I was very impressed with Dr. Evans. Very thorough, straight-forward. Really liked him and felt he spent the time to make sure everything was correct. BUT, regarding the optician... Bad attitude and refused to allow the staff to fax my prescription to another optical shop even though the staff had already told me they would fax it if I came in and signed a release. After I got there, the optician wouldn't allow them to fax it and said I needed to submit a release from the optical shop to him? Of course, the optical shop had never heard of that. It works the other way around. Obviously he was just miffed that I wasn't purchasing my glasses from him. The other reviewer is correct. If you do not purchase glasses from him, he refuses to help and intentionally makes it hard to get your prescription filled elsewhere. He also has a small selection of frames, not much to choose from.

Went in for kids eye glasses. Had frames picked out less than 15 m for both . They where helpful. Took time to look or get Medicaid numbers from a file or records for Medicaid. Friendly prople

My children have been coming to Doctor Evans for the past 18 years. His staff is very helpful and professional.The children love coming into his office because he have such a kind spirit, a lot of patients, and take time out to answer any questions. The environment has a sense of peace that allow his work to flow through the Grace Of God. He is the number one eye doctor I know thus far in the state of Arkansas.
