Dr. Gitschlag was my doctor from only a few months of age up until the last time I saw him at 17. He was wonderful, and I have nothing but fond memories. Im glad to see he’s still practicing!

Long wait time. Staff is rude. Doctor isn't thorough nor did he write out the prescription correctly. He doesn't have knowledge of rare eye disorders as he should so the whole visit was a waste. I knew more than him. No degree only information from past specialists and research. Comparing him to Melanie Bradley in Lexington, Ky he should retire.

Very kind and knowledgeable doctor. One of the best doctors I've ever had. He breaks down something as complicated as the eye in a way that parents and patients can understand. Spends plenty of time with you to make sure all your questions and worries are addressed. And he has some of the kindest and friendlist staff around.

Dr. Gitschlag and his staff have consistently been efficient, helpful, and patient regardless of an inquiry or issue. The only doctor's office I've been able to call who doesn't require a call back to answer any question and are kind and patient when doing so. They are a commute for us but would never consider switching because of the consistent care they've offered through several years.

Called and made my daughter an appointment when making the appointment I was asked what insurance and they stated they took the insurance waited 2 months for this appointment and drove an hour for them to tell me they would not see her and didn’t take her insurance.

My experience has only been over the phone today in attempt to reschedule an appointment for my daughter and the nurse was extremely rude and unprofessional, so I can only imagine what the doctors are like in order for them to allow this type of unnecessary behavior towards a parent...
