DESCRIPTION

Here you have all the opinions of people like you who use the services of Tri-County Eye Physicians & Surgeons (Ophthalmologist) near Pennsylvania.

At present the firm has a score of 3.3 over 5 and the rating has been calculated on 29 reviews.

You must have seen that the average score it has is discreet, and it is founded on a very high number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the rating is very faithful. If people have bothered to give their opinion when they've done well, is that it works.

You know that we do not usually bother to write evaluations when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

This Ophthalmologist is included in the category of Eye care center.

I sent a letter regarding the services I received where the services were over billed. I have not received a response from Tri-County as of December 3, 2015. I am now forwarding the letter to United Healthcare to have the services reviewed. I have tried to speak with the billing department before the letter was sent to Tri-County Eye Physicians & Surgeons and it fell onto deaf ears. The Doctors are piggy-backing off of other Doctors in the group with the computer system and over billing.

It's amazing how many times you can tell them, they have the wrong phone number. Give them the correct one, and they still call the wrong one anyway. So you never know when your eye glasses or contacts arrive.

The place for you if you like waiting an hour after your scheduled time

Staff and Doctor were great at our visit today.

Been coming here with my family for years, always a good experience. Staff is friendly and efficient, doctors are excellent. Drs Wolfish and Feldman take time to answer questions and I always feel my concerns are met. HIghly recommend.

I called at 3PM. and left a message to call me back. The following day no one returned my call. I then called the second day before 3PM. A lady told me that they want $200 just for an initial consultation. If you only have Medicare, it seems like it's going to cost you quite a bit for the visits and surgery.

Terrible office management. Was waiting for 40 min over my appointment time and was not to called. Nobody explained extra waiting or sad sorry. Was visiting that office for over 10 years in last year changed to very bad.

Dr DeCarlo is very nice, willing to answer any questions, and also the assistants are kind and good with kids.

Absolutely no Customer Service! My wait time threshold is an hour. If I'm not in with the Doctor within that time, I leave. Somehow, they are completely oblivious to the amount of time they make you wait...or they don't care. Last year I left after an hour in the waiting room. That should have been my red flag. Went there again right before the holidays for my son. We were in the waiting room for 45 minutes before they told me that we needed a scrip for the appointment. (Why didn't you tell me that when I walked in?) So we rescheduled for today at 2:45. You would think an effort would have been made to get us in for their mistake last time. At 3:45 we were not seen by the doctor yet. On top of the whole thing, my son would have to get drops in his eyes and then be stuck back out in the waiting room for another half hour while his eyes dilate. I mean are you kidding me! Walked out of there for the second time. What a giant waste of time. Never again.

Many years treated by this office. The doctors are great! Attentive and knowledgeable. The support staff is a different story. Attitude and rudeness is unacceptable. Sadly will have to part ways and find another provider. Not worth it to deal with such disorganized nastiness.

Called this place to request my medical records be sent me. They apparently charge TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS to do this? That's absolutely insane, no one else charges a penny - LIKE NO ONE - and I looked it up and they really should only be charging you 25 cents per page of your records + postage if anything... Maybe I misunderstood? If I did please let me know so I can get my medical records because there is no way I am paying 25 dollars that is so unreasonable. I'll pay 25 cents though!

Gave my dad wrong prescription . After my dad complained he was ignored. Requested to speak with dr Gordon took 3 wks for a return call.told to see another doctor in the practice. Found out that my dads prescription was given to him incorrect 6 months later . They practice would not take any responsibility for it. Needless to say we left the practice.

I really like the staff and our doctor Dr. Goldstein. Him and everyone else has been so sweet to my 1 year old. First time we went we had to wait for about 2 hours (we went in the morning). Recently everything took about about an hour (our appointment was 5pm this time and we left home 6pm). We came for clogged duct issue and the doc has answered all our questions and was very clear on what our options were. Note: I’ve read reviewers complaining about 1-2 hour wait. This is nothing compared to visiting Wills Eye Institute downtown. My wait time is 2-4 hours there. Hah.

Dr. Menacker is a great ophthalmologist however, they have no payment option exceptions for a patient that has been there for over NINE YEARS. I find that completely ridiculous. In today's financial environment a $40 copay for a specialist visit can be a substantial amount to a family living paycheck to paycheck. I had an appointment for my daughter on a Thursday. I called the office to see if I could pay them on Friday/pay day, ONE DAY after the appointment. I was told sure ... but there is a TWENTY DOLLAR billing fee!!! TWENTY DOLLARS??? Not $5 or even maybe $10 ... If you're greedy but TWENTY??? I was going to just reschedule the appointment but it's kind of a pressing issue and it's for my 11 year old daughter. If it was an appointment for me, I would have had a much different response for them.

Long waiting times. Will not see you if you have problems with insurance or Medicare Co-pays. Their Glasses store prices are way too expensive. Take the Prescrition somewhere else to get affordable Glasses.

Such bad waiting time for everything.

I took my 4 yr old there for an exam this morning and everyone was great with her! We were seen promptly, they explained to her everything they were doing, and she got stickers

I am not usually one to post bad reviews about businesses but I had a terrible experience here. They brought me in as an emergency, only to tell me that there was no problem with my eye, and the symptoms I had were common and happen to a lot of people. The doctor did not even want to do an actual check up, he only looked into it after he saw how upset I was with his response. All he had to say is that there is nothing he can do about it and that it will go away on its own. I left work early, paid them a $50 co-pay for nothing. They clearly just wanted my money. Customer service was extremely rude to me when I complained. The supervisor, Nina, was even yelling at me on the phone. So unprofessional, I have never been treated like that in any physician's office.

This is the worst eye care Ctr and I had the worst eye doctor (Opthalmologist) I've ever seen.. He couldn't find an eye lash on bottom & irritating my eye every time I blinked. An optometrist found it right away. But the Dr at Tri county caused my eye to become so irritated I could barely see out of it. This place and their Doctors are the worst. It's also filthy! It's a place to stay away from..
