I've had 5 surgeries, had all 3 of my kids (one more on the way), and been admitted for being sick a few times. The nurses are amazing and friendly, never had a problem.

Spent 5 hrs in the ER only to see the doctor for 5mins and be told they didn't know what was wrong. $1700 bill for that BS!

My experience as a patient was great but their billing/financial services are horrible. If I had the money to pay my bill in full I definitely would, but unfortunately I do not. I will pay what I can every month until it's paid. I can not make money come from no where. Also "lady" I understand that you are told to tell me that your company can only except a minimum of $xxx a month but what I am telling you is I only can pay $xx a month because that is all I have.

My experience here was so horrible. I was mistreated by the ER staff and honestly I can say I’m embarrassed for them. I have never felt so disrespected as a patient and I honestly hope that Avera rethinks it’s message to its patients. I will never ever go to this hospital again. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a hospital. What a disgrace. Save yourself the time and drive to Sioux Falls.

The Orthopedic surgeon that did my 16 year old sons surgery was amazing.he was out of surgery rather quickly. We have had no problems at all. The nurses were very professional, compassionate And skilled .
