First and foremost, Dr. Keshava’s team at Central Vermont Eye Care provide top notch service and are known across the continental US. As a matter of fact when I was traveling back to New York from Florida I had a conversation with a couple on my flight that spoke highly of an eye doctor/surgeon in Vermont. I asked if it was Dr. Keshava by chance; they replied with a big smile and said “yes as a matter of fact”!! Hands down the patient care that is provided by this office is top notch and is known to be at that level by many. Way to go Vermont Eye Care Center and continue providing that top-notch care!!

I called to get the prescription for contacts. Because I didn't follow up they won't verify the prescription. I'm half a day away from the place and won't be back for an extended amount of time. The person I talked to was not convinced I needed further help nor did her acting show real sympathy. Tongue clicks don't mean you actually care. I understand these are just contacts but I am nearsighted.

I am a former patient of Dr. Kelly and Dr. Herzon. When they retired I started seeing Dr. Keshava. Then, all of a sudden, he was too busy to see me so I started seeing his wife Tina. I suffered an injury to my left eye as a child and have very low vision in that eye. I've worn glasses all my life and no longer drive. My right eye is only slightly better. I've had this problem since I was three years old. Tina was flummoxed by my eye condition and I was in her office for over 4 hours one day taking a myriad of tests. Some of the tests she performed were not covered by my insurance. She insisted I return in 3 months for the same battery of very expensive tests. Then, I saw Dr. Ormsbee for my nerve damage. He also was flummoxed and ordered a battery of tests insisting I return soon for the same tests. Again, insurance would only pay for some. I realize they are running a business but ordering expensive tests repeatedly is not medically necessary nor is it ethical. I'm currently seeking another provider.
