We had been trying to figure out a source of eye pain for 2 years, chalked it up to needing glasses and light sensitivity, until coming to Dr.wilkinson for a yearly exam and in one visit he found the source, set up a procedure and have healing tips! Wonderful doctor with a real care for his patients and knowledge about what he does!

I went to Vision Source because I was home visiting and in need of some new glasses. I had used EyeMart in Rapid several times before and was disappointed that I was not able to get an appointment with them. I am very glad that this was the case. Being the only Optometrist in Hot Springs, they were booked out when I first tried to make an appointment. I scheduled an appointment for the next week and left a message with Denise to call me if anything opened up. Sure enough, two days after I had scheduled my appointment she called me up after a cancellation and I was in the next morning. Upon arriving, Denise at reception was wonderfully polite and very personable. She quickly handled the insurance company and got me into the appointment right away. During the actual exam, both Dr. Wilkinson and his assistant were very friendly. I had lots of questions for Dr. Wilkinson and he politely and clearly answered all of them in great detail. Furthermore, I commented on an issue with weak eye muscles in one eye and he did something that no other Dr. had ever done for me. I don't know the specifics, but he took the extra time to make an adjustment to my prescription so that I would be more comfortable on a day to day basis. After the appointment, the young woman who helped me pick frames was also extremely helpful. She waited patiently as I tried on lots of different frames and also gave her opinion of which ones looked good and which ones didn't. On top of the wonderful customer service, they even gave 30% off of my second pair of glasses. I could not be more pleased with the experience that I had while shopping for new glasses. I will make it a point to return when I need to make changes.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Wilkinson for a couple of years now and even though he have moved to a different state we come back to him. He is very professional yet considerate and seems to really care about us. His staff is also very nice.
