Eye-care Associates is the only place I'll go for all my Eye care needs. There's so many things they offer to their patients. From Regular eye exams, Lasik, Cataract, Retinal, surgeries. Some patients don't know they also have an Optical shop that has endless choices from the latest trends & that's not all, Eye-Care also has a Hearing Specialist that offers FREE cleanings, hearing test & much more. Need some extra TLC they also offer Botox & Eyelid lifts.The best part about Eye-care the 11 dedicated, knowledgeable Doctor's under 1 roof.

The office is friendly and I like the physicians. I think the shop is a little more pricey than other shops. My main complaint is I get a paper that specifically says they will handle insurance filing. They called me to make my appointment and for convenience I ask if I can also schedule my son. It wasn't until we were through with the appointment that I find out I have to pay for my son's visit out of pocket. I'm not the kind of person who stiffs payment. After a conversation with the office manager we decided I would pay the amount and then we would have a conversation about how much I would get reimbursed for the inconvenience. THEY KNEW I would have to pay out of pocket and did not notify me prior to our appointment. I have yet to meet with the manager even though I called twice. I translate this as a lie with our agreement and a ploy for me to forget that they missed on their responsibility. I would only give 1 star but the office in general isn't bad, but the trust is definitely broken and I won't be returning. *** Update, I was returned $15

SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE I WALKED OUT! The first time I went there I had to re-schedule because they had not yet received my medical records. They should have called me to notify me of this. The front desk is poorly managed. I was told if I had my records transferred over they would waive the $50 contact lens fitting fee. The front office could not tell me if they had my records on file or not when I called. I had to try to get them re-faxed over when I got there the second time and they wanted to charge me the $50 fee anyway saying they charge all new patients the $50 fitting fee.THIS COMPANY IS ONLY INTERESTED IN ROBBING PEOPLE AND HAS POOR COMMUNICATION. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! They wanted to charge me an office visit copay of $120 with insurance. I WALKED OUT, WORST EXPERIENCE AT A DOCTORS OFFICE EVER.

The woman who helped us with insurance issues was fabulous. She went above and beyond and was so helpful and friendly. Really liked Dr. Pennell and his nurses. The only negative thing is that the front desk mainly one person was not friendly and and appears to be the scheduler for Dr. Pennell. Also the wait time to see the doctor was generally an hour and a half to two hours which seems a little long to me.

September 2017 - These are one of the places that require an appointment so that you can come and bask in the glory of waiting in not one, but two different waiting rooms. If that weren't enough to tie up your morning or afternoon, you also get to wait for the doctor to finally see you once in an actual room. 2nd visit, six months later (3/2018). This time I only had to wait 45 minutes for an appointment I was on time for. Was helped by not the doctor, but by one of his capable assistant's. Now that we were 1/3 filled with hope of seeing the outside world again, we were herded to another smaller waiting room so that we can check to see if those seats were still working. (They were in case some of you were wondering) 30 minutes later two different assistant's came by to lead us to another room. We were fortunately given ample time to check for cracks in the paint and any cobwebs left behind by any resident spiders. Now 2 hours after our initial appointment time, the doctor makes a brief (in comparison to the over three and a half hours spent here) appearance so that he can legally charge for our lovely stay. This place may care for your eyes, but they do not care if you actually have a life with other things to do. Life does not exist outside of this building apparently and time here is only a theoretical concept by some who dare speak of it. For those who do, I suspect they may very well get charged double for bringing up such nonsense.

I went in for a checkup they wanted to do another test. I said fine do the test as long as its insurance covers it. After all said and done Insurance don't cover that. So they're hounding me for the money and turn me over to a collection agency. Do not go here unless you're going to want to get screwed

Our eyesite isn’t the best in my family so it’s a priority for us to get the best care possible and that’s exactly what they do! They have several specialist so it’s easy to stick with one clinic for everything, including a hearing specialist my grandfather appreciates very much and an optical shop with some cute glasses. They have no care when it comes to billing insurance to get your ROUTINE exam covered. They look for any symptom to bill it as medical and then your preventive insurance will not cover it. Went thru 3 people in the chain of command to get this resolved with no results to help. Now I have to pay over $200 for something that should have been covered. They just lost a patient of me.

My appointment was at 1pm. I was told to arrive at 12:45 which I did. I sat in Dr. Bochow's waiting room with 30 other people for exactly 2 hours BEFORE anyone called me back to the examining room. I then had drops put in my eyes to dilate and then had to wait in the waiting room another 30 minutes. Meanwhile a handcuffed from hands to feet prisoner in an orange jumpsuit was escorted in with an armed sheriff and sat next to me in the only two chairs available in the fully packed room. The total time spent with the doctor was exactly 10 minutes,,,long enough for him to shine a light in the back of my eye, and jot down some notes. I complained to the receptionist, the nurse, and even told the doctor that my time had value and that their scheduling practice was unacceptable. I will NEVER go back to them and plan to send Dr Bochow a personal note. I was there for a total of 4 hours. Ridiculous! Oh,,,,and next time you schedule a PRISONER for an eye exam, BRING HIM IN THE BACK DOOR!!!

She was very thorough in checking and diagnosing the issue, she gave me some information on how to alleviate the symptoms and had me in and out swiftly. Wonderful doctor! If you're in need of an updated contact prescription, she will do an excellent job!

Customer service has not improved in 20 years. In spite of a bad experience when i was younger i scheduled an appoint.rntLectured, and called a liar within 5 minutes of arriving. Told I had a 4p appt, arrived at 3:45 to fill out paperwork and was "kindly" told by new patient check in that they would have to check with the doctor to determine if they could see me as i was "late" for my 4pm appt (at 3:45)...apparently they had plenty of time to lecture me, in spite of the doctor's busy schedule.

I would leave zero stars if I could. Horrible place. The staff made my elderly parents sit there all day, then forgot about them. Literally had them sitting in several different waiting rooms, finally saw the “wrong” doctor. Sent them to lunch, had them come back to see the “right” doctor. When they got back from lunch, they waited in two different waiting rooms again, then when the staff realized the forgot they told my parents to come back, they shuttled them to the doctor’s office until he was available. Got here at 11am. It’s now 3pm and my parents are still Here.
