I had cataract surgery with Dr. Neatrour in April and it was not successful! Three days after surgery, I called the afterhours emergency number and was told "not to worry, it was normal" for my vision to still be blurry after 3 days. I went into the office Monday and Dr. Jain looked in my eye and reported there were lens particles behind my retina and to follwup with Dr. Neatrour in 2 days. At this point, he said there was nothing he could do. When I saw Dr. Neatrour, I informed him I was basically blind in the eye that he did surgery on. When asked what he could do to restore my vision, he said he couldn't do anything. He admitted cortex debri and lens debri had gotten behind my retina and he couldn't do anything to restore or repair my vision! I was referred to a retina specialist for followup for more surgery! I've had the surgery, but continue to have vision problems and light sensitivity. The retina specialist said my vision will gradually improve over the next several months!
I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with Dr. NEATROUR'S treatment toward me after I confronted him about the botched surgery. He said he was "covered" by the paperwork i had signed before surgery. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. His attitude toward me was poor after i confronted him about the surgery going wrong.
