I met Dr. Martinez the last week of April. I was referred to him by my ophthalmologist. I have been dealing with one issue or another on my eyes since late 2014. Dr. Martinez performed retinal surgery to remove floaters from the viscus fluid in my left eye on May 11th. I followed up with him on May 22nd and was released back to Dr. Wong. I can finally see!!! Dr.Martinez is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He explained the procedure, listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable enough to proceed with the surgery. His staff and the nurses at Northwest Hills Surgical Hospital were professional and very caring. I couldn't ask for better treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Jose Martinez.

I had the opportunity to be seen by Dr. Martinez recently on short notice. My issue was identified in Virginia, and needed a follow-up with a professional specializing in the retina. Since I had to immediately travel to Texas for private business, Dr. Martinez kindly volunteered to work me into his schedule. When I arrived at the office, the staff could not have been nicer, welcoming me and helping me as a new patient. The visit was highly efficient, cordial and professional throughout. I am a new patient of Dr. Martinez and began coming to his office in the fall of last year (2016). This was based on a recommendation from my optometrist. Making an appointment with him was absolutely the right choice. I highly recommend Dr. Martinez. Seeing him was the first step to ultimate resolution of the issue I had with my left eye. He quickly identified the problem and explained in easy to understand terms what this problem was. Dr. Martinez is patient, extremely knowledgeable and focused on helping each person and making them feel that he has their best interests at heart. He is also very conscientious that his staff are always attentive and responsive to all who come into his office. He quickly put me at ease with regard to the treatment options and plan of action. I was referred to Dr. Martinez by my opthalmologist and feel so fortunate to have him recommended to me. He did surgery on my eye and the whole experience was flawless. The staff of the surgical center were efficient and caring and the procedure went very well, but the thing that really impressed me was Dr. Martinez's positive attitude and caring concern from the very first appointment through follow-ups. I had a reaction to a medication over the weekend but Dr. Martinez's office had provided an emergency number and I felt well taken care of -- even on a weekend. The staff made an appointment for me immediately and I was able to see him the next day. His office is efficient and I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to get in to see the doctor. When you're waiting in the dark room for your eyes to dilate, the staff comes to you and offers you bottled water or coffee. I have never seen this level of care previously. They don't pretend you're a herd of cattle like others do. They really care. Dr. Martinez followed up with me personally to make certain that everything was going smoothly for me. I highly recommend him.
