I cannot say enough great things about OPTX and Dr. Diamante. It was a really windy day, and I was outside for 5 minutes when something blew into my eye. I thought it would just go away, but a couple hours later I was in excruciating pain. I had never been to OPTX but drive past it all the time. So I called and explained my situation. The woman who answered the phone asked if I could make it right now, or that she could schedule something for first thing in the morning if I felt uncomfortable rushing to the office. (it was already 4:15 PM and they close at 6.) I was in so much pain I choose to go in immediately. When I got to the office I couldn't help but notice how nice the foyer was, even with all the pain I was in. I felt like I was in an Audi dealership, but instead of cars there were stylish glasses. They had me fill out my paperwork and then quickly escorted me to the waiting room where a very nice woman gave me numbing drops. What a relief! I could have (I should have) hugged her. The waiting room and the ladies room was was very clean. I did have to wait about half an hour, but was so grateful they were able to squeeze me in I didn't make a peep. Another assistant came by with more numbing drops and a bottle of water. Every one was so kind! Then, I was escorted into a room to meet Dr. Diamante. What a wonderful man. He asked me what was wrong, took a look at my eyes and made everything better. I mentioned I usually go to another Dr. in town, but didn't want to go back because he never listened to me. He said he was familiar with that doctor and knows he is just a busy man. He didn't even have anything negative to say about his competition! Turns out I had a piece of gravel stuck under my eye lid and every time I blink it scratched my cornea. I was freaking out because I'm getting married in two weeks, but he assured me that everything will be fine by then, prescribed me some drops and made me promise if I didn't feel better by Monday that I would come back and he would help. I thanked him again for squeezing me in right at the end of the day and he said he will always be here if I need anything. I hate going to the optometrist (I mean, really, who doesn't?) But everyone at OPTX was so kind, the place was so clean and inviting and Dr. Diamante was absolutely amazing. I will sing their graces to anyone who'll listen.

Highly professional from start to finish — from the initial evaluation at his attractive and comfortable offices to the detailed (orally and in writing) explanations of the procedure and of the insurance and financial arrangements, to the surgeries on each eye and through the follow-up exams. Dr. Diamanté himself and every single one of his staff with whom we interacted (as well as the staff at the surgical center he uses) were very knowledgeable, pleasant and courteous. The result of my cataract surgery was incredible: I now have 20-20 vision in both eyes after 68 years of imprisonment behind corrective lenses!

I have worn glasses my whole life. Having an astigmatism prevented me from having lasik surgery so I had to wait til I developed cataracts. Dr Diamante preformed laser surgery on each eye, one week apart. Since then I can drive without glasses, and have just about 20/20 vision, amazing. I am 70 years old, and couldn't be happier. One of my favorite songs is I Can See Clearly Now, by Johnny Nash, that song has much more meaning to me now, thanks Dr. Diamante.

I've been to OPTX for 5+ visits now. In short: expert care + great frames. Perhaps a few too many hi-tech buzzword tests before I saw my Dr., but such is 3rd party payer healthcare these days. ANYWAY my consults by Dr. Head have consistently been thorough and thoughtful. Their front desk and intake experience can be impersonal but once you're in the flow things progress OK. The selection of frames is vast, current, and stylish. And the interior design of the office and showroom is up there with an Apple store. If you care about customer experience, frame selection, and an excellent optometrist consultation, OPTX is a no-brainer.

I wear bifocal contacts. They have their limitations at night. Seeing red blurred lights at night is scary. My mom is one of Dr. D’s first patients and upon her urging, I made an appointment. Test this eye, test that eye, “this is what we did years ago” he said to me. Out comes the calculator; go get one of these and one of those he said to the assistant about the contacts he wanted to try out. He put them in and Voila! Someone turned the lights on! I could see again. If you’re thinking about it, make an appointment, You won’t be sorry.
