They were incredibly nice and helpful. They are very welcoming when you first walk in and when you leave. If you have any problems or questions just give them a call and they will do their best to help you. Plus they have a pretty nice selection of glasses if your in the market.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hodgson for many years and he has always been very thorough with my examinations, and when he discovered I was in the beginning stages of glaucoma, he referred me to a Dr. in Cheyenne. The specialist in Cheyenne was very impressed with the information he sent to her, and she was also impressed with the equipment he has to use for an in-depth exam.

I would recommend Dr Hodgson to everyone I know. He truly cares about your eye health and seeing your best. You know this from the moment you walk in the door. His staff is quick to say hello and make you feel welcome. Throughout your entire exam you will feel that this is not jusy a quick eye exam. Dr Hodgson takes extra steps to ensure you are recieving a total eye health evaluation. He explains in detail what he is doing during your exam, which in return made me feel more calm and comfortable about my eye exam. After your exam is done he has a large variety of designer eye glasses to choose from. The staff is very knowaledgable about the frames they sell. They take the extra time to help you find what glasses are the best fit for you. I have yet to come across a eye doctor in town that offers a warranty that compare to Frontier Eye Care. Go see Dr Hodgson in my opinion he is the best one in Wyoming.

2Yrs ago they lost our appointments, last year they canceled our appointments and today they tried tried pre billing my mom 68dollars more than she ever had to pay before and her insurance didn't change. My copay is 15 and they tried pre billing me 55 and the brunette with the poodle top bun is completely clueless. If they didn't want us as patients they could have just said so.

Since 2009 I've had very thorough exams, all my silly questions answered, and always been greeted with a friendly hello at my eye doctor and that is because I've been going to Dr. Hodgson. His staff is always very friendly, not to mention they make picking out glasses a very fun and enjoyable experience. Would recommend this office to anyone looking for a new eye doctor.

Our family considers it a true blessing that Dr. Hodgson at Frontier Eye Care is our eye doctor. Both of our sons have a degenerative, genetic eye disease, which has resulted in both of them being legally blind, and for years we were told glasses/contacts would not improve their vision. However, Dr. Hodgson agreed to see our youngest son to determine if something could be done and discovered that he is near-sighted, which means the existing vision he has is clarified when wearing contacts/glasses. Long story short, with corrective lenses...instead of seeing 20/200, our son can now see 20/80 (for his distance vision), which is more than he (and his parents) ever thought possible! Thanks to Dr. Hodgson and his state of the art equipment, not only has our son's distance vision improved, he also now has his Learner's Permit! Our family highly recommends Dr. Hodgson and his excellent staff at Frontier Eye Care. They are amazing!

Dr. Doug is an amazing optometrist. I've been to several different eye doctors in my 34 years of life and I noticed a huge difference at his practice vs. my previous experiences at other practices. For one, his front desk staff always greet me by name. They wear a smile on their face and it appears genuine. During the exam Doug doesn't ask what are you wearing, and/or suggest keeping you in those products, he always offers the latest and greatest technology. Too many times I have seen an OD and had them ask me what contacts I wear and then proceed to fit me in the same brand even though I couldn't wear contacts comfortably all day long. It makes me wonder why other doctors didn't offer me the best each time I saw them. Doug asked me what my needs were and what I'd like to improve about my contact lens experience. I feel like part of his family vs. being just a number. Simply put the staff and doctor at Frontier Eye Care care about my needs and concerns and addressed both. They made me feel welcome. They improved my day to day contact lens experience. They had my best interest in mind, not theirs. I CAN NOT STRONGLY RECOMMEND FRONTIER EYE CARE ENOUGH. Tell your friends, family and neighbors about this doctor who cares. You will not be displeased.

I went to Frontier Eye Care today for the first time and had a great experience. The office and equipment is state of the art. The staff was friendly and I felt that Dr. Hodgson gave me a very thorough exam. After the exam was finished, Brenda, one of the opticians helped me find some new glasses as well as some new sunglasses. She even calculated the different scenarios to determine which pair of glasses I should submit to insurance to save me more money, which I really appreciated. I was on vacation in Casper from Norway and realized I didn't bring enough contact lenses with me. I went to this place and explained my situation and they were extremely helpful, they took me in between patients right away and gave me a prescription and some free trial lenses, they also recommended a different brand to me as the ones I was wearing was not very comfortable, the new brand was so amazing I couldn't even feel I was wearing contacts. Helpful and nice staff. 5 stars and highly recommend.

My girlfriend asked me to help her take her children to their eye appointments. None of us has been to Frontier Eye Care before. To be honest we picked this place because they were willing to bill the kids insurance for their exams. My girlfriend said when she called to ask if they were taking new patients the employee on the phone was very helpful, even after she found out their insurance was from the state. Never once did we feel embaressed due to our insurance. The waiting room is comfortable with refreshments and Ipads for the kids. So waitting for your turn as a child is fun. One of her kids needed new glasses. They had a nice selection of frames for her to choose from. This was a great experence for us.
