If you need cataract surgery I highly recommend Dr. Niraj Patel. I have referred friends and family members in addition to having the procedure myself. If you choose Dr. Patel you will be in excellent hands. My brother-in-law no longer wears glasses. He is so happy! My mother was frightened to have cataract surgery but so relieved and happy to see all the colors again. Dr. Patel pioneered lens replacement for vision correction and has a stellar reputation in Seattle and Tacoma.

I have been going to Pacific Northwest Eye for about 20 years. My first doctor retired and now I have Dr. Pham. He always works miracles with my eyes. He has other test run before I see him and to me it is amazing how many new machines they have to help improve eyesight. Dr. Pham takes his time and answers any questions I have. I drive a long way to get to the facility so I like a bit of time to use the restroom, read the paper, or work on puzzles, before I see the doctor. I have been wearing glasses since I was 5 and at 75 I got my first driver's license that didn't require lenses. I am very happy with Pacific Northwest Eye Associates.

The people at this place are very aggressive. I was trying to snap some pictures of frames I liked but the salespeople didn't like it and accused me of taking pictures of them. Then I waited in line to make an appointment but they just stood there glaring at me instead of helping the receptionist, 4people in line. I decided I didn't want to shop there anymore and left. I was standing outside video chatting my boyfriend and they came out and started taking pictures of me. Tried to confront me. Wow. Terrible customer service which is sad because there was some kind of event happening and I actually liked the frames. Won't be going back.

This place is ridiculous. The receptionist didn’t check me in properly so I waited 40 minutes, then after asking when I would be seen, then they made me wait an additional 10 minutes to be called back. And this appointment was just a 5 minute follow up to get my contact prescription. Then DR. CEGLIA wrote an INCORRECT PRESCRIPTION for my contacts, so when I went to order them, the optical center I went to told me that the prescription did not exist for the brand of contacts she gave me. Upon calling the office, the receptionist sounds extremely bothered to guide me to someone that could help. When I finally talk to someone, they tell me I have to go through yet another trial pair of contacts to make sure they are the correct prescription. So, DR. CEGLIA doesn’t even know what my prescription actually is..... will most definitely not be returning to this incompetent place.

Highly recommended. Had cataract surgery for both eyes about 2013. I included the TORIC lens option for stigmatism correction at additional cost $$ - Medicare did not cover the TORIC option. I have since returned for another eye exam. fyi update: Less than one year after the cataract surgery reflection and circular edges of the lenses disappeared - the brain had to adapt to the lenses. Great doctor and great staff. State-of-the-art equipment. My wife just had a 2018 exam with a new prescription. She is very pleased.

We were concerned when our regular ophthalmologist quit her practice, but the transition has been smooth. On my latest call the wait time was brief, technician Elena was efficient and very helpful. The equipment appears up to date and the staff is courteous. Although I arrived early, I was in and out in less than an hour. I'll be back.

People BE AWARE This office doesn't know how to handle job related injury cases. After I gave them my case # and all the information about my case. They still charging me $175.00 from a year and 2 months ago. If I would had known that they don't know what to do about job related injury cases I wouldn't had never scheduled an appointment at this office. Update: I left a message 2 days they never returned my call. I called today and the billing department told me they don't have my information and I have to provide all my information again really after a year and 2 months ago? What kind of billing department is that?? I'll pay $175.00 and share my horrible experience.

My new ophthalmologist, Dr. Cheung, was extremely helpful and recommended cataract surgery prior to changing my prescription lenses. Looking forward to getting my new "Mark 1 eyeballs". It's now about eight weeks since my cataract surgery on both eyes. Right eye was two weeks after the left eye and both eyes are doing great. Final check is coming up and suspect everything will be terrific.

I have used the services of Pacific Northwest since I moved here from the East Coast two years ago. They have been very helpful in scheduling appointments, in dealing with changes and efficient in their care. More to the point, they have not been given to any unnecessary testing or action. Also, on my first visit, I took my grandson who had what I could see was an eye infection that was only worsening. They correctly diagnosed it as more than just an infection, and set him up with required surgical treatment that I believe has saved the sight in that eye. This is the professional care that one should expect and that we have received from Pacific Northwest Eye Associates.

This place is an EXTREME Rip Off!! They Do Not give accurate price information or accurate information regarding what insurance they take. Just to see an optometrist for a routine well eye exam costs double what other places in town cost. Even with thorough inquiry beforehand and paying cash at the time of service, I didn't find out the truth of what they were "Really" charging until receiving an additional unexpected bill. BUYER BEWARE - Another of my family members had a similar bad experience. you can go across the street and see a Real Ophthalmologist, get fair and honest treatment and information, for less money!

My advise is to ask if they do and have you sign or don't do something and don't have you sign what is it going to cost you. Because you will be the one paying. I took my mother to see Dr. Cheung this spring and we had an excellent experience. When I needed to get an updated prescription for contacts that I have worn for over 20 years I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Cheung. At no time prior to my appointment was there any mention of "extra" out of pocket fees. In the paperwork that I filled out at the time of appointment there was a paper regarding "fitting fees" for contacts (how to wear them, making sure they fit, etc.) I asked the receptionist about it when I turned in my paperwork, again telling her that I have been wearing the same brand of lenses for 20+ years. She said because I was a new patient in the clinic I would have to pay the $130 fee (in addition to what they would be getting from my insurance.) I have never had such a fee and I told her I was not willing to pay that much for a service I did not need so I did not keep the appointment. Had I been told when I scheduled the appointment about the fees I would not have scheduled and wasted my time and a trip across town.

I was pleased with the technician who recorded my status and checked out my eyes and glasses. Afterwards, I had to wait ONE HOUR before I saw the dr., and then only for 5 minutes. His demeanor was one of get in and get out as fast as possible, perfunctory checking my eyes, as little dialogue with me as necessary, and when I asked questions, he acted perturbed and impatient that I would delay him. I am not impressed with this office and will be searching for a new ophthalmologist who acts like he/she is interested in my eye health and taking the time to answer my questions or address my concerns.

They get very busy i took me two hours to get done they do not have prices on thete frames so it is a guessing game how much they will cost in the end there selection of frames are not the greatest it is not worth the two hour wait so if there is another place you can get better frames and get seen faster i suggest you try there first
