Absolutely unacceptable customer service. When I arrived there were 3 receptionist talking amongst themselves, and I waited close to 5 minutes before they decided to break up their conversation and check me in. That I get put into a room for OVER an hour without anybody checking in to let me know how much longer I have to wait. I had to leave the room, keep in mind I had been sitting there one hour and ten minutes, and look for someone to ask how much longer I would be waiting. I understand doctors get behind. However if your doctor is going to be over an hour behind it is imperative to communicate with your patients so they know what can be expected. I will certainly never return to this clinic. There needs to be some serious training on basic customer service skills.

This was my first experience with optometry, seeing as I have fairly good eyesight. I needed a general eye exam to see if I needed reading glasses. I came on time, did all the paperwork... They forgot to check me in, so I waited an extra hour, and then they kept switching the rooms I was in. My doctor, Dr. Haggard, was a little too "nice"... He kept calling me gorgeous and touching my hands and legs without consent. Obviously I felt very uncomfortable with this and if I ever have to check my eyes again, I will be going to Costco. Making comments about my appearance and touching any part of my body is NOT acceptable and Dr. Haggard should be talked to about this behavior and reprimanded (at the very least), as I found a comment from 2 YEARS AGO that mentioned advances made by Dr. Haggard. Obviously he hasn't changed much, and that other comment leads me to believe that other women have been under the same type of treatment with him. Unwelcome sexual advances are terrible for your company, so I would be very active in dealing with this type of behavior. Not just this, but the lady who helped me pick out glasses was condescending about what I needed in my glasses, and wouldn't let me choose what I wanted. OVERALL I do NOT recommend coming to this place for eye services.

I've been to many eye doctors since my early days in the Army when my eyes betrayed me. Quite frankly, the doctors and staff at Utah Valley Eye Center are far and away better than any other practice I've been to. I started seeing Dr. Bird when he joined the group, and then was handed over to Dr. Lloyd when my eyeballs were attacked by alien cataracts (good story start, eh?). I am extremely happy that I had the cataract surgery and even happier that Dr. Lloyd performed it. I recommend Dr. Lloyd to everyone when the subject of cataracts come up. Even relatives in Davis County. It's worth it to go to the best. You simply can't go wrong using this group to care for your eyes.

Extensive selection of frames. Very friendly staff who were very respectful and kind. No pressure at all during visit. They also give a 30% Military Discount. So even if you aren't Military, you can rest easy knowing they support the Military. The prices were excellent compared to other places. Very competitive! Adult/kid female and male frames!! They also have an eye exam office five feet from their office!! Laura aided me and was very exceptional with her care and kindness! If you're looking for new glasses, look no further!!

I have been a patient here for almost a decade and have been totally happy with their service. About 2 weeks ago, I started seeing 'halos' and was very concerned that I might have a major vision problem. I called them and my doctor was out sick that day. But, they arranged to have me come in within the hour and see another doctor, who examined me, including taking pictures of the interior of my eyes. They were very complete and very gentle with me. After the very detailed exam of my eyes, they assured me that there was nothing serious and there was no charge for this emergency visit. They will be my eye doctors for life.

Beautifully remodeled. Features an impressive collection of original James Christensen paintings and an on-site optical center. (I’ve been fitted for glasses there in the past and have been pleased with the results.) Friendly, patient, and attentive staff. Very thorough exam. Dr. Haggard is personable and took the time to go over my vision changes and overall eye health, as well as the current eye research (e.g., if you’re staring at a device/computer screen, take a 3-minute break once every 20 minutes where you focus on a distant object). Dr. Haggard also made sure I had contacts to test out for comfort and vision before ordering my own year’s supply.

This rating is just for the glasses shop; I just think they're super slow and not that conscientious. I stopped by there today to check on insurance information requirements and waited for half an hour before I gave up and left. No one ever spoke to me or acknowledged me in any way. Last time I got a pair of glasses there I also waited quite a while for service, and then when they were helping me, they did put on more pressure than made me comfortable about upgrading the glasses with coatings and so forth. I think they try to put on some trappings of customer service, with smiles and talking to you for a long time, but I don't get a sense of genuine care.
