different glasses. I get these glasses and they don't help either. Now I'm stuck with two pairs of glasses that don't help. Will not be going back. Oh and not to rat her out but, sorry not sorry, the clerk who was "helping" me check out was shopping for a new bed comforter and then had no idea how much to charge me....

I’ve been here for glasses and contacts several times and I always have a very capable optometrist and most of the staff seems to be helpful and all smiles. In fact, I went in today for contacts and I was in a hurry. Not only was in and out of there in about 20 mins (including eye exam and updated prescriptions) I got a trial pair of contacts to try out for free. Some people are just impatient.

The staff are warm and friendly, and not pushy about "upgrades". After the exam we were informed that his prescription does not qualify for the deal and his glasses would cost $200+ per pair. I placed an order for my 16 year old and other kids for their glasses. I received a call saying all my glasses are in. When I went to pick them up I was told that they showed they checked in my 16year olds glasses that they where in the back to come back later to pick them up. The person said that she will look for them in the back. When I went back later I found out they never looked for them. The lady just lied to avoid telling the truth. The person who helped me later could not find them and said they were lost. She had to replace the order and said it would take 7 business days to come in. Apparently that was a lie also because I just found out that it is taking 10 days. There is nothing worse than dealing with a place that hires a bunch of liars. I don't recommend this place to anyone unless you enjoy being lied to.

We went to America's Best Eyecare at the Loop, Kissimmee. Florida. They do not care for the patient and they are rather more interested in selling. My wife and I spend over $200 and apparently this was not enough for the person who was attending to us. Her mood totally changed towards us once she realized that we were not going to spend more, and she made us feeling very uncomfortable. I will definitely not be going back there.

Best experience I’ve had! Fransico helped me immensely to find the right pair of glasses I wanted. After my eye exam was finished I was indecision and instead of getting aggitated 3 employees helped me pick out the exact ones I wanted! Definitely a great environment and if you need help they will definitely help you. I am not sure why everyone is giving a bad review. The only negative thing about this location is the wait. I waited around an hour to an hour and a half but it is always busy with appointments and walk ins. If you do not have the patience to wait then do not complain. The wait was worth it in the end. I ended up getting 2 pairs of glasses with the lens I needed for $200. Overall, great price and extremely nice employees!! The doctor was very nice, and walked me through my stigmatism.

If you want no frills cheap pair of glasses this place is good. My dad got 2 pair he was happy with for reeally cheap including RX but they've got no anti glare and the the lens was thick and well :/ I went in for a quote and was quoted about 350 for a pair of glasses same materials coatings I got at Costco for 120. This place gets a 2 star because they couldn't just tell me these things- they had to see my RX for quotes on my contacts and glasses even though I knew my RX. I spent over an hour in there waiting to get helped and have prescriptions faxed. I knew what i needed/wanted would have been willing to come back with an RX. I don't see why you would need to waste people's time like that.

I came in to pick up my contacts, I checked in with the front desk, and she asked me to have a seat she would be with me in a moment! I said great! 2 family’s were ahead of me, which was fine. I waited for 15 mins watching the front desk lady ask someone to help with other customers other than me, at least two more people walked in after me and were taken care of in mins, at least 3 people who work here walked right by me smileing in my face but not asking me if I was helped or checking on me. I took my son’s miraflex frames to have his new prescription lenses put in. They told me they’d have to ship off his frames to have the new lenses put in. This was on May 23, 2019. It is now July 11, 2019 and I still don’t have his glasses!! I waited 14 days and then called to check on them and they informed me that they never got shipped to the lab and were still in their store. Waited another 14 days and still no glasses and no one can tell me where they are. It’s been back and forth with them saying this and that. Monday 7-8-19 I was told that they were found and would be here today. They just called to say that they still aren’t there and that they are lost!!! Then I was informed that “I” have to call corporate and speak to someone about getting me a refund on my frames. I’ve been extremely patient throughout this entire situation and just can’t believe how they dropped the ball then picked it up and then lost it entirely. I just spoke with the customer service rep who gave no apologies and is supposedly mailing me a check. Meanwhile my son needs his glasses and I now have to start this process somewhere else....and school is starting back. Just awful and no accountability. The local clerk Tina was apologetic and helpful.

I call and ask about their special and also asked if they do walk-in the guy said yes. I have been a repeated costumer of this establishment for the last three years, and every time I have visited I’ve been met with great service! However, the last time I visited this establishment, less than a week ago, I arrived to make a complaint about a pair of eye glasses I had purchased a few months prior. The general manager Maria Matos overheard my complaint, and quickly came over to assess the situation. In all sincerity, in all the three years that I’ve been a costumer of this establishment, I have never, ever, acquired such amazing, and fantastic service. This woman (Maria Matos) seriously went above, and beyond all my expectations! The help, care, and attentiveness she had with me, and my issues was truly awesome! I am extremely grateful for all her help! She fixed the problem with my glasses, and armed me with the right tools, and information to ensure that the issue would not reoccur, and I also got a really great deal on my contact lenses!! They have officially won over a lifetime loyal customer!!!

Worst experience getting glasses ever. The glasses were made to the 1st Dr.s script but the script made me dizzy. The 2nd time back a different Dr gave me a different script. Then I had to wait over 2 weeks for the replacement glasses to come in. They would tell me when the glasses were coming. On top of all that the glasses options they offer were not very good and I found Walmart to be cheaper with nicer glasses. America's best is not the best. I will never go back. You shouldn't either.

Excellent service! I've had really bad luck with other eye places in the past so I was surprised at how helpful and affordable everything was. I did the two pairs (i even went to the $80 frames instead of 60)with a free exam special and after lenses and the 1 year plan and coating package came out spending barely $300 which is great seeing how vision works in Athens tried to charge me about $260 more for the SAME thing and tried to argue me into glass over plastic. Another plus, I got my glasses in 5 days (2 of them being the weekend) which was faster than I've ever gotten my pairs anywhere else. I definitely recommend this location, they are fantastic!

Come in for the commercial, (Bait) 2 pairs of glasses and an eye exam...69.99 Seems too good to be true.....so you will get a LOT of interest, then the (switch)...if you need glasses that actually work and look nice expect 3-500.00 for glasses, 300.00 for contacts.....and exam might be 69.99

Let me start of by saying that I am TERRIFIED of doctors, and optometrists are no exception. I scheduled an appointment online - super easy process but went in feeling nervous the next day. The staff really made me feel at ease. They were friendly and made sure that you were well-taken care of. Dr. Modi was friendly and attentive as well. She made the whole process easy and painless. The receptionist helped me pick out frames and offered to give advice if I couldn't choose between several styles. I will definitely come back to this location (even though there is one closer to my house) next year. The only downside is that I have to wait up to a week for my new glasses, which I was told I would have to come back to pick up. All in all, I don't mind driving out of my way if I know that I will be treated right. I was in and out in under an hour.

I had the BEST experience at this new America's best in Bethlehem. I walked in and was greeted by all 3 of the employees there, were as at other locations it took 20 minutes for them to even acknowledge I was in the store. The saff were sooo nice and helpful and took care of everything I needed in a matter of minutes. I was there for like 15 minutes after they fixed my daughter's glasses just talking because they were so awesome and friendly. I would recommend the new store in Bethlehem to anyone who has not had a good experience at other locations, all locations need to take a page from their book on customer service.

The staff at this location is very professional and accommodating. But the lab that they have the glasses made at is another story. I ordered two pair of glasses both polycarbonate lens with antireflection. When I got the glasses one pair had the coating on both lenses but the left lens was made wrong like it was twisted, and the other had antireflection only on one lens really one lens do they not check them before you send them out then it took 10days to remake.

I gave Aurora, Colorado - America's Best a shot and was impressed with the process. Very quiet and professional. Explanations given for each station and wait times within minutes of each station. If I could give this location 0 stars I would my husband had an appointment and it was horrible. The young lady lied and told him that he needed a certain exam they made him take the exam then gave him a contract afterward that stated that he had a choice whether he wanted to take the particular exam or not and there was a $15 fee in which he was never informed about until afterward the young lady then tried to make him sign the contract[there's more but I'd rather speak to corporate & the better business bureau about it ]. He was in the waiting area and the entire staff talked about him while he was there(doctor, front desk etc. ... How unprofessional !!They are con artist money hungry and will do anything to fill their quota. Do not waste your money .. Go to another location . We have never had this problem with their company before. Poor choice of staff.

Although you may have had many pairs of glasses, you probably have no idea about how involved it can be to correctly adjust a pair to properly fit your face. If you go see Melissa (MEL), you will learn this. Melissa is an absolute professional in the optical field. She is extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about her trade. ( she actually loves her Job). If you want wise advice and competent service regarding any of your optical needs, I strongly suggest that you go see MEL.

This is not a very good place to go for fast and courtious service. The people who work their treat you like you are an imbacile and completely beneath them. They are very rude to you. Didn’t have them for one day and they broke. Only went there because of my insurance. ........Well I took them back to get them fixed. Was very unsatisfied with my glasses. Everyone is so friendly, & I ended up getting an awesome deal. I purchased 2 pairs of glasses for only $165. That's with taxes & anti glare all included! Most eye drs out in town charge $250 for just one pair of glasses! Also it only took about 10 days for my frames to come in. Overall I highly recommend this place!

Possibly the worst experience ever. Sent home with 1 pair of contacts and NO SOLUTION because "we don't do that"? Are you kidding me?? They write out a Spectacle Rx even though you pay for Contact Lens Rx. Refuse to give it to you without a follow up appointment and waiting for a week. Customer service is really poor - told 3 different things in 10 minutes. Spend more - you'll end up going somewhere else anyway.

I was scheduled for a 09:30 appointment on Thursday (09/15). I came in at 09:25 am to fill out the questionnaire, and was instructed to sit in the waiting area for someone to call me up for the exam. Everyone who came in after me was called up before me for their eye exams... it wasn't until around 10:20 I finally got called up. I was the last one left in the waiting area! The only reason I bothered to wait was I had the whole day off... never coming here again. Absolutely unprofessional. The worst experience I've ever had; period.

They checked my eyes, I left there with a new prescription, bought my contacts through another eye company because the price was better. However, once I got my new contacts I was not able to see very good, I was still squinting to be able to see. I called this company back to have my eyesight rechecked, they had to up my right eye by three quarters, and lessen the left eye by one quarter. I was not able to get a refund from the place where I purchased my contacts, I called this company to let them know that I'm now stuck with two boxes of an incorrect lens strength. I did speak to the mngr and he was very rude about the whole thing, basically telling me that they could do nothing to help me, I asked for another trial pair to hold me over until I could purchase the correct prescription. He reluctantly said he'd give me another trial pair, after much argument. I will be contacting thier headquarters to state my complaint as well. Customer care and service was atrocious.

My little rubber thing that sets on my nose fell off, so I took my glasses into the store. I was very surprised by the fantastic service that Pam gave me! This place is so ghetto and not professional at all! It's like they are so busy that they are like chickens running around with there heads cut off. I had the opportunity to meet the office manager who was so fake and rude it was awful. My daughter had broke her glasses so I went in to see about getting her a new pair and he was so busy he just ignored me for a whole 5 minutes until he said that he would be with me soon. So I took it upon myself to go find the glasses she had broke and took them to him which he just popped out the old lens and put them in the old frame that everyone trys on.. when I asked him if this was a temporary frame until a new pair came in he just said no because a lot could happen until then and if I wanted a fast option or not?!? Oh and there system was down at the time too so that was a headache. I swear we will never be going back to this place again. Don't say I didn't warn you!! This place is God awful and the office manager should be fired. He is the man with the really blonde hair and glasses.

I went to Americas Best in a frenzy because my I ran over my favorite pair of glasses. Thank goodness I had warranty on them (so worth it). Maria the assistant eyeglass manager was amazing. She literally sat with me and called 11 stores and found one in South Carolina that had the same pair and had them shipped. She took time out of her way to find them for me and help me feel like it was going to be okay even after my accident. And the best part was I did not have to pay a dime for them to be replaced. Thank you so much Maria, Mariah and Amanda for helping me... My family and I will continue to stay being a customer at this Americas Best store. This was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever encountered.

Was at the Aurora, Colorado store (the one on Mississippi) with my girlfriend who was looking a frames for her glasses and I was witness to an exchange between a customer and the #2 manager, Thomas. The woman there was apparently getting contacts but wanted Thomas to give her two sets of glasses for free and he'd said that he could get her one. She blew up in his face and called him a racist! Having witnessed the entire exchange, I was amazed that he dealt with her at all after that but he conducted himself with diplomacy and tact and moved on. I and a couple other customers saw the exchange and were floored by this woman's attitude and complete lack of common sense. It was the first time I've been close to the a conversation where the black calling a white racist could not have been farther from the truth and was unsure if I should have stepped in and told her off myself but I waited until she 'huffed' out of the store and told him what a great job he did in spite of her poor manners and attitude. After noticing some of the negative reviews on the site, I've got to wonder, how many of those 'negative' reviews are from over-bearing, self-righteous, entitled people who don't have a clue about real life.

The absolute WORST!! General manager seems clueless, front desk staff is always different, sales associates need better training so they're not pressuring you to buy something you don't want because there is a difference between informing a customer of options and benefits and just plain pushing to make a sale. In conclusion, my last visit was supposed to be to pick up my glasses and the receptionist tried to adjust the nose pads and scratched my lenses. I thought Fl was a license state. I have no idea what others problems were. When all i could find to gripe about is they dont have magnetic clip on sunglasses? Was treated fantastic by everyone there. From check in to frame selection. The actual exam was quick a easy. By far the best experiance ive ever had at an optometrist. And you cant beat the prices at all. Fantastic.

I don't normally leave negative reviews like this, but the problems with this place seem to be systemic. I will never go back, even if I have to pay significantly more elsewhere. First bad experience: the pre-doctor examination. The technician couldn't operate the eye examination machine very well; it nearly poked me in the eye (hit my eyelashes, forcing me to back up). She kept apologizing, but not one apology seemed sincere. Second bad experience: the doctor's examination. It seemed rushed and robotic. Third bad experience: when I picked up my glasses, the screws were stripped/scratched, and one of the hinges broke as soon as I tried them on. Even the case the glasses were in smelled putrid. Very poor quality control. All experiences: Every staff member with whom I interacted was either straining to be friendly (stressed, overworked, extremely tired) or blatantly unfriendly. I've never visited a place where everyone seemed unhappy.

This place on Osceola parkway just has the slowest workers I have ever seen. Last year we came here and waited over 2 hours to be checked out, this year We had to wait an hr again to be checked out. No sense of urgency at all at this location. Right before they closed, all the staff left with only 3 staff left while there was still a lot of patients left. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. They obviously don’t care about you at all.

I was searching for a place to get a new eye exam and glasses. I couldn't remember where I had been in this area. I only knew I didn't want to go there again. When America's Best popped up, it brought back the bad experience and then I saw the bad reviews. I remember paying too much and ending up with glasses that were not right. Their Customer Service was non-existent. They rudely refused to do anything about it. Also, something else I clearly remember was that they kept talking in Spanish about the customers (I understood them). Not very professional. Maybe things have changed but with other stores available than I can go to, I would be crazy to go back there.

I have been to America's best for years never had a problem until I went to this one in kissimmee the one in clearwater and the one in lakeland exelent service but this one was ok until I deside it to ask the Doctor a question before making an appointment. I explain to the doctor that I had a cataract surgery years ago and that I had another one that was supposed to be taken out from the other side of the eye but that I went to a doctor in Haines City and they told me that I did not have a cataract and so I wanted to make an appointment to find out what I had and to see if I can have that white stuff from my eye removed because I was having problems, instead of saying to me okay "we'll take a look at it make an appointment "she started to kind of defending the other doctor and just being sarcastic which make me upset and I told her you know what it's okay I have no more questions I'm done so she kept going over and over after I told her I was done talking because she was not listening for what I had to say I felt attacked so I walked out of the room I did not expect that, very sad and disappointed. Also prices went up dont know if is just there but one thing is for sure I wount be going there no more.

Horrible customer service! I usually work abroad and come home once every year and restock my contacts. Well, three weeks ago, I went for an eye exam and they told me it would take 14 business days to receive the trials. Well, it has been over 20 business days and I still haven't gotten them! Now, when I call to inquire when I would receive them, they say they "don't know" because they are on back order! Now i've got to figure out what to do since I have to leave next week! Even when I told them this, they just say there's nothing they can do! I would like to add that my previous eye doctor office (Eyedeal Vision) always accomodated my needs and got me my contacts on time, and that I only tried this place because of my insurance change. Definitely avoid this place!

I scheduled an appointment for this location on May 17, 2018 at 10:10AM. When I arrived at 10:05AM the doors were closed and the lights were shut off. Their store hours say 9AM opening Monday - Saturday. I saw three women, who looked like they worked there, start walking to the door and then turned around and got back in their cars. I, along with 15 other people, waited for 30 mins. While I was waiting I called the Parker location to see if they could give me an explanation as to why the store was closed. They placed me on hold and contacted the General Manager. Apparently there was some kind of emergency and they were unable to open the store. I notified the customers that were waiting and we all left. I then received a phone call, 30 mins after my appointment, to tell me that the store was closed. I would have appreciated a call before my scheduled appointment or at the very least a sign on the door explaining that the location was closed. I am never attempting to go to that location again. They clearly lack basic customer service skills.

The biggest plus about this place is the ability to make appointments online, but after that it does start to go downhill. I called ahead to confirm that they do indeed take my vision insurance, the person on the phone was a bit short, but said they did. I arrived, had my exam, kept being offered their vision plan, and had to keep reminding them I have vision insurance. Once it was time to sit down and order my contacts, and again being offered the vision plan, the rep started to look up my insurance info. He had never done my particular carrier, and they are running a new system, so he was confused. Well, after about 15 minutes he asked if I could just come back tomorrow, as someone better informed would be working. Tomorrow wasn't going to work for me, and I was a bit disappointed. He pressed on and ended up calling the company. Eventually someone figured out that they do not actually take my insurance. Huge waste of time. They then said "You can keep the contacts we gave you." Oh really? The ones already ON MY EYES? How kind. The folks were friendly for the most part, but could definitely use more training. For this, and the online appointments, they get two stars.

Went in to get my son glasses last week. Nobody was at the desk when we walked in and stood there until someone came up to us. Was interested in contacts for him but had a hard time in the back trying to figure out what the club was. The girl in the back seemed rushed, like she didn't want to deal with my questions. However my experience turned around after seeing Dr. Wadas he took his time and was very funny and nice. After going out from the doctor we waited awhile until it was our turn to order glasses. The girl amanda who sat down with us was more knowledgeable and friendly. I asked her questions and she didn't hesitate to explain anything to me. When I asked about contacts and the club she even offered to put my son back in with the Doctor now that I knew what the exam for contacts would cost and consist of. Overall I will be back with my daughter.

Yes, they have amazing deals wich was what attracted me to go to this place. The eye exam and appointment was good. Two different guys helped me that day and they were very helpful and patient and even got a discount on my third pair of glasses. But the lady on the phone! I called to ask if my glasses are ready since it's been more than 10 days. She put me on hold two times in a row (30min) and on a very rude tone she said she's busy to check if my glasses are ready or not. I haven't received any calls after that to know the status of my glasses since i really need them.

Got 2 pairs of glasses here for the price of one! The whole experience here was quick and efficient despite them being busy. Normally when I get glasses they take 2 weeks, here they take between 7-10 days which is a plus. The staff were very helpful in finding the glasses I needed (because they weren't on the shelf). Would definitely recommend getting glasses here in the future.

I ordered contact lenses that came in on 7/20/18 3 days later 7/23/18 when I put them in after 3-4 hours they ripped in my eye while I was at work I had to toss them and go home to get my glasses when I called the location I asked to speak to someone to have them replaced the front desk took my information and said a manager would call me back (THEY NEVER DID) few days go by and I call there again the person that answered had no idea what I was talking about only to put me on hold and tell me that there is nothing they can do unless I kept the ripped contact. who expects someone to hold on to ripped contacts for days at a time? they wouldn't replace my damaged contacts or refund me the money i paid for them. I usually try not to read reviews because its mainly people who are trying to complain about the smallest things but now I wish i would have before coming to this location.

Clear test of honesty, I waited for over 22 minutes on the phone after they told me to hold 'briefly' or 'they are finishing up with a customer' and when my wife called the same number they picked up and gave her all the information we needed. Even after my wife got all the information, I stayed on hold to see how much longer they would keep me on hold and I eventually hung up. They help those who they want. So don't be surprised when your one of those who get side-lined. Not worth going here, much better Eye care shops around town.

Call to see about delivery of my contacts was told they would be there on Wednesday it is now the following Monday when I called the sea where they were at I was told there in transit and that they should be there by 8 that night. I have been going to America's Best for many years as I loved the service I received and decided to purchase the 5 year membership, I was even more excited that there would be one opening closer to my home. After the quickest eye exam of my life (and I've been wearing glasses since very young) I was given the wrong prescription. I decided to try them out for a few days thinking my eyes were simply adjusting to the new power of the lenses. They were still giving me headaches and eye problems. I went in person to talk to the receptionist to come up with a solution. After ignoring me for a good 15 minutes, she finally acknowledged me and told me to have a seat and she'll have someone come take a look at me. Noticing how busy it was at that particular time, I asked her to make an appointment for me so I could come back the next day. She told me I did not need an appointment and to come back at any time in the morning. BIG MISTAKE! I came back the next day, and was seen by the general manager Shawn. He made no effort to fix the mistake that I had been dealing with for a week, and told me the best he could do was make an appointment to be seen AGAIN. Normally, I would not have a problem, but I insisted the day before the receptionist make me an appointment, but she was inattentive and overall gave me terrible customer experience. I trusted that America's Best would fix their mistake in a timely manner per her advice to just come back the next day. Now I have to wait an extra day to be seen, but also close to 2 weeks to (hopefully) receive the new pair of glasses and contacts. An extra day of feeling nauseous and with headaches brought upon an incorrect prescription that could've easily been fixed the same day but in the general manager's words "the doctors are busy and there's only so much I can do". Being in the medical field myself, I am highly disappointed, as I know there was so much more that he could do. Unfortunately, the management is only there for the money, and not realizing how truly debilitating an incorrect eye prescription can be.

Cannot recommend at this time. Bureaucratic operation with lots of employees and little efficiency. Waiting on a refund that has yet to show up on my account but when it comes to charging fees they sure don't wait around. Was given a quote by one employee for 383.00 that 3 days later went up to 438.00 with another employee for the same order. Do yourself a favor and choose another eyeglass provider that is more upfront and does not treat customers as walking dollar bills up for grabs.

While my original examination went well, I missed my contact lens follow up do to an emergency work situation. Once I was able to come back in I figured I would walk in and wait until I could be seen. The receptionist thought I was a new patient and told me she could make me an appointment for fifty minutes later. Once I informed her that I was coming for a follow up she told me oh well we don't have any availability until the Monday the 20th. How does that make sense? A follow up takes less time than a complete re-examination. Why would I have to wait 10 days to get that done? That makes absolutely no sense! Are you only catering to new money and not taking care of your eye care club members because you only already got the money? I am not happy with America's Best and will look for eye care elsewhere.

Never had a problem at any America’s best location before but this last experience has me questioning if I’ll even go back. I made An appointment and was seen on time . I was Told the contactsI normally Use were discontinued so I was Given a trial pair. And I ordered Some glasses as well as I like To switch it up. Almost a month goes by and I haven Heard from them AT ALL. I work Two jobs so I can Rarely catch them while they are open . I sneak In this Saturday and I ask If my glasses are in and they say yes , THEY HAVE BEEN THERE FOR NEARLY 3 WEEKS. I asked If there is a reason I hadnt Been contacted and they claim to have called me ONCE and proceed to tell me a WRONG NUMBER. Then , they ask if I returned For my “follow up” contact appt....EXCUSE ME ??? I was NEVER told of a “ follow up” appt. As the manager stands not even 2 feet away from the young lady and I and can clearly hear us SHE SAYS NOTHING. So now I have To wait to be seen by a doctor before I can Purchase some contacts . After waiting about 15 mins I had A 2 min exam and then waited another 15-20 mins to purchase contacts from a gentleman that was having a hard time with the computer because he took about 10 mins to find out if they had them in stock and I had To ASK HIM for prices because he never told me my options . I reluctantly Purchased six months worth of contacts so that I won’t have to return for a while. Then he tells me oh by the way , your eyeglass prescription is up in March ??? Uhm , how is that possible if I was Just given a NEW EXAM A MONTH AGO IN DECEMBER????? So over them I dont Know where the breakdown is but they seriously need to get it together.

Don't go there they milk you for every dime. If you need contacts make sure you go back for their "check if your contacts fit appointment" even if you have wore contacts most of your life they make you do it and if you don't go in time they make you repay for the appointment. Insruance couldn't believe what I was going through. Worst experience ever!

Terrible. AMERICAS WORST. Ghetto. Poor selection and the techs are NO help they just sit there while you try and pick TWO pairs out of the poor poor selection. On top of all that we STILL ended up paying over 200 bucks after all the important add ons and fees...and EVEN worse you have to wait TWO WEEKS to pick up...NOT WORTH IT. Will most deffinitly not be back . the SAME DAY LENSES ARE SAME PRICE. OR be sure to grab your prescription you can order way better frames super cheap on line and probably have delivered faster.

this place doesn't deserve one star . they are such scammers. completely fake promotion of eye wear even after being told a price on initial visit when i did my exam it went from approximately 160 to 560 . then they charge you for the free exam if you dont purchase the glasses at such an absurd price. Unless your prescription is basic, skip online and warehouse stores and go here. Expertise of technicians is needed to make sure they fit right for my astigmatism and wife's progressive lenses. Kaitlyn was wonderful at consulting and getting us fitted. Went during weekday and was fast all around.

Horrible service, they mixed up my order and the manager promised to expedite the reorder but never did and they took an additional 5 days after I came in to even place the reorder. Everytime I came in asking about it they kept saying it was coming in today but it didnt and kept giving me runabout answers. They are extremely disorganised so I will never come back to this location.

When I came for my appointment i specifically asked do you take my insurance. They said yes! Appointment went well, service was good, everything seemed fine. Im ordering my glasses, i know my insurance gives me an allowance for frames ($150)so i shop within my money allowance (frames i picked $100). Im checking out and the price seems high. I ask the lady why the amount is so high. She says you will have to take it up with your insurance company, they are only covering $20 for your frames. So ok, i really liked the glasses maybe its only certain brands i can pick. No big deal! I get home call my insurnace and this company is out of network. Why would you say you take the insurnace knowing you dont and are charging me almost pull price. The $20 discount is the out of network coverage. When i called americas best back they said oh yes your insurnace is out of network but we still take it. Well thats not what you told me!!!! Theres a differnace and i feel you lied to me just to get my money! I paid, it wasnt about the money, its the fact you said you took my insurnace but at a out of network cost without telling me the whole truth. So my insurnace company says with businesses like this you have to specificaly ask "are you in my network".

So I decided to try this place mainly because of the "promotion" on contacts. The front desk lady was very nice and friendly, I get called back for a pre-exam by a lady who doesn't even smile and just tells me it's a pre exam. The doctor them sees me. I get called again by the first lady who's just sitting at her computer and gives me a different high price from the one I was originally given. I tell her that I was given a different price and with an attitude she tells me that she's the only one who deals with contacts and that i can leave and not pay anything but there's nothing I else she will do. I got my little self out of her seat and told her that the staff needs to be given the proper in formation and walked right out. Never again will i consider this or any of these locations.

Complete waste of money! I bought into the membership plans they make sound so good not knowing they had no one capable of prescribing contacts. Oh they tried but people are herded like cattle in this place and they have no idea what the are doing each time they talk with you. After several pairs of trial contacts and several appointments I just gave up. This place has a low rent feel to it and low rent service to match.

Absolutely fantastic, the receptionists were inviting and charismatic, the doctor was very respectful and they truly helped me to the best of their ability with everything I brought to them. Didn't push any upgrades, they obviously recommend them, but that's because most of them are worth it for particular lifestyles. They even mailed my glasses to another America's Best location that I would be near when they were ready, so I could get them ass soon as possible. Couldn't ask for better service.

ive been going here the last 3 years because its affordable and i do not have insurance so i pay out of pocket. there is one doctor i am not particularly fond of he seems very irritated and in a hurry, but to be fair they are always busy. Other than that everyone has always been super nice and i am always in and out within an hour. i have never had problems with the service or the quality of glasses i get.

We should have read the reviews first, wish we could leave 0 stars. Charged for a contacts eye exam and their 3 year “Club” even though they knew my daughter couldn’t get the contacts in and out of her eyes. Ended up over paying for a single pair of glasses, and the club that we can never use and they knew that. When we asked about it when picking up the glasses they said “sorry about your luck, service has already been rendered.” A free service when you buy 2 pairs of glasses, that we paid for and only got 1 pair! Do yourself a favor and stay far away.
