Heart of Texas Eye Institute is a terrific addition to the West Austin/Dripping Springs Medical World. I have just had my clearance appointment with Dr. Lara Dudek, who a month ago today performed cataract surgery on my left eye. I have gone from fuzzy vision and computer glare to 20/15 in that eye. Dr. Dudek is a marvelously skilled surgeon, and is particularly attentive to her patients in the run up to surgery and in the post operative stage. She takes all the time you might need, and explains the science of such delicate surgeries in a way that brings her patients into the circle with her. You don't have to look around for a better team than this.

Just got my new glasses since Dr. Dudek performed my cataract surgery . HOT made this procedure a pleasure . From the first appointment to the follow ups everything was friendly and easy . No wait times and all my questions and fears were met and surpassed . As to the surgery itself , that was the easiest and most painless procedure I've ever had . 20 minutes tops . Soon my other eye will need this and I will not hesitate to return .

Doctor Lisa McIntire was friendly, professional, and thorough in every way throughout my time with her. The reason for my visit to her was that after a lifetime of wearing glasses and contact lenses, I decided to find out if corrective surgery was right for me. After evaluating my eyes carefully, she determined that I was an ideal candidate for laser surgery. The entire surgery process was quick and painless and I was watching football on TV the next night. In addition to corrective surgery, I understand that they offer a full range of ophthalmological services, so I will be back if I am ever in need of such. I highly recommend Heart of Texas Eye Institute.

Great place. Both Dr.McIntyre and Dr. Dudek took great care of my eye. It's almost fun having some metal and a rust ring removed with a dremel type tool, when you have a team like this. Can't wait for my next eye injury :) Thanks.

I got my 2nd cataract evaluated, at HOT Eye Institute it had been progressing more rapidly in the previous 6 months. Now I have a new multi-focal implant that has fully corrected my vision.
