One-stop quality repair... even for quite difficult repairs. See Aki, he is a marvelous technician and very, very skilled repairman. This is my second {different} repair brought to the N. Tatum Blvd store. This time, while overseas, someone literally plowed into me while standing/talking to a friend. The rather hefty individual knocked my old/favorite sunglasses out of my pocket bending one arm entirely out of shape and popping out one of the mirror finished, polarized lenses. OK, although many optical stores can simply re-set a lens, NOT everyone might even attempt arm restoration when bent 45-degrees from the frame. Aki to the rescue... Brought in yesterday late afternoon and he says: Give me an hour & ready by 5 pm! Sound good? Sure. But, he really had work to do: 1- remove remaining lens 2- heat & re-adjust, re-form the straight arm angle to normal 3- insure structural integrity & bond to lens frame 4- cool and retighten arms' hinges 5- reinstall both lenses 6- double check tightness and alignment of arms/screws 7- clean lenses & frame + arms 8 = GOOD as NEW! All in an hour and ready for pick-up NOTE: I live in Central Scottsdale & am 10 miles away from Aki's Store. There are literally dozens of optical shops between my home & Aki's All-American Eyeglass Repair. Some others might be quite good BUT, for me? There's only one stop = see Aki for solid repairs. I had a pair of Silhouette glasses with a broken bridge, and local shops were quoting $200 or more to fix it -- apparently, Silhouette is very proud of their products. I searched on-line and found American Eyeglass Repair and as an avid reviewer, I was pleased to note the volume of very solid reviews for AER. I followed all instructions, sent my glasses carefully wrapped and with completed paperwork, and just as promised, they contacted me on the day my glasses arrived to tell me the cost and get my approval. I was a little hesitant at first since I heard about them through a google search online, but they were the only place I found that could fix a broken bridge for flex on frames. So I took my chances. They called as soon as they received the frames and even suggested I replace the pads (which were very old). They replaced the bridge within hours of receiving my glasses and I received my fixed frames 2 days later. Excellent service and highly recommend them. I would not hesitate to work with them again in case my frame needs repair.

So PLEASED with this company and their 5***** stellar service and repair. When my very pricey sunglasses broke, I couldn't bear the thought (or expense) of having to buy new ones so was happy to find All American Eyeglass Repair on-line. I had a nose pad mounting arm that broke off from the frame on a set of prescription reading glasses. I was able to mail the glasses to All American Eyeglass Repair, they did an excellent job of repairing the glasses, and they mailed the glasses back to me. Turnaround time was three days and the total cost was $60. The staff was very friendly and helpful on the phone. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

I sat on my RayBans and broke both temples. Found All American Eyeglass Repair on the web. With a company name as great as that, I had to give them a call to see if they could fix them. Rick said it was no prolem. Rick had to order the OEM temples from Italy. 2 weeks later, I’m wearing my RayBans again. Like new!! They were a gift from my wife and really bummed-me out when I ruined them. AAER and Rick put me back to being Mama’s favorite man!!

Update: Needed Aki again in a pinch - I must have same day repair, because I can't work without these magnifying glasses. He completed a difficult repair for me in under 2 hours on a busy Monday. The fee was reasonable as always. This was my second time using All American to repair my important specialty work glasses - 1st time welding the bridge last year (holding great) and this time welding the ear piece. I needed a quick and effective turn around, and they executed perfectly, each time performing same day repairs. The repairs are strong and esthetically pleasing. He even graciously waited a bit past closing time when I was stuck in traffic returning for the pickup. Reasonable cost and friendly service - I wouldn't use anywhere else.

I thought for certain my titanium frames were irreparably damaged. Wrong. Within an hour, my broken frames were laser-welded, and the mend was almost invisible. Total cost - about $60. In contrast, I have a previous repair on the same pair of glasses done by another outfit using an older process. The repair is obvious, with excess 'solder' material showing. (see photo) I also purchased some clip-ons from All American, and I am not so impressed with those, but for eyeglass repair, they ROCK!

I stopped by at 4:50p and was told to return in an hour and was amazed that the repair was made in such a short period of time. They had to laser-weld new metal prongs onto the bridge of my glasses. I used the mail in service because my nosepad arms were broken. They had to drill new holes and put in new arms, and few other repair services do this. They fixed them on the day they arrived and promptly sent them back. I love my repaired glasses, and they're so comfortable again. Very pleased. I would recommend them to anyone who needs repairs.

The experience was nothing short of amazing. I went all over my town to find someone who could replace/repair my frames. The lenses were fine. They ALL tried to sell me into getting another eye exam AND buying a new set of frames. I thought this was ridiculous. Then I discovered All American Eyeglass Repair. I followed their instructions on packing and mailing my broken glasses (a short video), and within three days, I received them back - repaired. After spending $600 on a pair of eyeglass frames that I didn't love because my previous ones broke, and were also discontinued, I found out about All American Eyeglass Repair. After sending my old glasses off in the mail, which I was skeptical of, a guy named Rick called me back and could not have been more helpful. In less than a week I had my old frames back. So instead of paying $600 bucks in the first place, I should have only had to pay $68. My Dr's office told me that the frames could not be fixed. Go figure.

AAER did a fantastic job repairing and replacing my broken spring hinge... when the store from whom I bought my glasses (Pearle Vision) said it couldn’t be done and I therefore had to buy an entire new frame. I called AAER and explained the issue, and was encouraged to send them my glasses so they could take a look. I shipped my glasses via USPS priority mail on a Wednesday and on Saturday received a call from AAER saying they had and could repair my glasses immediately for just $49 (vs. $199 for a new frame). On Wednesday, the fully repaired glasses were back in my hands. So, just 7 days, $66 all-in to ship, fix and return, and they look and feel like new! Amazing...

After searching the web for a reputable company to send my glasses to I came across All American Eyeglass repair. Initially, I was nervous because other companies I came across didn’t have the best reputation, but I called and a man by the name of Glenn answered, told him what I needed repaired and I was able to send pictures to confirm whether they can be fixed. Needless to say they were able to be repaired. I shipped them off and once they received the glasses they repaired and shipped the glasses that same day! I had them back in a couple days! I have two pairs of Silhouette Titan glasses and accidentally broke both temples. The progressive lens was fine. My optometrist said they cannot be repaired, and that the same model frame was not available; hence I needed to buy two completely new sets of frames and lens ~1400. The best online experience ever! Called on a Tuesday to verify their ad which stated glasses could be sent in for repair with same day service. (I didnt believe it). But an actual person answered the call, and assured me it was true. He asked my location then told me where to send them. I mailed them and received a call that the other side was going bad and could be fixed for another $20. Told them to fix both and they were back by Friday repaired as promised at the quoted price of under $50. Have never experienced such high quality of service!

When an earpiece broke at the hinge, I thought my bifocals were history. They were only a little over a year old but out of warranty. Replacing them would literally have cost me the trip I was planning to Iceland. Then I remembered All American Eyeglass Repair about 10 minutes away. In just a couple of hours, they replaced both earpieces and nose pads and cleaned the frames and lenses for about an eighth of what it would have cost me to have replaced the glasses. Iceland, here I come!

These guys were lifesavers. I am totally disabled without my glasses. It wouldn't be safe for me to walk around a busy area of the city, let alone drive without my glasses. None of the so called "same day emergency" optometrist / glasses shops could help me with anything before the end of next week and all said that repairs would be out of the question in my case. All American Eyeglass Repair not only fixed the earpiece that had totally broken off and made it sturdier than before, they replaced the other ear piece which had bent over time (causing the glasses to be crooked) and it's also better than new and more durable than before. This as all done at a fair price and within an hour before their shop was going to close.

Way beyond my expectation. I stepped my glasses and one of the titanium arms broke off. They provided me two options to either weld it back or replace the arms with a new stainless steel pair that looked extremely similar to my orinigal ones. Either way would cost more or less the same ($60-70) and I chose the latter. It was done in 2 hours and when I was back, my glasses looked like a new one. I was very satisfied by the fantastic service, the reasonable price and the efficient communication. Would definitely come again if necessary but I hope I would not step on my glasses again

First time customer. Originally had taken my glasses to my optometrist, and they were unable to repair them. They gave me a business card for All American Eyeglass Repair. I dropped my glasses off to be repaired, and was told it would be about 90 minutes to repair them. Within 45 minutes my glasses were fixed and I was on my way. I am really hard on my eyeglasses and I have progressives so they are very expensive to replace. No optical store or optician will touch them, I don't think they know how to fix glasses anymore, or maybe they just want you to buy new ones. I have sent multiple frames to Rick at American Eyeglass Repair and they fix the hinges immediately. I had my glasses back within a week. The last time I had my glasses back in two days, and they are coming from Ohio to NY. One time they called me up and told me that the other hinge was about to break as well. They saved me time and hassle and fixed both. I don't know what I would do without them. I appreciate such great work and caring! They know how important your glasses are to you.

My frames had a stripped screw, and when I went to the place I had originally bought them for an adjustment, they told me they couldn't tighten them any more and I'd need to get new ones. I looked up glasses repair shops to get the screw replaced instead, and went with All American based on their reviews. I'm glad I did! He was very friendly, and took out the screw at the front counter to show me it might be one of two problems, and what each one would cost. I waited about five minutes while he took my glasses to the back, and he came back with the offending screw replaced. Doing that tightened my glasses right up, and now they fit perfectly. He also showed me there's a little warping on the frame from age, which I appreciated. My frames are only about 3 years old, and I'm ready for a new pair, but not when I knew I could hold off on that expense for a little while longer. $10 for a simple repair is far better than the cost and time it would take to find new frames right now. I took my glasses to five shops including the one that sold me the glasses. The glasses had a milky scuffed look. All shops said there was no fix. All American fixed it in one hour...go figure. The removed a failed coating ...they said...much like removing a failed frosting from an otherwise good cake. They've been in that location for years...because they do great work.

I've had my eye glasses for 11 years. I constantly wear them and they were in pretty bad shape. They were a mess tons of dirt and build up, crooked frames, worn and dirty nose hinges, mismatched screws. We took them in and didn't expect them to be able to do much. The gentlemen that helped us was very kind. He explained what he would be able to do and set our expectation. He said to give him 30min and recommended a spot to take our kids for a quick bite to eat. When we returned (30min on the dot) we were so surprised with what he did with my glasses. Not only did he manage to removal all the grimey build up he also replaced all screws, replaced my nose hinges and completely straightened out my frames. I mean these things fit perfect. We will be returning for all our eyeglass repairs as needed. I do want to add that he only charged us $24 compared to the other shops that we called who wanted $30-$50 for the same service.

This was our first visit here. My wife needed her glasses repaired because of a broken hinge. They were able to fix it within an hour! Really! Who offers that kind of service these days? She was so happy because she loves her glasses. They were so friendly and helpful. We love this place and highly recommend it if you need your glasses repaired.

I has stepped on my prescription glasses they broke. I took them to my Vision Center and unfortunately they were unable to repair them. Fortunately they suggested All-American Eyeglass Repair located on Bethel Rd. I went straight there and was greated by Rick. He was very accommodating and personable. He replaced both hinges and temples so they would match. I recieved a call within a couple hours Rick called to inform me they were ready to be picked up. All for 69.00 much better than a new pair that cost over $500.00. I am so grateful for All-American Eyeglass Repair. I was told some repairs cost as little as $15.00! Had a broken spring hinge on a 10-y.o. frame with new progressive lenses. Contacted AAER via email with photo to confirm it's repairable. Over-nighted from VA to Columbus OH. They promptly called to verify receiving the broken frame and set-up payment via an email link. All around AMAZING experience! I had a completely broken temple on my glasses and had superglued, taped, done everything I could to temporarily fix them. Very timely repair. I brought it in at the end of the day on a Saturday and they told me it'd be ready by the end of the day.
