Very knowledgeable doctor, very helpful in the exam room for both my children and myself. However, my experience with the glasses I have ordered for myself is less than best. Glasses don't fit well or sit properly on my nose. When asked about this, optometry staff says I am wearing them improperly--but if I wear my glasses the way they "should" be worn, I either cannot see out of them, or I develop an immediate headache. No amount of explaining helps. I think I will keep my kids as patients, but I need to he seen elsewhere.

I've been going to Dr. Parks for a few years now with my son. My prescription has always been spot on. I usually book me and my son at the same time and the exam is pleasant and moves very quickly. I just picked up my first pair of prescription sunglasses and I am just so happy. I wish I got a pair years ago. The transition lenses are good if I'm walking in and out of doors, but when driving, my car windows block uv rays so the transition lenses don't darken. In Winter this is especially annoying. I've been driving with them for a few days now and just love them. The woman I worked with to help me decide on the right frames is always helpful. Let's face it.. you are going to walk around in these things a lot. You don't want a 'Yes' person selling you glasses. You need honesty. LOL, she told me I had a pear shaped head once and helped me find a set of glasses that I was very pleased with wearing. It's true. My head is kinda pear shaped.

The doctor does a good job determining prescription, but the eyeglasses are a racket. I brought the pair of glasses I wanted to put the lenses in and the sales woman got snippy. She tried to convince me my choice was an old style and that I needed a new, modern style. When that didn’t work, she continued to be rude through the lens choices. When my glasses came in, I asked to fit them to my face, and she actually refused! She said something like, “well, if they fit before, they should fit again.” Then she ushered me out. Whatever they think they will gain from the frames, it’s not worth losing a customer. I’m not buying a frame in a doctor’s office when I can get it for less than half online. I’m not paying for you to be nice to me, but I’m not required to buy your product just because you are rude about it. Not going back.

After a thorough exam , I was advised I needed reading glasses , instead of trying to up sell me on a product , he gave me several options that allowed me to choose the right correction for me, without pushing their selection . My experience with Dr Parks has been excellent over the last 25 years. This week was a perfect example. My daughter had a sore eye, possibly an eye infection or scratched eye. I called Dr Parks emergency number and he arranged to meet us at his office within an hour to check out my 16 year old daughters eye on the afternoon of July 4th. He opened up his office just for us. He prescribed a prescription and arranged a follow-up visit. That to me is great old fashioned service! Very pleased with the commitment and quality of care from Dr Parks and his staff repeatedly all these years.

Five years coming to see Dr. Parks for my eye check up along with ordering my contact lens. I definitely appreciate his flexible hours that range daily from early morning to late evening where I don't have to skip work to come for my appointment. Never too busy or overbooked and he seems to give each patient his undivided attention. Friendly and easy going, he puts me at ease even when he's numbing my eyeballs and giving them the fun pressure test! Quick, painless, and it's over before I know it. His friendly staff is also great and and makes sure all my Eyemed and United Healthcare insurance and paperwork is up to date and complete so never an issue! No muss, no fuss, makes Dr. Parks a great optometrist to visit each time!

I have always had trouble finding glasses that I enjoy wearing more than my contacts. My prescription is so high it makes most glasses heavy and uncomfortable. However, Dr. Parks helped me find lenses that were digitally made allowing the lenses to be super light and comfortable to wear. Best of all they were more than affordable! I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Parks! My experience with him has been nothing but pleasant and enjoyable :)

I've been seeing Dr. Parks for several years and he is the best!! Dr. Parks is so friendly and accommodating -- he even came into work on an off-day because it was the only time I was available. After a bad experience with a different optometrist, I take the time to travel back to Dr. Parks even though I no longer live in the same state! You can put your full trust in him and he'll explain everything as he goes along. They also have a really nice selection of glasses frames-- I couldn't resist a new pair last time I was in -- prices are great. Highly recommend!

I had a really great experience at Dr. Parks' office. They were able to squeeze me in the same day to get an eye examination and glasses. I think that I called for an appointment around noon, and was able to get in as one of the last appointments of the day around 330pm. They have a decent selection of glasses, ranging from $50 to $500. I saw a lot of high end brands also - Jimmy Choo, Vera Wang, Cole Haan, etc. I ended up going with the right pair for my budget, and am glad to know that there was a wide variety of price points to choose from. Thank you for the great service!

I have been going to Dr. Parks for years!! He has an extensive collection of top brand name eye ware to choose from. Linda is the best when it comes to helping make a tough decision. Dr. Parks is very thorough when it comes to checking your eyes and has the latest equipment for a comprehensive eye exam. He is a top Dr for sure!!

State of the art facility!! Staff was so lovely!! awesome selection of frames, got a stylish new pair of glasses. Dr. Parks was very friendly and thorough, he changed my contact lens and now my eyes feel much better. He also identified a "freckle" in the back of eye which no other doctor had discovered before. Thankfully he was able to take a photo of it so he can monitor it for changes. Great experience and will definitely be returning for my annual exam next year!!
