Both the staff and the doctors at this center are amazing. The whole Lasik eye surgery experience was very streamlined, Cat was an absolute sweetheart and Geri and Dr. Baghaat made absolutely sure that all of my burning questions and concerns were fully addressed. Very knowledgeable staff and truly cares about their patients. Couldn't have been happier with the results, too, seeing as how my vision is better than 20/20, with minimal discomfort (just the night of the surgery), and my eyes healing well and fairly quickly. Would definitely recommend this TLC center to anyone looking for great results and a great customer-centric experience.

My experience with TLC Providence was entirely excellent, from my free consultation, to my Lasik procedure, through the one-week follow-up appointment I just had on Friday. The atmosphere of the office was calming and professional. Cat, Dr. Bhagat, Dr. Galler -- really everyone I encountered at TLC -- was knowledgable and personable, and made me feel implausibly at ease with the idea of having lasers slice into my eyeballs. I never had even the slightest inkling that anyone was trying to sell me on or rush me into anything, a complaint I’ve heard about other Lasik places. On the contrary, they really took the time to make sure I was a good candidate and that I was certain I wanted to move forward before even booking my procedure. I am generally anxiety-prone and hypochondriacal, but thanks to the reassuring demeanor of the TLC Providence team, I was more excited than nervous going into the office on the day. Every step was explained and explained again, and the little touches - Valium, blanket, stuffed animal - really helped me feel comfortable and taken care of. The operation itself is a very strange, kind of sci-fi trip, but it’s over so fast and really was painless. When I sat up, I was asked to read a clock that had previously been a white circular blur. It took me a minute, not so much because of the soft haze surrounding everything, but because I’m just really unused to reading analogue time. #millennial Things definitely got a bit unpleasant when the numbing drops wore off an hour later, but I’ve experienced pretty similar discomfort after working a 15 hour day with my contacts. When I got back to my parents’ house, I taped the TLC-provided plastic eye covers to my face and took a 3 hour nap. Their guest room window looks out on a marsh, with a sliver of ocean just visible more than half a mile out. When I woke up from my nap, I could see the crisp outlines of sailboats on the horizon. Even with my contacts, they had only ever been abstract-expressionist suggestions of boat-like shapes. When I went in again the next day for my first follow up, Dr. Bhagat confirmed I had 20/15 in both eyes - better than 20/20. Comfort-wise, I just felt like I was wearing too-old contact lenses. It’s been over a week now and I’m still really not over how great this whole experience has been. I think everyone I know is probably very sick of hearing me talk about it, so I’ve tried to channel some of my irrepressible joy into this novel-length review. I’m just really glad I got Lasik, and really happy I had it done at TLC Providence!

This place is incredible! First off Dr Galler makes you full aware of everything your surgery involves. He is fantastic, personable, and even encouraging during the procedure. I was lucky to have Shelly, Kat, and Valerie each partake in my appointments. All three treat you with respect, make you feel at ease if you have any apprehension, and also very encouraging. I was beyond nervous during the appointment and they all helped calm me down with encouraging words. Kat called my wife that night of my procedure to make sure everything was great. My progress has be great and recovery has been fine too. Personally I wish I could give each person their own 5 star review because of the treatment I have received there. I highly recommend this Doctor and place.

What an amazing experience! And the results?!?!? Fantastic! TLC Laser Eye Center in Providence created a positive, calming, and safe environment. The professionalism of the staff made me feel more enthusiastic for the procedure than uneasy. The multiple exams and test that were done by Dr. Bhagat ensured that my result will be no less than perfect. And it’s exactly that.....PERFECT! I underwent the LASIK procedure exactly a week ago today. I can say that my vision today has already exceeded my vision at any point in my life with contacts or glasses. I had searched for other LASIK surgeons in the Boston/ New England area, and had actually scheduled a consultation for February 1st with another LASIK surgeon (mind you, I had called in November and the earliest open slot was February). Not willing to wait 4 months for just the CONSULTATION, I started looking at other options. I found TLC online, called on a Monday and got my free consultation the next day. In less than a month, I went from consultation to perfect uncorrected vision. The staff at TLC Providence is fantastic. Dr. Galler, the surgeon who performed my procedure, was professional and reassuring throughout. My only regret was not going to TLC first and wasting 4 months with the other LASIK Surgeon. Thanks again TLC Staff and Dr. Galler.

I had the best experience here! Dr. Galler, Cat and the rest of the TLC staff are amazing. They were all so nice, helpful and comforting during the whole process from the consultation to the surgery itself, and even during post-op. After surgery, I had 20/20 vision and could finally see the world clearer and in more detail than I ever could with glasses. I would 100% recommend TLC Providence to anyone considering lasik surgery!

As a doctor myself to say that I didnt do research on who I trusted with my surgery would be an understatement. From the moment I walked in wearing glasses to the moment I walked out with 20/20 vision Dr Galler and the entire staff couldnt have been more brilliant. When dealing with your eyes I understand the anxiety but the office put me at ease and answered every question I could possibly think of. Lasik was a snap and by that afternoon (after a solid nap) I was seeing better than I ever have with contacts! I could not have felt more confident in the hands of Dr Galler and recommend not only the procedure but also the office to anyone and everyone who is even thinking about Lasik surgery!

I had an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and extremely comforting. This is such a scary and exciting experience and this staff really knows what they are doing. Not even 24 hours later my vision was so clear just as if I was wearing my glasses or contacts! Highly recommend !!

Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. No pressure, and they allowed me to choose procedure based on recommendations they provided. Appointments were punctual, office was clean, all staff was polite. It's only been 8-days, but distance vision was improved instantly. Only regret is the loss of near-vision in the corrected eye that used to be perfect when reading close-up, but at least now I don't need glasses to see far away and can still read fine with other eye, or hopefully better with reading glasses(haven't tried that yet). Takes a little time getting used to it bc I only had one eye corrected. More to come later on...

This location is filled with employees who truly love their job and care about each client. I was able to see perfectly by the next morning after a 6pm surgery! If the thought of having Lasik has ever crossed your mind, just go do it!! I wish I didn't wait so long! Highly recommend this location!

I remember the feeling when I was about 10 or so and put on glasses for the first time and actually realizing that I had been missing so many details of the world. I was so happy that day. I have been dreaming of Lasik for years, but I was terrified. I would do it over and over again because this morning when I woke up, I could see the clock without having to reach for my glasses or put my contacts in and I had that feeling all over again. Pure joy. I would highly recommend TLC in Providence - the staff is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and they have your best interest in mind so that you can have the best results. That scary feeling went away and I felt confident with Dr. Galler, Cat, Gerri, and the rest of the staff to perform the surgery. The consultation is free - it doesn't hurt to see if you're a candidate. And if you are, I would definitely recommend you go for it and enjoy life through a new and more than perfect view!

TLC really impressed me. I was helping a friend through a laser eye surgery procedure. Through the entire process, they were always very nice and willing to help. After the surgery, we had some concerns about the healing process and they were always very helpful. We called several times and even came in for an additional appointment for the surgeon to check and make sure everything is okay. One of the most important things for any surgery is to have help both before and after the surgery. TLC never abandoned is or offer any less service after we paid them and had the procedure done. That's how laser eye surgery should be. I would highly recommend this place.

The staff at TLC laser is top notch. Initially, the experience was frustrating as there was some miscommunication between my eye doctor and TLC where I had to do the dilation prep and initial consultation twice. After that was sorted out, the surgeon, Dr. Galler was very honest and collaborative in his plan. The day of, the staff and surgeon walked me through every step and even during the procedure told me what was going to happen and when and for how long. In a scary experience, because you are told your whole life not to put things in your eyes
