I heard of this place and even the doctors from my younger brother who had the procedure done. As our eyes are similar? Well. Had it done The staff is courteous and very prompt, they're very knowledgable and thanks to them, I was able to afford this procedure do to finance. Which didn't seem like something most business's would provide During the procedure, my right eye was addressed with out an hitch.and the day after full 20/20 vision. This is why it's not five stars. My left eye. It did ache. And there was a little bit of spotty blood. Obviously after the incision. There's nothing that can be addressed. It still did hurt. My left eye still aches and is very sore. Taking it's time to heal. Where as my right. is doing beautifully. It's more or less around 25/20. Which is fine. Except at night as there's a nimbus when I'm trying to drive. Aside from that? I will recommend them to any one wanting to be free of glasses or contacts

It was a very professional experience. Dr. Frasier answered all my questions and we worked up a plan that allowed me to be able to have distance vision along with close vision without the use of readers. The staff was very professional and friendly. They are also a model of efficiency that I appreciated. Very little wait time. I have gone here for years for all my eye treatment needs. I had an emergency the other morning and didn't have an appt. and took a chance on being worked in. I was treated so well and didn't have to wait an excessive amt. of time. So thankful that I got in because I'd been at the ER with my eye the night before. Dr. Tran fixed me up...he's great!!

The actual eye surgery was great. I am super pleased with how my vision turned out. I am, however, sadly disappointed with the person who handled the payment part. I was told I had to have PRK instead of LASIK, because I had LASIK previously (had it about 18 years ago). When I went for my consultation, I was told the normal pricing for PRK runs between $1500-$2500 per eye. After the consultation, they said they because of my eyesight, mine was going to run the high end, so it would $2500 per eye. My insurance discounts the procedure 15% off normal pricing, and 5% off promotional pricing, so I am expecting it to be discounted 15%. The rep then told me that because I had LASIK before, my insurance would not work on it because they only cover “new eyes.” She could tell I was not pleased with this (because I never saw anything saying this), and said she would do the 5% because of everything I had been through (my first LASIK experience didn’t go well). Jump forward a few weeks and I am checking with my insurance company about the “new eyes” thing. They said they have never heard that, and it doesn’t matter if I had the surgery before. I call KE back, and ask the rep where she found that info. She said she had asked a fellow employee, and that since they had been there a while, they probably knew. So then I mentioned that I confirmed with my insurance, and she said “well we gave you the 5% for promotional pricing anyways.” And I stated that I paid the full $2500/eye, so that wasn’t promotional pricing. She said she didn’t know what the actual pricing would have normally been. I call the insurance back and they say they will look into it. Then the KE rep calls me back the next day and we start arguing. I mention again about paying full price, and she starts coming out with numbers saying the actual pricing would have been higher and that I did get a promotional price. I ask her why she didn’t tell me what the normal prices would have been at the time and she said “I don’t have to!” I then asked why she said the day before she didn’t know what the actual prices would have been, because if she didn’t know it yesterday, how did she know that what she charged me on the day of was a promotional price. Needless to say, we were not able to come to any agreement, and I advised her that I would just let my insurance handle it, because I am done dealing with her. Long rant, I know. But moral of the story, the surgery is great, but make sure you double check with them and your insurance about what actual price breakdowns are, coverages are, and be ready for her to not do her job of actually checking on any of it or knowing it ahead of time.

Seemed like a very very long time waiting after we arrived for our appointment . There was coffee available, that had been cooking on the burner for sometime. I wish I could’ve changed the television station from the real estate channel. The place was clean and comfortable enough, though the chairs began to cut-off the circulation to my lower extremities near the end of the first hour. I’m glad that I took a Sudoku puzzle to focus on. I recommend multiple puzzles or a book to help pass the time.

The whole experience was wonderful. First I had trouble understanding the whole registration process, but the woman who helped me was very patient and answered every question I had (even the ones I repeated) The surgery itself was very quick and everyone in post op was sweet and concerned about my well-being and how I was feeling. About 3 months after surgery and seeing the world clearly again, my local eye doctor was concerned about the pressure in my eyes, called KE and I was scheduled that same day. It took several months to get that problem under control and I saw Dr. Tran on a regular basis in order to monitor it and get it under control. He joked that we were family and that's what it felt like. He was genuinely interested in me. This was the most efficient clinic experience. I was in and out in about 20-30 minutes each time. Everyone here is warm and caring and knowledgeable. I would recommend KE Eye Care in Arlington to EVERYONE that needs to have an eye procedure. Linda

All services offered by KE Eye center are fantastic except the annual paperwork. Instead of having the office print out all the information they already have about you and then you update it if changes have occurred, they make you fill out all forms again by hand. Not even a computer to use or a link so you could fill out at home prior to your visit. They keep telling me that it is because of the insurance companies, however, I do not have to do this at any other Doctor's offices! Every year I complain aabout this and nothing has changed, why?

My experience started out okay at KE Eye Center of Arlington. The front desk receptionist was nice and responsive. Didn’t take me long to be pulled back for my appointment. However, my issues began when I sat in the back waiting room for over an hour after I had my fitting for my contacts. Once I’m finally called back, I have to wait an additional 10 minutes to see a provider and when I do see the provider, their main objective is to rush me out the door because “I’ve been waiting for a long time”. Maybe the forethought had good intentions but for me, rushing me during the most critical part of the visit is not being thoughtful of my time. The damage was done with making me wait an hour. The very least that could’ve been done was the take time with me during the visit with the provider. My second complaint is that my benefits were not explained to me although I was told that they would be. Finally, I was given a contact trial pair that does NOT match my prescription that I was fitted for and was told that I needed to come in for an OV to verify if the trial pair works. I don’t understand how I am given an a trial pair that does not match the Rx strength I tested for, but am expected to pay more money to tell you that it did not work and I need the Rx strength that I ACTUALLY TESTED FOR! Not satisfied at all with this company and not very impressed.

It is actually a pleasure to go to their office knowing you will get appropriate care. Had a 10:20 appointment for a simple follow up, to see if the eyes was heal correctly. We got there for our appointment and check in and waites for about hour before someone call us to back, to the exam room , ask questions and had my husband read the chart with his one eye and ask him to hold open the other one. After that we was told to wait in this wait area and the doctor be with us shortly. We wait 45:00 minutes and then call us and put us in room 101 the assistance saying the doctor would be in shortly. An hour pass and my husband phone ring and it was the assistance of Keeyes asking where are you and he replied I ‘m in the building in room 101, they came to see if he was there than a doctor came 15 minutes later. See look at his eye said it heal good come back in a week and then took us to a different room to see another eye doctor. They all when to lunch and we waited until 1:45, then we got up and left. 3 hours for simple check up. We left without seeing a eyes doctor or settings another appointment. Arlington location bad service, they have more waiting room than doctor. Wrong is wrong how can they fix loosing a patient? Signed Lost and found!

I took my son for an eye test and had a great experience at KE Eye Center. Everyone was very polite and had such a great attitude, except for one person. This one person is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. I am hoping the eye glass prescription will be accurate only bc my son felt they went to fast through the actual test. But he has had 2 other prescriptions which did not work for him and felt the same way about the test- it goes too fast. I believe the team did great and the one lady who was rude and didn't know what she was doing was probably having a bad day. The doctor was awesome :)

The doctors are good, as is the back office staff (medical). The receptionists and cashiers are awful though. They act like you are interrupting them, they do not smile or even look at you. They should remember that if they don't have patients, they don't have a job. Smile! You might feel better.

Total I did 3 lasik eye consults before choosing a place. I did NOT choose nor do I recommend this facility. They were very clean and a grand fancy building... but the girl who called me back and helped me was also the girl who made my appointment over the phone. Upon calling me back she sits me down and says "I am going to be honest I dont even remember making your appointment or talking to you. Can you remind me your history with contacts and glasses?" It just kind of put me off a bit... then the 3 1/2 hour consult and moving from here to there to this room and then finally seeing a doctor almost 4 hours later. It was all very uncomfortable and not a great consultation or overall experience. I'm sure they're great doctors and staff. I just didn't have good experience.

I was approved for a "loan" but in reality it was a horrible credit card from predatory synchrony . Their service was good but the experience with this "synchrony bank" is horrible. While I was applying , I was never made aware of them pulling a credit card in my name so they could sell me their service.

Kleiman Evangelista has been my preferred eye center for more than 15 years. Dr. Kleiman did my cataract surgery in 2004, and I go there every year for my annual checkups. The personnel are wonderful. Yesterday Karina did the initial exam of my eyes, and as usual she was professional, warm and friendly. She took time to answer my questions. Then I saw Dr. Nguyen, and she did the final exam and gave me my new prescription. She and her scribe, Brittany, made me feel secure and well taken care of. I have complete confidence in my KE Eye Center.

Everyone was very nice and the doctor seemed very competent. I feel that I was misled, however. I was given three options for my cataract surgery. 1-I could have clear lenses that my insurance would pay for. 2-I could pay extra and they could correct my distance vision but I’d still need glasses for reading. Or, 3- I could pay a LOT more but I wouldn’t need glasses at all. After wearing glasses for 60 years I really wanted to be free of them so I paid the extra expense for the best. It’s been over a year and my optometrist finally told me that I’m going to have to use reading glasses. So even though the staff is very nice and the doctor (Dr. Ramsey) seems competent I don’t believe they delivered what they sold me and that I paid extra for.

The initial scheduling was a joke. I had the appointment made, they called to reschedule a week in advance, I could work with that because I had to move schedule around since I work and it involves other people. The DAY OF I received a call that they had to reschedule again, normally it wouldn't be a problem but since I had already changed my schedule once, that involved other's changing theirs, I couldn't do it again, they offered to change the appointment to another day, which was the exact date and time of my original appointment. . . They were able to take me the day of but said it might be a longer wait since now I would have to be fit into another Dr's schedule. The Dr's and office staff are GREAT but that just annoyed me.

Everyone is very nice and professional, but I don't like the way they schedule appointments. They wait until almost the last minute to tell you what time to come back, knowing you need to make arrangement for someone to bring you and pick you up. In my case, they don't even call me. Just send me an email to call them. Sometimes I am not always on my computer, so I might miss calling them for appointment time.

Should have done years ago! Procedure was quick and painless. Doc answered all my questions and explained everything step by step. I do get a bit of glare at night but it seems to be getting better as time go on. I put in eye drops a few times a day which seems to help with the glare. Highly recommend you get LASIK done.

There was only one incident between a representative and me that prevents me from giving them a 5 star rating. I would seriously recommend Lasik - if I had had the money, that's what I would have done. The people are professional and polite and do seem to care about your health. My overall experience was awesome. The doctors and staff are professional, friendly and respectful. Except for my preps for laser surgery at 2 different times. Both nurses who prepped me asked if I wanted the "numbing medicine (their term)." I don't like needles so I did because I did not want to feel the pain of an IV needle insertion. I understand that they have several patients to attend to. But, the nurses did not even wait for the medicine to take effect. Right after giving the "numbing medicine" they poked my arm. I said that it was not numbed yet. Maybe I paid for the "numbing medicine" which I did not benefit from?

My only negative about this place was the dirty floors in the examining rooms. The cleaning crew needs to do a much better job cleaning the floors and the bases of their chairs and examining equipment. Everything else was positive...the people and service are excellent!!!

I had Lasik done on eyes at this place 3-4 months ago. Best decision I ever made. Eye glasses and contacts were giving me bad anxiety. It was just annoying wearing glasses and contacts. I started wearing them in 11th grade. I'm 32 now. which is pretty late in age to wear glasses as a young kid. I vowed to get Lasik one day. Glad I had Lasik at this place. The honest assessment of this place is 4.5 stars, but I only had a choice of 4 or 5 stars on Google Reviews. I give them 5 stars because overall I was very happy. Dr. Nguyen was the eye doctor who exam my eyes to see if I was a candidate for Lasik. Dr. Fraiser was the one who did the Lasik prodecure. Both doctors were fantastic. They were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I would recommend both Doctors to anyone. Miranda was my initial eye consultant (3rd time I called in). She was great. Didn't feel pressured to getting Lasik. She was knowledgeable and help me through process of getting Lasik. The other staff, front desk and other assistants, were good too. They were professional and friendly. I give them 4.5 stars because I called in once or twice initially and there was one male staff member who picked up. I don't remember his name, but he was rude and talk down on me. It was just some questions about Lasik. If Miranda didn't pick up the 3rd time I called, I would've went somewhere else. I really like Miranda. She is good eye consultant.

Last year my eye doctor told me that my cataracts had gotten bad enough to need some corrective surgery. The left eye more so than the right. I was very near sighted with astigmatisms from the age of 9-most of my life. And had in the last few years also developed far sighted issues to a point of corrective glasses for that. After studying the choices of surgeons in my area, I chose Kleiman Evangelista. And have not had a moment of regret. The staff are kind and caring. Attentive and explain every step of the process in detail. I chose the Symfony Crystalens system. Dr. Ramsey did laser surgery to replace the failing and clouding lens in my left eye with the new lens. And for the first time in my life’s memories, I can see far distance clearly and without artificial aids. No glasses. No contacts for the eye they did the surgery on. Just open my eyes and see. It is amazing! They corrected all my sight issues on the left side. It is now time for the right eye. That cataract has finally progressed to the point it needs surgical correction as well. Without hesitation, I chose Kleiman Evangelista for that eye as well. And I am looking forward to both eyes working together with no more need for any artificial outside correction needed for either eye. I highly recommend Kleiman Evangelista and the Symfony lens system to anyone considering surgical lens correction. It is well worth it. Especially if you have multiple issues with your vision. They can correct all the problems.

I am very happy with y cataract removal as I don't have to wear glasses all the time now. I have a air of reading glasses for when I read a book or any thing with very small print. I recommend KE Eye Centers to every one.

Went to two other doctors who suggested that I would do fine with the crystal lens! Dr K advised me don’t waste your money only option for you is basic cataract surgery! Not only was he the most honest , his staff was amazing , never a wait and so professional! I could go on and on !

I was favorably impressed with the advanced technology (equipment and procedures) and my knowledgeable and experienced physician who answered all my and my husband's questions; however, I thought the total time of 3 hours to be examined and then spoken to by the doctor was outrageously too long. It was my first visit to the eye clinic. I sit in the waiting room for several when I ask the receptionist if I was to fill out papers that I was a new patient. I had just started filling out paperwork when they called me. I finished the paperwork when I checked out. Dr. Wen I really liked. She explained everything that I wanted to know about my dry eyes. I want her as my regular Opothamist (spelled wrong). I would recommend them.

I was very please with the service I received at Kleiman Institute. The customer service was awesome and helpful in getting me setup for my procedure. I had both eyes replaced with a new lens and the work my doctor performed was above average. I was given a good understanding of the process before it all started and all my questions were answered. 10/5/18. Just received a collection letter dated 10/1/18 for an amount I paid on September 7! Question is, will I also receive a collection statement for another amount I paid on the same day? A KE representative would not let me speak to a supervisor. She said to just ignore the statement from the collection agency. Such incompetence and their ability to ruin my good credit is inexcusable. I will NOT go back! Overcharged for my surgery so much so that Medicare sent a refund to me. Now they’ve said I have not paid bills I have never seen. Next, the day after my scheduled appointment, I get a text message that I need to call to set up my appointment. I ignored it. Yesterday, a new text message says I am overdue for my appointment. Such incompetence is inexcusable!! Were it not for Dr. James and the other wonderful staff at Gun Barrel City, I would never use KE Eye Centers again!!

I would give them 5 Stars but they still have work to do on getting patients back to see their selected Dr. or Tech in a timely fashion. There is no reason a person that have as appointment at 2:40 should have to wait until 3:20 to go back to a room and sit and wait another 30 minutes. WE as your Patients, have taken time out of our work day (losing money) to sit and wait, making "other" arrangements to pick up children from school.. and then be told, they are running behind and in fact, the back office staff hadn't even been notified that we are there. You have a great thing going here and provide a very valuable service, Don't mess it up with becoming complacent with your Patients. We value your time, Please respect us and value ours. DP
