Best ophthalmologist in cache valley!

Dr. Nilson is an incredible surgeon. I had a “white cataract” and a coupe of other issues that made my case more difficult than the average cataract removal. He also knew that because this was my first eye surgery I was extremely nervous. He reassured me as we went into the OR and continued to do so throughout the surgery, making me completely at ease. His staff is also as professional and committed to empathy as he is. I highly recommend him.

BEST EYE DOC EVER! Cant say enough about the level of care from this Dr. My son was taken to the ER several years ago with an eye injury. Dr Nilson was called in on a Sunday to consult and we ended up seeing him every day for a week, then every other day for another few weeks.. 1st he was very empathetic towards my son and the treatment was exceptional. 2cnd His bill was less then the ER when all they where able to do was make the phone call to Dr. Nilson and we did not have ins. 3rd He gave us his cell number to call if we had another emergency. Today my son injured his other eye, I grabbed my phone to call his office and ended up calling his cell, he answered and I explained that my kid was once again in the ER with an eye injury... This time was not as bad and the ER treated him and sent him home.. later in the evening Dr. Nilson called just to check on him since he hadn't heard back from us or the ER... Just a very personable, professional, caring person! I highly recommend him to everyone!!

Dr. Nilson and his staff are simply the best. They were so pleasant, positive, and professional through the whole process of removing the cataracts in both of my eyes. I really appreciated their clear and thorough explanations during the whole process.

Dr. Nilson is the best! He treated my daughter for a clogged tear duct. He and his staff took great care of us during our visit. He is so personable. My daughter had a probe and irrigation procedure and it went so smooth. I highly recommend him.
