My first visit to the Clinic due to irritation in my right eye. I was never told that the total time needed for the procedure would be as long as two hours. If I had been told that, I wouldn't have scheduled another appointment at 1p. This was a busy day with many patients being shuffled about. Did they overbook? Although I did find out what was wrong with my right eye, I left with no written information at all, for example--what is my vision now?? What exactly did you find?? What do you suggest?? Although Dr. Farhi gave the verbal instructions, I like it better when it is written down for medical records. I have been an RN and Respiratory therapist for greater than 30 years. I am used to working with doctors. I felt when Dr. Farhi said "You're not going to be a difficult patient?."..I had no idea what she meant. The place seemed too unorganized for me to feel totally comfortable; but I'm totally not unsatisfied.

Cataract surgery on both eyes for my SO. Great results. Everything went smoothly and the procedure was explained to us clearly. Felt like he got the very best care. Thanks Dr. Farhi.

She did a great job with my dads cataract surgery. He could see very little due to the blur from his cataract and he said after his surgery it was a game changer for him and he credits Dr. Fahri for that. She also has an excellent disposition and works well with older people. 5 stars all the way.

Dr. Farhi was excellent. She is busy, but takes the time to talk to you and definitely spends time to check everything that needs to be checked. She doesn’t take any shortcuts or make you feel like you’re a number. I am not an ophthalmologist, but based on my interaction with her I trust her knowledge and skill set. I would recommend her.

Dr. Farhi provided excellent care when I experienced a case of shingles behind my right eye. The vision in that eye was almost gone before I was seen by her. I had to be hospitalized for 5 days and Dr. Farhi was constantly checking in on me during my stay. She never stopped caring for me even though a hospital doctor was assigned to my case while I was an inpatient. I must also commend her professional care while I was in the emergency room prior to being admitted because it was extraordinary. Even though this optical crisis occurred on a Friday afternoon, Dr. Farhi never left me until she was sure I was stabilized and receiving the correct treatment for my vision. She even brought her own medical instruments from her downtown office because she knew the ER would not have everything she might need. Talk about prepared!!! Since that time months ago, Dr. Farhi has kept a close eye on my condition and insisted on seeing me every six weeks to ensure my eyesight was being properly cared for and so that my recovery would be a success. To this day she continues to see me to gauge the pressure in both my eyes, and provide the proper treatment I still require. I cannot say enough good things about the care and passion that Dr. Farhi exhibits toward me and all her patients in order to ensure our vision is at optimal performance. She spends quality time with everyone and carefully listens to all they have to say in order to ensure she diagnoses optical issues with the utmost skill, sensitivity and knowledge possible. I have never met a doctor in any profession that has more knowledge, skill, and passion for her field, than does Dr. Farhi. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any person needing a vision specialist that truly devotes her time and energy to ensuring patients receive the quality care that their eyes demand. She is truly one of the best medical vision specialists anyone could hope to have as his/her ophthalmologist. She is no doubt a 5-star professional!

My mom went to see her for an infection in her eyelid. Not only did the doctor say "i hate preforming this procedure", but my mom felt that she was not reassuring or supportive (as my mom was so scared, she was trembling.) She cut into my mom's eyelid without giving her any calming medication to help. She numbed it but said that the numbing may not work due to the pus. I wish she had just said that this procedure was out of her skill range, as my mom felt she butchered her eyelid. I'm sure she's wonderful at other procedures, but my mom felt she really messed up her eye and caused a lot of unnecessary pain.
