Staff was very helpful, and very friendly. I went super early, and expected to wait till my timer, but they were still able to see me within 10 minutes of arriving. They also have a great selection of glasses. What usually takes me almost an HOUR of looking, only took 15 minutes. Super happy with Accurate Vision! :)

It's a very clean very modern as well. My issue wasn't really until I left. Dr. Smith told me to go to the front desk and sign out so I did and I was standing there waiting for a minute for her to take her eyes off the computer and let me sign out and I asked if I could go and she said yea very rude wouldn't look up at me. I don't think I'll be coming here because of how uncomfortable they made me feel. I have already talked to a manager too they called me the next day after posting this.

Polite, but not qualified to be an optometrist. Dilated my eyes BEFORE doing a vision test - of course this will mess up my prescription. My prescription is very strong, any variance will cause problems. I didn't realize how stupid this was until after I had left and thought about what had happened.

This is the best optometrist clinic I’ve ever been to. The staff was very friendly and courteous and made you feel welcomed. The environment was nice and put you at ease. I cannot get over how modern the equipment was. Dr. Smith is simply the best, I highly recommend him.He was professional and an expert. Large selection of glasses and contacts. I even got a complimentary Kaladi Bros. coffee because my appointment was 10 minutes late. Fast, friendly, and affordable. The doctor is very knowledgeable and the staff is helpful. I was in and out in an hour, and they ran more tests on my eyes than any other place has done in my 20+ years of wearing contact lenses. The office is nothing fancy, which is probably why my bill was $300 less than the last place I visited! I think the $300 savings is well worth compromising with the soothing music, flashy lighting, and $500 frames in the optical shop that were the staples of my last eye doctor's office. My advice: Go here.

I was reading through some of the comments and wanted to make sure I gave my opinion of this agency. I've been going here for the past three years and will not switch. The staff here are all sorts of awesome, and have always been courteous and professional. In the past three years, I've seen the exact same people working in the office each time. That speaks volumes to the management team. There have been times when my wait was a little longer than expected, but the treatment I received more than made up for the wait time. Dr. Crawford is an excellent Dr. He asks many questions to ensure he has a clear picture of what you are experiencing. Thank you so much to all the staff at Accurate Vision. You guys rock!!!

My wife came in here to have her eyes checked because she called beforehand and they told her it is common to get window tint prescription and she felt like the doctor didn’t care or believe that she has eye problems and no tint because he didn’t want to get sued and sunglasses would be better but she almost crashed because the tint is now off of our car and the sunglasses made it worse. Not to mention they made her feel really uncomfortable here when she was leaving. Will never come here.

I wouldn't recommend this place. For one, they don't take the time to really evaluate your eyes, they rush through everything and basically say you're fine because they want to get you out of there as soon as possible. The doctor is a very nice handsome man but honestly he's not that good of a optical doctor. He said my eyes were fine.. a different doctor said my eyes are borderline glaucoma and now I have eye problems,he also mis-diagnoses. The old woman at the glasses section is rude and tries to make decisions for you when choosing you're OWN glasses! tf? Definitley go to a different place.

I saw Dr. Blower, and she was great. I would give her 5 stars. Gave me her professional, unbiased opinion on my eye exam, retinal health mapping, and contact lens exam. I guess it was her last day of work before retiring, and she handed off my exam file to Dr. Crawford. Dr. Crawford disregarded his former associates professional opinion and decided that he could not get me into the same brand of contact lenses that I have been wearing for 5 years comfortably. He did this without ever putting one finger or piece of equipment to my eye. Without even meeting me! How unprofessional is that! I'm disgusted by this type of business practice, and my recommendation to the public is to go somewhere.

Was 15 minutes early to my apointment for my daughter. It took them TWO HOURS to get out of their office due to some pretty obvious overbooking. When I had sat there for 25 minutes past my scheduled apointment time and informed them I had other apointments to get to, their receptionist acted like I should have expected the delay because she had informed me she was "squeezing in my daughter" when I made the apointment. This could not be further from the truth. I would have made an apointment on another day, or another time, or with another doctor. When we were finally seen by the doctor it was over an hour-and-a-half past our scheduled apointment time- effectively making us late to apointment number two. We won't be back.

I moved across town and wanted to find a more convenient optometrist. After checking out a few nearby websites, I decided to give Accurate a try. The facility was quite nice, staff friendly/helpful, and the doctor was excellent as well. However, they charge an extra $90 out of pocket on top of the insurance-covered exam to write a contact lens prescription and neither of my past two optometrists charged extra for that. The experience was wonderful, however I have a hard time feeling it is worth an additional $90 cash for the annual exam. Great practice, but I think the pricing was a bit out of line.

For years this was my go to shop. I loved the staff and I was always able to find amazing frames. Then I learned that Roz, my main reason for going there, was let go (forced into retirement) after a lengthy illness of her husband. Following his death, Roz returned to work only to be informed that a “retirement” party was being planned for her. Now, I went back year after year because I loved the two ladies who helped with finding glasses. My friends and family also went there because they adored the two ladies. Following the forced “retirement” of Roz, her partner in crime left Accurate Vision because she could not accept the way Roz was treated after all of her years of dedication to the company. I will NEVER return to Accurate Vision and I strongly encourage people to stay as far away as possible. Treating a long time dedicated team member who was responsible for a large part of their clientele is just not acceptable. My money will be spent elsewhere...... I will be following Roz’s protege..... But first I will find where she has gone. Never again Accurate Vision!!! NEVER!

This is my first visit to a vision clinic of any sort.The paperwork was online so I already had that completed when I walked in the door, the receptionists were friendly, I was seen by a doctor within 5 minutes. The testing of my eyes and procedures were done efficiently. I received my glasses within a week and a half. I had a phone discussion today with the receptionist about bifocals and am awaiting a chat with the doctor. I like the way this place does business and makes me feel like my needs are being met. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Accurate Vision is definitely the Eye Doctor for you! One of the hardest things to find today are honest and genuine doctors who are passionate of about ones health and well-being and here at Accurate Vision I can guarantee all your worries are put to rest. My vision has been deteriorating over time and because my cornea is not at (as I would say) a cheap rate, cost of specially made contact lenses from RGP to Torics or ridiculously large glasses became burdensome instead of necessity. I’m pretty sure there a lot of us out there that has gone through this in life, when we just can’t bear the cost of our contacts so we stretch out the duration of a pair just to get us by yet increasing more risk to our eyes. One thing I can definitely say this year is that I’ve been blessed to have received the care that I did from, Dr. Crawford. I’m blessed to have crossed path with someone who didn’t just look for an easy fix, but invested his time and passion to research my case to provide me with the best solution available. In my case the best solution was to take on something completely new and somewhat frightening at first - wearing contacts called Sclera lens. But Dr. Crawford didn’t just hand them over and require me to learn the process and care of them, but he patiently and enthusiastically walked me through the steps and process, made adjustments that he knew were best for me, and that kind of act alone, was assurance to me that everything was going to work out for my good. Sclera Lens have given me a new set of eyes, I can’t even remember when was the last time I can say I have had a good pair of eyes or contacts Don’t let anyone tell you differently, don’t settle for less, you can get your vision back to how it used to be, it just needs to be put in the right hands and care. Invest your time and money in an eye doctor you know finds joy in bringing hope and well-being to his patients, I guarantee, Dr. Crawford is the Optometrist for you. Who would have thought, Sclera Lenses would give me the best result I’ve been searching for in years. Head on down to Accurate Vision if you’re in the town of Anchorage or Alaska, this is one visit you won’t regret!
