I had Lasik performed by Dr. Vroman about six months ago. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I am very particular- especially when it comes to vision. I can see better than I could with glasses or contacts. I ended up being able to read four out of five letters on the 20/10 line. I had a terrible time with contacts as my eyes were too dry to be able to wear them regularly. He was recommended to me by a friend and a couple of top ophthalmologists in the area who I really trust. Anyways, I would definitely recommend Dr. Vroman if you are interested in Lasik as he is honest, upfront, and a great doctor!

I'm very pleased with the results of my lasik surgery. In addition, the wait times have been minimal in all my pre- and post-op appointments. Every staff member I've come in contact with has been efficient, friendly, and competent. This is a well-run office (and this review is from someone who has high customer service standards).

Dr. Vroman is one of the best doctors I have ever met! I initially went to him after having issues with my left eye that other doctors were unable to figure out. After making extra time to see me the same day, I ended up having a rare fungal infection that Dr. Vroman ended up treating for 4 months. This was a very difficult time in my life and there was a lot of uncertainty about regaining my sight and muscle strength in my eye. Dr. Vroman was incredibly empathetic and conservative in his treatments. He ended up saving my eye and sight- something that no one knew was 100% possible. I am so grateful for his conscientiousness, bedside manner, compassion and intellect! He went above and beyond to call me on off hours to check-in, keep in touch with my worried family up North and ensure that we cleared out the whole infection before moving forward with additional treatment. Dr. Vroman saved not only my eye but my quality of life and this is something I will be forever grateful for. He stays on-top of new research, takes ample time with all of his patients and is incredibly thorough. Dr. Vroman is a one-of-a-kind doctor that I would refer the entire East Coast to!

I am posting this comment as a public service. When I went to Dr. Vroman, I only needed reading glasses. Now, since his procedure, my eyes are all messed up. If there were negative stars to rate this doctor, I would put 5 negative stars to rate him. Unfortunately, I am forced to click on a star in order to have this comment posted. I caution anyone on letting Dr. Vroman touch your eyes. In my opinion he should lose his license.

Dr Vroman replaced my cataracts in two eyes. I have had numerous visits with him and would definitely use him again. He is a very caring individual with great attention to detail. Exactly what you want in an eye surgeon.
