Staff and providers are good. But there is a huge lack of communication. I was told a procedure would be covered by insurance. It was, but it left me with over a $600 bill. They did not inform me of this prior. Afterwards they would not even talk to me to discuss it. I love OHSU, but Casey Eye Institute will rip you off.

Been going here for about 3 years now. VERY helpful and informative staff and doctors. Everyone is always very nice and does everything they can to help. Waiting room/exam rooms are always clean. It's as pleasant of an experience as a doctor's office can be. Our family really does appreciate everything Casey Eye has done for us over the years.

staff are rude and non-communicative. the doctor i've been referred to by both my PCP and an ENT denied my referral and won't see me even though my insurance does not require a referral. they do not care about helping people, refuse to talk to you, or your health outcomes. don't go here.

It takes forever to get an appointment, you are mostly seen by residents who continuously use Google to search for answers to your questions. You are less likely to see an actual seasoned doctor. They use us as free teaching patients. I just got called and got asked to reschedule because they wanted to reschedule me with a different resident, I planned my initial appointment on my day off. They gave me limited options and the lady was rude and snarky, just hanged up. Their staff is very rude and arrogant thinking just because they work for OHSU, I would rather go to an actual local clinic with someone that been doing it for a long time. Do not trust your eyes with these guys especially if you have a complicated issue. There are great ophthalmologists in our city that charges less premium than these guys. Don't fall for OHSU.

My daughter was born with a rare retinal detachment in one of her eyes. Four specialist in the Seattle area recommended this hospital and that is where we found Dr Campbell! Being scared new parents we had no idea what to expect and dr. Campbell and his team made this experience a great one for us. My daughter has had a couple eye surgeries here and we go quite often from Seattle and they just make us feel so welcomed and at home every single time. I highly recommend the Casey Eye Institute for all of your eye needs. My daughter will continue to go there for many more years to come.

I’ve been coming to both locations at OHSU for the past thirty years (since I was three months old) due to being a preemie and having cryotherapy eye surgery on both eyes in order to stop my retinas from detaching, the surgery was only successful in one eye (better one than none!

You’re just another number here. In the beginning I thought Dr. Bailey cared and then I switched Doctors and I am learning new things about my eyes I wish I’d known in the beginning. I’d recommend seeing someone who actually cares.

Staff is always very friendly and we get checked-in without having a long wait. They are very understanding and cooperative especially with my son who is 7. He gets extremely scared when it comes to the eye drops. They are calm and patient with him while we work together to get them in his eyes. So Thank You to all the staff and doctors at Casey Eye Institute you all are the very definition of excellent patient care. Three thumbs up to all of you and a 5 star rating from myself and my son!!! You all deserve this rating and so much more. Keep up the great patient service and patient care.

Beware the schedulers! They will cancel your appointment without notice. If there were anywhere else in Oregon that could fix my baby's eye, I would be there already! Shame on Casey Eye institute!

Casey Eye Institute billed us for services that they didn't do. We attempted to dispute the charges. After being passed around to various people in the accounting and customer service department, none of which could explain what the charges were for, they ultimately refused to resolve the problem.
