Having my eyes poked has never been so fun! Dr. Schmutz is great and has a cute technician! 10 out of 10 would recommend!! Even if you have perfect vision, go and feel like a hero as you answer all their questions right!

Consumer beware! I bought glasses, my cost AFTER insurance was $680. They didn’t have much selection, which I didn’t think would be a problem! I did make sure to ask if these frames would handle my prescription, you assured me they would! The frames lasted TWO months! Thought, okay, maybe a defect, took them back in, they were under warranty! No problem. HOWEVER, to replace “defective” frames there was a “restocking fee of $25. Wasn’t too happy, but I need to see! NOT EVEN TWO MONTHS, same break, this is the NEW pair! I treated them as if they were glass! Guess what, it will be ANOTHER “restocking” fee. My insurance only covers frames every two years. Can’t afford new frames...hmmm restocking fees every say two months, you can do the math! You apologized, that is very nice of you!You have lost me as a customer! And, I asked you to PLEASE warn others about these crappy frames, because I will be! I was contacted by PROVO Excel Eye Center, Kaitlyn (sp?). She was awesome! She said they take care of their customers! They are going to replace the defective frames. Thank you KAITLYN for taking care of me! I was pretty upset and you have renewed my faith in humanity! PROVO gets 5 stars!!!

Excel Eye Center has provided great, affordable care to me and my family over the years. The new location in Saratoga Springs. It’s close to my parent’s home which makes it easier to go to appointments. This is the only place I’ll get my glasses and contacts. They offer quality products and you can’t short quality when you’re dealing with eyes.

The professionals at this practice are all amazing! Dr. Yeates is very good at his job. He has a way of interacting with my young chidren that puts them at ease. He is treating them thoroughly and we are already seeing amazing progress! My kids and I just adore Brian the optician! He allows us to take our time in search of the perfect style. He is very informative on the quality and durability of the frames and lenses for young children. He is supportive of any concerns and leaves us feeling confident and cared for. The technicians are always kind and friendly every visit. They are a great asset to the doctors and patients. The front desk staff are efficient and helpful with our scheduling needs as well as insurance contact. Thank you Excel Eye center of Saratoga Springs! You make us feel right at home. I went for an eye exam a couple weeks ago and everyone at the office was very kind and patient. Dr Schmutz is very nice and answers any questions you have. Him and his assistant were very patient with the fact that I had a screaming one year old with me during my appointment. It’s really nice to have an office so close to home and not have to make the trip to Lehi or AF. Excel is a great company and treats their patients very well!

We had a great experience at Excel eye! The office was nice and clean and there was a kids movie on for my little ones! The receptionist was so friendly and the wait wasn't very long. Dr. Schmutz is awesome! He took the time explain how my eyes work and seemed to genuinely care about me. The office was clean and had a place for my kids to play. I would recommend Excel Eye Center to anyone! Plus, another doctor at their AF location found that I have astigmatism, which the doctor I'd seen at a different company had missed.

I took my kids to Dr. Ricks yesterday and from start to finish it was a positive experience! The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Both the tech and the doctor did a great job helping my kids feel comfortable with their first time eye exam! Then Brian was very helpful in helping my kids pick out frames that were a good fit and size for them.

This is the place for having your kids eyes checked. Our first appointment today was sp impressive. Dr Yeates is fantastic with kids. He had my somewhat unpredictable 5 year old laughing and not melting down--which I was anticipating happening. Definitely will be coming back! The waiting area is also great for kids. Lots to do and plenty of seating. Almost no wait, we basically walked in and were taken back right away. Friendly, helpful front desk employee.
