I'm at the beginning of a two week road trip and have some eye problems that I think should be looked at by a Doctor. I Google optometrists in Mitchell and Mabee pops up. I read in the reviews about how friendly and helpful they are so I call them. And it was all true! They worked me in with a smile and got me back on the road. A big shout out to Dr. Wenande who saw me and thanks again for the restaurant tip in Hill City! Thank Mabee!

I have seen all three of the doctors at Mabee. I can personally give rave reviews for all three. My most recent experience with Dr. Wenande was no exception. He is an excellent provider. He is kind and has a gentle yet fun personality! He takes his time with your exam and truly listens when you tell him your concerns. He is so wonderful to work with! Drs. Bleeker and Nydam are excellent doctors as well. I have been going to this clinic for 12 years and have not had one complaint in all those years.

I recently had an eye exam with Dr . Wenande; and I have to say I’ve never had a perfect eye exam and lens prescription like I have now. I’ve had glasses for years, but this is the FIRST time I can actually read with my bifocals without having to adjust my glasses. I have also had dry eyes for years which had never being addressed through out annual exams at a variety of other clinics, but one trip to Mabee changed my eyes for the better! BIG Thank You, Dr. Wenande and all your wonderful, dedicated staff! I have referred many friends and will continue to see you every year!

Dr. Bleeker is AMAZING!! I can't say enough great things about his care for his patients. However after my visit I decided to wait for a few days before ordering my glasses since my eyes were dialated the day of the visit. When I returned to place my order they ask for a downpayment which was fine except I have been waiting for 6 weeks to get my glasses. The gentleman that ordered my glasses was extremely sorry about the long delay and offered me to come in and choose another pair bit I decided to wait. (I was more than okay with waiting, understand things happen) Wouldn't you know I received a bill in the mail for the glasses that have yet to arrive.

I generally liked this business as they gave me contacts when I needed some and I scheduled an appointment after loosing my glasses. I was not able to make it to the appointment, I could have called. I called again to reschedule and on that day I called to reschedule because I did not get out of work in time. Than I get a letter notifying me that If I don't make the next appointment than I will not be able to make another one. Taking my business elsewhere to find better customer service.
