I ended paying a lot out of pocket (~$350) because they didn't mention the tests that they did were not covered by my insurance even after I asked them before the appointment. I did the same test with the different doctor but he did'nt charge anything extra. The Doctor looked at my previous records and prescribed the same set which I'm pretty sure isn't the case, That's why I went to a different doctor and they gave me the right prescription, It's a waste of money and time for me. I would not go back to him again.

I took my dad to Dr. Kenny for a check up, I liked his approach a lot, I have seen OD's around the country, from really fancy to average ones, But Dr. Kenny is an exception and hence I made an appointment for myself and was very pleased. being a Dentist myself I can tell you for a certain you wont go wrong going to Dr. Kenny.

Excellent doctor and office. Dr. Kenny really cares about his patients, and the front desk staff is super helpful in everything. I have seen Dr. Kenny for eye exams for a few years as well as pre/post lasik exams. I plan to keep seeing him for my yearly eye exams.

Honestly, everything about this place was a disaster. I had been a happy patient under the previous ownership, so thought I would give them a try. Everything was a mess. They charged me fees they didn’t disclose when I asked over the phone, they put a rush on my new glasses and then never called (even after weeks) to tell me my glasses had arrived, they said they would ship my contacts and never did, and their outgoing message even says the wrong hours! Not sure if these are just new clinic growing pains, but they were miserable to work with and i’d go elsewhere. I hope this helps you make your decision.

I wanted to buy sunglasses and they had a very small collection. They said they can procure any pair for me so I gave them a model number and size. It has been over a month. I dont have any sunglasses. No follow-ups, no callbacks as promised every time i call. You can assume the rest. I recently moved to Bellevue. I was in India before April this year. Yours is the first eye care store I visited in Bellevue.

I visited Binyon Family Eyecare in the past 5 years. Prime location in Bellevue so it's very convenient. I met a different optometrist every time but it doesn't concern me - after all, I just need a prescription to refill my contact lenses every year. In 5/2019 I came back for another annual check up, only found out at the end that Binyon refuse to give me prescription for biweekly Acuvue Oasys which I have been using for almost 20 years. From their reply - "per office policy, we only prescribe daily disposable contact lenses". I wish I knew this then I can go somewhere else. If you are planning to visit them, you should probably think about what to ask first.

Nice staff but don't seem competent. I'd gone in for eye exam and ordered lens and glasses. After I got them I immediately could tell they didn't seem right. My vision was distorted, which I'm used to when getting new prescriptions but this way more than normal. I tried to explain that to staff but they told me I'd get used to it. I tried for another month but it never got better and when I came in to make sure the prescription was done correctly, they said it was fine but didn't offer me any alternatives other than just get used to it. I went to another optometrist this year and had my eyes examined again and their prescription for me was different and when I got my lenses I could tell it was immediately much better and I adjusted in less than a week with progressives, which also were much better. Overall, I don't feel like my issue was treated with care or concern or that they tried to help me fix the issues.

I wish I had found this place years ago. The staff was extremely warm and welcoming, as well as being highly knowledgeable about their area of responsibilities. The Doctor is the most thorough eye doctor I've ever seen, and I've been wearing glasses for over 30 years. He is not a speedy examiner! If speed is important, take that into consideration. The trade off, in my opinion, is more than worth it. I'd rather have a doctor take his time and get the prescription correct (something my last doctor didn't do; only saw him once, and good riddance). I'd highly recommend these guys, apart from the speed caveat.

Never feel hurried, always feel I am getting excellent care. Has referred me to other awesome specialists when necessary. Staff are always personable, attentive and organized! High recommend.
