The entire practice of retina doctors there are absolutely wonderful, with a wealth of cutting edge medical knowledge and necessary equipment in abundance!! I would highly recommend this practice for their knowledge, concern for their patients, and medical expertise!!!!

Got in at appointment time then waited 1:45 minutes in second waiting area I left without seeing Doctor. Getting skipped by another paitent who showed up an hour later was the last straw.

Extremely professional and efficient practice. All three technicians who dealt with me were courteous and knowledgable, and constantly kept me fully informed about what they were doing. There was minimal waiting time between seeing different technicians. Dr. Holy has a great bedside manner, is a good listener, is obviously very knowledgable in her field, and technically superb. I can honestly say that this is the best patient experience I've had to date.

I was very worried because my vision was much improved after an injection but then started to get blurry again. I went back and forth should I call or not maybe it’s nothing. It was minor but the doctor and staff put me at ease for calling and reassuring me to not take any chances if I have another decrease in vision or eye pain to call without delay. They are all very nice well trained and smile. All those things work wonders on putting a worried patient at ease. Thank you to all and Merry Christmas to all.

Very professional and caring staff. Kept me informed of everything as we went along. I was only expecting an exam but due to bleeding behind my eyes I was given the option of starting treatment right away or coming back. Never felt pressured ans was very comfortable with Dr Chica and the staff. Decided on starting the treatment which he did promptly. Felt no pain, and was over faster than I expected. I went to see Dr. Chica at this office for a second opinion. I was diagnosed by another doctor with a partially detached retina and cataracts. My doctor wanted to do surgery on my eye to correct the retina damage and prior to that happening I wanted to get a second opinion. These folks were extremely nice and also very thorough. If anything ever happened that I could not see my current Eye Doctor again I would definitely go back to see Dr. Chica at retinal consultants. Highly recommend.

I woke up with really blurry vision in my left eye and immediately went to see an optometrist who was exceptionally perplexed as to why I was having serious vision problems at my age, 48. They recommended a retina specialist/ophthalmologist and I began my research on finding the right specialist. I spent several hours researching a bunch of retina specialist in San Antonio. Luckily, my vision went back to normal within 48 hours, but I wanted to know what the cause was. I called and made an appointment and everything went smoothly. Everyone at their office was great. Adrianna up front, Melissa who escorted me to my 1st exam room to Celeste whom I spent most of my time with, to Dr. Holy who performed an exceptionally thorough exam. There was an assistant to Dr. Holy, but I didn’t catch her name, but she was basically taking notes on what Dr. Holy was experiencing during the exam, so I didn’t really interact with her at all. I was paying with cash, and the bill was not cheap, but being able to see is kinda important to me! I was coughing a lot the night before I had the really blurry vision, so we think I either slept on it bad or I might have accidentally bruised my eye while sleeping (it was New Year’s Eve!)
