I went to Dr Silbert when I had eye pain that could not be diagnosed for over a year by other physicians. I'm so very glad I took the chance to come here. The surgery went well and the eye pain is gone! I'm very happy with Dr. Silbert and his wonderful staff! Thanks!

Dr. Silbert performed a bylateral Brow Ptosis lift on me in April. I was complaining that it felt as if my eyelashes were holding up my eyelids. After a thorough examination, I was scheduled 4 weeks later for outpatient surgery. Have to admit it look like I was hit by a baseball bat in both eyes. But huge improvement after only a few days. During my post op appt, I told Dr Silbert that I I felt like I had been wearing a visor and now it was removed and more brightness was seen. Definitely need sunglasses at all times. No one noticed my brow lift, , it was very subtle. Just a refreshed look. So very pleased with my procedure, staff and of course Dr. Silbert! Highly recommend his office!! Thanks to my family doctor, Dr. Jessica Walker for the referral..

I had an eye that began tearing too much & would periodically become mildly infected for no reason apparent to me. As an attorney, my eyesight is my most important sense, but I did not know who to choose as an eye doctor specialist. After my own research, I finally decided on Dr. Silbert because he was a widely respected eye surgeon who specialized on children. So I felt he had to be very good with so many people entrusting their children's eyesight to him. I was not disappointed. He diaganosed me with a blocked tear duct, which required surgery to create a small hole in the nasal bone between the tear sac and the inside of the nose. While that may sound painful & intimidating, I was in an out of the LGH day surgery center within 2-3 hours, and went home the same morning with no pain & no complications thereafter. Everything was a breeze. I highly recommend Dr. Silbert to everyone, even to big kids like me who was in his mid-fifties when I had the surgery done!

I had a great experience with Dr. Silbert and his staff at Conestoga Eye. From the minute I walked through the door, I was was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was seen quickly and not rushed. I had upper eyelid surgery and I think the results are amazing. I originally wanted the surgery because my eyelids were impairing my vision, but I am so pleased with the way they look! I can now use mascara, and someone mentioned that she never realized my eyes were blue!

As a grown adult, was concerned when I developed some double vision in my far sight. Driving and even watching a movie were difficult due to the 'blurriness' and again, I needed glasses for distance but my eyes were pretty good and I never had any issues previously. My eye doctor referred me to Conestoga Eye where I was diagnosed with strabismus, the hypertropia version (vertical misalignment). Since I did not wear my glasses all the time, a prism in my lens was not a great option for me so I elected to have Dr Silbert do the surgery to correct the issue. The surgery was a resounding success and my eye sight almost immediately returned to excellent with no blurriness. There was very little down time or discomfort from the surgery. My treatment from the staff and Dr. Silbert himself has been excellent. Highly recommend him and his practice.

Dr. Silvery' staff did such a great job working with my daughter. They were calming, kind, patient, and thorough.

I experienced tremendous care at Conestoga Eye. Dr. Silbert and his team were thorough and completed my eyelid procedure to my complete satisfaction. I would endorse Conestoga Eye for any procedure or consultation related to the eye. A first-class group!

I was a bit worried when my doctor recommended I see Dr. Silbert for evaluation because my eyelids were drooping and sitting on my eyelashes. Because of the gradual decrease over time, I didn't realize how much of my visual field I had lost. After blepharoplasty and ptosis surgery, I was amazed by the increase in my visual field and the natural look of my eyes. (I was worried about looking hollow-eyed or perpetually surprised.) Dr. Silbert and his staff are polite and professional. They helped me with my medical insurance (the procedure was covered due to my loss of visual field) and made sure I understood every step of the procedure. I strongly recommend Dr. Silbert and the staff of Conestoga Eye.

Couldn't even get in the door. Talked to a person that seemed to busy to fit me in or talked to me. I received a coupon towards lenses from a 5K race and I assumed they were looking for new patients. I'm just like everyone else, I work during their working hours. I was looking for times at the end of my 5pm work day. I was told "the doctor only works on Mondays, or I can have another dr see you on November 30" (I called them on November 1st). Considering they are spending money on advertising with local events, I am surprised and disappointed by their customer service with a potential new patient.

I had surgery performed by Dr Silbert on a blocked tear duct. Eye is so very much better after removal of stent. Still not 100% but am glad I met Dr Silbert & his team. Amazing job! Thanks

I was dreading taking my 2 year old the eye doctor. Conestoga Eye has thought of everything to make a child feel comfortable! Their office is clean and organized but still manages to have tons of things to keep kids busy. Dr. Silbert even played "Let it go" on the TV during the visit. Very enjoyable, professional, comfortable. I would highly recommend Conestoga Eye.

Dr Silbert corrrected a blocked tear duct and the result is fantastic. No more uncontrolled tearing and absolutely no discomfort. All the staff is great as well!

I absolutely hate coming to this place. I only had to come because my eye doctor recommended it for my eye surgery. Every time I come in i have sat there for over an hour before I even seen the doctor. It is absolutely ridiculous. If they know they’re busy or backed up all the time they need to hire another doctor and more staff. They have told me that if something unexpected comes up than they try to call there patients and let them know there will be a wait but Ive been there multiple times and every single time I’m sitting there for HOURS and I’ve never been called!! The front desk people are awesome but they need to figure out a system for a better work flow for there patients it’s ANNOYING!

Not too happy with my first experience with my daughter there today. The receptionist was rude, and it took 2 hours (which I expected)and at the end we couldnt even look at glasses for my daughter because the lady(who checks this) said "I cant verify the insurance it must be because it's the beginning of the month". Umm the insurance was verified when I made the appointment. Not looking forward to anymore appointments we have coming up here.

Recently, I moved from out of state to Pennsylvania. When you make a move like this you not only move away from family and friends, but you loose the professional relationships you have built over time and have come to trust, such as doctors, dentists, auto mechanics etc. So this week when I needed an Ophthalmologist, I didn't quite know where to turn. I am so happy & blessed to have found Dr. David Silbert and his wonderful staff! From being greeted and helped by the staff to having Dr. Silberts expert diagnosis, I couldn't have chosen better!! Dr. Silbert was kind, listened to my symptoms, and took the time to get to know about my health. He made recommendations for supplements to encourage my eye health and diagnosed the illness for which I made the appointment. Exactly what a doctor should be! I am a person who asks a lot of questions, and likes to know the hows and whys of things....it didn't bother him a bit lol! All of the staff was not only friendly & helpful, but they never made me feel like I was bothering them! From Michael to Liza to Michelle - all AMAZING, FRIENDLY professionals! The office is clean, up to date, and really pleasant. I have no affiliation with this practice and this is the first time I have visited. I also am not normally the kind of person to leave reviews, but this practice has earned these 5 stars! Great Job and Thank You!

The receptionist and the technician were super nice and friendly. Dr. Silbert wasn’t the friendliest though... I came after being told to do a follow up with my eye doctor and he ignored all the symptoms and was like “oh it’s too strong of a prescription” the prescription he gave me was not much lower. Completely ignored my “ghosting” which is a form of double vision and started when I was put on this one medication. He just said it was the prescription after I told him it was after I was put on the medicine and the place I went to before told me it was most likely the medicine or something worse. He said follow up in a year... so you know can’t see at night very well and he ignored it. He was convinced it My wasn’t prescription, not the medicine even though it started with the medicine. Not going back to him.

My experience at Conestoga eye was amazing. Dr. Silbert changed my life! I had a very serious problem with my Left eye. My vision was 20/200 on my left eye and I had a lazy eye on top of it. For years I've tried to find a Eye doctor/ Surgeon that could preform a surgery to correct my alignment. Unfortunately, I was told by 7 doctors that it was not possible because I was to old, I was 23 years old at the time. I was at the end of my search and Dr. Silbert office came up on my last Google search. Thank God for him because he did the surgery and my eyes are straight and my vision has improved. My right eye has always been 20/20 but it also improved after the surgery its now at 20/15. My left eye is now 20/40. Thank you doctor Silbert and your staff.

Dr Silbert and his staff are outstanding i WOULD recommend him to everyone. A special thank you to Michael for discovering my Glockcoma!!!!

Surgery which was prepaid by credit card and using insurance was back billed for more money after procedure when I was assured all costs were covered. They lower lid resurfacing is WORTHLESS, don’t let the initial charm of the Dr fool you, hes friendly and personable ONLY when he signs you up after that , you are a file number nor he or his staff want to hear from you then , find another avenue.

Rita Snyder

Dr. Silbert did a fantastic job. I had upper eye lid surgery because my upper eyelids had fallen and some of my peripheral vision was blocked. Not only does it look so much better but I can see much better! He and his staff were very professional. THANK YOU DR. SILBERT!

I don't understand how there are negative reviews! Thanks to Dr. Silbert I didn't have to live my life with crossed eyes, I had a total of 6 surgeries and from the ones I can remember, I was never scared before or after, he always made me feel as comfortable as possible! I went to him from infant to pre teen years, every time I saw him he was always kind, caring, patient and understanding. One thing I'll never forget is the dancing toy that sings the Macarena! If you're reading these reviews because you're hesitant about seeing him, don't be! He's a wonderful doctor! Thank you Dr. Silbert for everything!

I'm surprised to see the unfavorable reviews. I'm 72 now and saw Dr Silbert several years ago. But why I think my comments might be relevant is that I lost my eye on mere mins to an occlusion. I was then diagnosed w three other serious ocular disorders that Dr Silbert helped work on in the group practice he was in. ONE WEEKEND ...A SUNDAY...in LGH it was determined I needed an optha eval ASAP...A SUN. In a couple hours there he was.. w his portable gear doing the needed eval. He was personable...HE WAS THERE ON A SUN... speaking reverently of his physician-mom's influence on his obvious diligence. In the superb group practice he was a part of there was a "ridiculous" wait. And indeed it was the long waits I'm reading here. But being a patient w multiple issues...and seeing multiple docs at multiple institutions...over nearly 20 years...I've found that 1 1/2 hrs isn't unusual...w the waits for really sought-after docs being especially long...longer than 1 1/2 hrs. I have "MS" and see a renowned MS specialist. And his wait time? 2 - 4hrs. He's swamp'd...but he's worth it. My experience w Dr Silbert is to likewise conclude he's worth it.

I have complications from droopy eye surgery that was preformed by Dr. Silbert. At my recent post-op appointment Dr. Silbert continuously told me that my eyes look great cosmetically. I did not go to him for a cosmetic procedure. I went to him because my vision was affected from my droopy eyelids. 4 months after the surgery I still cannot see when driving at night and my vision is blurred at times..among other complications. I discussed my complications with Dr. Silbert who dismissed me as a patient and told me he cannot "Satisfy" me and that I should have an eye exam but not at his office...to go somewhere else. He said "My eyes look great cosmetically!" Dr. Silbert "Never" examined my eyes at my post-op appointment. At the present time I have complications and was dismissed by Dr. Silbert. His bedside manners leave much to be desired. Not only do I have complications from droopy eye surgery but it has cost me several thousand dollars out of pocket. Dr. Silbert looks at it as a cosmetic success. But I did not go to a plastic surgeon...I went to him because my eyelids were affecting my vision. After my experience his motto "Nice Matters" is anything but true. He threw me to the curb. Shame on him. Note how there is no reply from Conestoga Eye...

Dr Silbert is so very knowledgeable in his profession and now that he has his own practice, very punctual regarding appointments! I have been seeing him for the past 4 years for a double vision issue which is totally under control. I had eyelid surgery recently and it was a little concerning to me, but Dr Silbert and his staff walked me through each step and "held my hand" before, during and post surgery as well. All went very well and I can see things "above" so much better now! The staff is so very AWESOME and so is the music played in office and surgery!!! ;)

Debra Barshinger

I actually checked into getting eyelid surgery 10 years ago at another Dr’s office and there was no connection of confidence on my part with the Dr. My first meeting with Dr. Silbert and his team was the complete opposite. The results of my surgery and the difference in my eyes is amazing. My family Dr. is so impressed she said she will contact Dr. Silbert for her surgery.

Diane Heisterkamp

Dr. Silbert is a wonderful eye doc. The result of my surgery was better than I hoped for. The office is welcoming and the staff friendly and warm. The motto of the office is " Nice Matters " and they fulfill that theme. I have referred 2 family members and some friends and they'll agree with the above.

I have been going to Dr Silbert since my son was like 5 years old (he is 8 now)and he has performed 2 eye surgeries on my son. I can't say I have ever been a fan of his bedside manner as he is not the most personable, but I continued to take my son there because he has done the surgeries and knows my son's history and I dreaded having to find another doctor. But after the last few visits of having to wait over an hour (almost 2 hours at times) to be seen, I think it is time to find another doctor. I had an appointment last night and when I got there, I asked if it was going to be over an hour wait again and the receptionist said "it's always going to be an hour to 1 1/2 hour wait". I told her it did not used to be that way. She looked and started counting how many people were still to be seen before our appointment and it was at least 5 people and she said that they had some appointments they had to slip in which then pushed other appointments out and made it that the scheduled appointments would wait. That is totally unacceptable! I did reschedule my appointment, but I think it is time to find another eye doctor. Very disappointed!
