Everything was going well until I asked them to include my pupillary distance on my prescription so I could order my glasses elsewhere. Why would I pay extra to buy glasses through them when I can buy from Zenni opiitical or any of the other online places? It’s not on me to prop up your failure to adapt.

Not reccomended. The staff is nice but the service is poor. It took several return visits to receive the correct script. Recently we received a past due notice due to a mess up in the billing dept. What a mess.

The worst eye doctor experience of our lives. Wife was diagnosed twice with the wrong prescription; the third time Yoos refused to stand behind his miss-diagnosis and we paid out of pocket for the right lenses. My son and daughter were both diagnosed and prescribed glasses which messed up their sight. We paid out of pocket again to get a second opinion and were told their sight was just fine and we should never have purchased glasses for them. Word around town is, "don't go to Dr. Yoosless!" I couldn't agree more. He will cost you much more money than going out of your insurance network. Just bite the bullet and save a bunch.

I realize I’ve only been there once, but the caliber of care from every department and person was just wonderful. They treated me like they had known me forever. After 7 months of changing contact prescriptions on the "miracle" overnight lenses my husband got, with a money back guarantee, he still does not see well. Every time he goes back Dr. Yoos just changes the prescription. Never has offered back our money., even when my husband has told them the lenses are not working for him.

My first visit to Dr Yoos office was a very busy Thursday, despite how busy they were I was greeted as soon as I came in the door and several staff members came over and spoke with me before my exam. The thoroughness of the exam and the excellent service I received was remarkable. In an area where folks are so busy and focused on the next thing and making the next dollar it was refreshing they took time for the individual patient. I appreciated the wide selection of frames as well as the personal time they took to walk me through the insurance process and I knew exactly what my options where, no surprises at check out, and lots of choices. Well I can't really comment on Dr. Yoos as I never got the opportunity to see him. I was on my way home and stopped in to see if I could schedule an appointment for an exam. My insurance had recently changed so I was no longer in network with my normal doctor. With my current insurance my eye exams are run through my health insurance, so it has been a bit of a challenge to get an appointment with a couple of places that I have tried. So I thought it would be easier to have them run a check to make sure they accepted it before I scheduled an appointment. The "Professional" at the front desk was not very friendly to start with and when I told her what insurance I had, she said that's health insurance, to which I replied I know, that's who covers my eye exams. She said well what about glasses etc. I said I am not certain and handed her my card. She started to call the insurance company and about midway through the verification, someone came up to check out and she just hung up and handed me my card back and said "I don't... you are going to have to call" I suspect she was about to say "I don't have time" but stopped herself. So I just took my card back and actually started to chuckle out of amazement. I know customer service isn't always easy, but when that is a large part of your job, just essentially turning away a potential new customer because you are too busy to do your job, is an automatic red flag for me. So I guess I am back on the hunt for another doctor.

Welcome to my nightmare!!! Went in to get glasses and they fitted me with lenses that made me dizzy. I went back in a few weeks later and Doctor Yoos was extremely unhappy. Then he started in on my Insurance saying that it was going to be "people like me" that were going to put him out of business. He was on the verge of severely loosing his temper and had to leave the room numerous times. He kept going back to the insurance issue - he clearly didn't want to treat me. I got fitted with the second set of lenses, and the same issues happened. Very dizzy. So I went to another doctor onmy own dime and they told me the prescription was WAY off. They said he had no business practicing medicine and he was a hack. He needs to go back to waiting tables for a living.

I wear them at night wile I sleep, then take them out when I wake up and have better than 20-20 vision....considerably better. What is especially remarkable, is that I went from -6.8 to better than 20-20 vision. It is awesome to see in High Definition! I am never happy to get eyes examined but since a person has to do it, I went. The staff was busy and Dr. even busier, however once the Dr got in to do his thing, it went well was fast easy and got the glasses I needed. It is extremely hard for me to leave a poor rating. Any customer service industry is difficult. It is not however, difficult to correct issues. Our 3 year old came in for an eye issue. Dr Yoos was busy with several other patients. He was unable to get an accurate diagnosis for her. He had to leave a few times to balance other needs. In his defense, my daughter was nervous, but they did not attempt to make her comfortable. At the end, he explained that he was not confident with his findings, and we should seek a second opinion. The new optometrist took the time to do an eye exam on her stuffed animal, which worked wonders. At the new optometrist, we learned that she was legally blind in one eye. We had to pay out of pocket for the second opinion since Dr Yoos filed it with our insurance. That counted as our daughters annual appointment. I called to express my disappointment that we were charged when he was unable to provide a diagnosis or even express confidence in his direction. Dr. Yoos chose to not make it right, which is surprising since this risked losing our whole family's business. It is fair to say that I have been satisfied with my personal previous visits. This incident just made it clear that a few dollars was more important than our ongoing business.

Have been in here several times trying to get my glasses correct. The prescription is constantly off. Every time I’m in the office there is someone upset their prescription isn’t correct. Staff acts rude and pushy when you tell them something isn’t right.
