THEY HAVE ALWAYS GIVEN GREAT EYE HEALTH CARE TO ME & MY FAMILY.

Khrisi Thiele

This office sees a lot of elderly patients but is definitely not elderly friendly. The staff talk and walk too fast, are impatient for answers and will often rush an elderly patient into making a statement by finishing it for them. I was very disappointed when I accompanied my mother to a couple of her appointments. I now attend most of her appointments to make sure she is given the respect and time she needs. I don't care how long it takes, they are not going to treat my mom disrespectfully. The phone system is terrible so my mom doesn't even want to try to navigate it. I watched how the staff interacted with other elderly patients as well and was appalled. Shame on you as an office. Take your time, slow down and treat your patients like people! And don't even get me started on the optical department. It's time to make a change.

Anthony Grimaldi

I have a serious condition in my left eye, and was told by a doctor at EyeHealth NW that I had irreversible optic nerve damage in that eye: a checkpoint on the road to blindness. Very scary stuff. The doctor prescribed a new medication for me that I had never taken before and I was not warned of any side-effects. Within a few days after, my eye turned very red and my vision was slightly blurry, and I was beyond terrified (as any reasonable person would be). I scheduled an emergency visit, as I have absolutely no choice but to be extremely proactive. The same doctor that delivered the news of optic nerve damage to me checked out my eye and reported I (and I quote word-for-word): "Don't need to blow the whistle and schedule an emergency visit over a little side effect". I never had a medical professional be so condescending and express little to no regard for me or my health. I felt like I was treated like a child and nothing more than a mere dollar sign by this doctor. I will not return to Eyehealth NW, ever. I will never forget being treated with little to no empathy for a serious condition. I will say that all the other doctors I saw at EyeHealth NW were great, I have no complaints about them in the slightest. I understand they have very stressful jobs and busy schedules. It's unfortunate that one doctor there ruined my trust for the rest of them.

Mark McDowell

Friendly staff and physician! They did a complete check on my eye health. Much appreciated!

All the staff was great, but was a little long wait. My grandma got her glasses here and she sees perfectly now.

Gary Davidson

With an eye concern, I called the office and received immediate attention and an appointment within a day. The greeting, concern given and prescription from the Doctor occurred within an hour. I received a phone call from the Doctor's assistant 2 days later asking me how I was feeling. Also, a follow-up appointment was made in 2 weeks to check the eye. Overall this experience has been beyond the normal Clinic procedures. Thank you and I hope the eye clinic staff has a wonderful Holiday.

Everything hunky dory!

I love Dr. Paul Stromberg. He is one of the best. He did the surgery on my mother-in-laws cataracts with better than 20/20 results. Dr. Stromberg has been my eye doctor for several years and I trust him completely. BUT. The optical department is unfortunately on the opposite end of the scale. My treatment was so poor..with total focus on UPSELL. It's all about the money. I spent hours picking out a frame. I will not go into all the gory details. I left with the assumption i would be called back to make my final decision. Nope.Start over. I go in again pick out another few to consider. I decided on Vera Wang frames from catalog. I wait. I call several times. No return call. Whoops guess they never were ordered. Wow. I was willing to pay $300 for designer name. More confusion over what insurance covered and the upsell. I leave more confused than the first two sessions. I buy a pair of FOSSIL bling frames elsewhere for $60. I go back for lenses. I sign a waiver because well..i didn't spend $600 to $800 for frames there. Time passes. I call. Surprise surprise my frames broke. I was very upset to see a brand new split and crack. Funny thing..wouldn't you think an optical shop would be able to fit a lens without a new split? I was very shocked and disappointed. I actually called the office to ask if the optical department was a separate business. There was a clerk that did try to help and she did follow through..unlike the first two SALES PEOPLE. Bottom line I have no new glasses and my frames were not replaced. I wasted five months plus hours on phone with no resolution. I will still see Dr. Paul Stromberg for my eye health. He is a great doctor. FIVE STARS PLUS for Dr. Paul. ZERO for Optical Department.

Kelly Peeler

I saw Dr. Hampell. The process from the front of the office, the exam, the prescription, finding frames, fitting glasses, and seeing was amazing. I had the best time with a doctor I have had ever. Dr. Hampell clearly loves his work and is enthusiastic about explaining everything. I referred friends and family already. Thanks EyeHealth Northwest!

Sammie Thompson

Friendly, professional, on time.

Donna Bowers

I've been seeing Dr Chalmers for 12 yrs now. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Christine Fredinburg

Brought my Grandma in for a follow up. Kudos to Gina who was kind and thoughtful from the minute she called our name. My Grandma had a stroke in 2015 and uses a walker. She also has a heart condition which can cause fatigue if she has to move quickly. Right away Gina was thoughtful by noticing that a slower pace would be helpful. So many medical staff are in a rush to move people through and overlook the caring part of Healthcare. Gina was patient and attentive and increased the safety for my Grandma by making sure the brakes were set on her walker and not rushing her around the office. Gina is the exact type of person who I value and trust with someone I love.

Bernard Strathern

I waited for 2 hrs before seeing my doctor. He spent less than 5 min with me, which was enough time to exam me. This is not the first time at this facility for such a long wait time. Milwaukie wait time is about 30 min. Why such a difference?

Ray Sievert

Excellent staff and doctors! Waiting room is always busy, must be a sign of good doctors. Thank you all!

Cathy Cornett

The office was very noisy and not friendly. I was admitted to the back with a very nice young lady who began to take my history to input it in the computer and was interrupted 3 times. One lady came twice asking if my assistant was done and telling her I needed to be moved to another room because a doctor needed that room. She was not pleasant and very rude to the assistant taking my information. A man came and ask also about the room. I was shuffled out to another waiting room even though we were not done, to wait for a doctor to see me. When I saw the doctor he was not friendly, not helpful and made me feel very uncomfortable because his eyes kept going from my face to my chest. Around the third time he did it I cover my chest by crossing my arms in front of myself and he finished the rest of the conversation looking at my face. He really gave me no answers, told me to use warm packs and ibuprofen. He did look in my eyes and said they looked a little red but he didn't see an ulcer. My PCP sent me over because my left eye had been hurting and felt like it was scratched. She put some dye in it and said she did see something where the dye accumulated, hence the visit to your office. I also have a history of ulcerations due to my disease process. How ever the doctor I saw took no time, was not friendly and was headed out the door when he asked if I had any questions. The little gal in the room said "ok your done" and she walked out. I found my way back to the waiting area where my husband was and we left. I will never come back nor will I recommend this office. Even my husband said the lobby was way too loud!

Katherine Phillips

Great staff - especially Dr. Bock who we've been going to for years.

cati sanford

The service was great and the people were very nice. The only problem was that the staff at the front counter said that my insurance covers my exam by the paper I showed them. They proceeded to tell me they will bill my insurance. I then get a bill for $300 almost. I will not pay that. They claim I have no met my deductible, which I understand, my mom works in insurance. What i don't understand is, why didn't they figure this out before my appointment? I assumed it was covered. So frustrating.

Maryellen Schneider

Dr. Bock & assistant are so efficient, knowledgeable, kind & caring. I will always trust him with my eye care. Thank you. Mary Ellen Schneider

David Biedermann

Check-in and exam by the assistant and the doctor were both done professionally and quickly. I also ordered glasses, and want to point out Janean, a ABO certified optician, as very customer oriented, helpful and courteous. Some of the best customer service I've ever received.

Terri Smith

Excellent service. Better than other times.

Tim Dolan

Dr Grealish is an excellent doctor! I appreciate all his help over the years. Laser Surgery is still great.

Sandra Gigear

Jim Ferriss

I have gone there for several years, very busy but good doctors.

DDee Wilder

Fantastic facility, staff and Doctors. Never had a negative issue with anything at this clinic.

Ronald Palmer II

Quality Service with a smile Great staff

Garry wilson

In on time everyone polite and efficient.

Joyce Boucher

My entire family has gone to Eye Health Northwest for several decades. From Lasik surgery through scratched corneas, regular exams & glasses to my Moms Bel's Palsy, we have always gotten thorough exams & explanations that we can understand. Everyone from registration on has been courteous & thorough in completing our visit.

Lana Kroll

Eyehealth NW has always exceeded my expectations in assessing my eyes go above and beyond

Kathryn Force

Everyone at Eye Health were friendly. and explained everything I needed to know. My Doctor was Great, and explained the procedure for my cornea transplant, and answered all my questions.

Courtney Monaghan

I think the Doctors and staff are great. Very friendly and courteous. My only issue is the constant "over booking" the parking lot is frequently full requiring parking on the street. Almost every single time I have gone in for an appointment the wait time is up to an hour or more past my appointment time. I understand that sometimes things beyond their control occur but this shouldn't happen at every appointment .

Tom Nunn

I had some sudden vision problems and called EyeHealth Northwest to make an appointment. They got me in the same day and, although they were busy, they took all the time they needed to do a thorough exam.

Melissa Burton

Having had glasses my whole life-this has been the consistently best service I have received. Between the kind and interactive doctors, nurses, and secretaries and even the optical team make it no longer a chore to keep my eyes healthy. Thank you so much.

Janet Judge

Within the last two months I have had cataract surgery done on both eyes. Dr. Waldman explained all the lens options available to help me make a decision on which to choose. I was then scheduled for surgery. The staff at the surgical center were professional, efficient and caring. I was very nervous but their explanations of what would occur during surgery were thorough and everyone preparing me was very understanding which made me feel more at ease. The first surgery went smoothly, Dr. Waldman did an excellent job, and I was home before I knew it. The result was amazing. My vision in that eye was crystal clear. A month later the second eye was done, again with a compassionate but very professional staff preparing me, and I had the same great result. I am very pleased with my experience with the surgical center and, particularly, Dr. Waldman. I would definitely recommend anyone needing cataract surgery consider EyeHealth Northwest.

Tatyana M.Rebikh

I had my surgery done here a week ago, very professional staff, Dr Grealish and his team were an answer to my prayers. Never had to wait past my appt time to get in. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Patricia Carlson

I was a patient/client of Eye Health NW for 42 ears and quit them today. Loved my doctor but finally got totally fed up with the rude, uncaring, rigid administrative staff.

Joyce Turner

yes there's a wait, and it can get frustrating. But as soon as you are seen, the staff and doctors couldn't be more wonderful.

Dorothy Wishart

Hank Noble

They are very efficient, and extremely knowlegefull; just plain nice.

Douglas Eliason

Had a problem with being shedualed at the wrong location, but was quickly resolved and the part I am impressed with is they quickly owned up to it, no sidestepping no excuses. Had to switch medication after I purchased for upcoming eye surgery. They have other to reimburse me on the cost. You don't usually get that from other companies. The people are very friendly, the doctor are great.

John Hamby

Great ophthalmology practice, with courteous and efficient staff throughout, from the front desk, to clinical assistance staff, billing, and the doctors. I have been a patient for 25 years and plan on staying right here for my eye care services.

Janyce Andre

Jeannine Glennon

This place is run like a well oiled machine! Everyone is very friendly .

My son had an eye exam. All staff members and Dr. Bock were compassionate, efficient, and knowledgeable.

EXTREMELY rude administrative personale, not sure if I want to be yelled at when I'm scheduling an appointment. Take your business somewhere else.....

Ernie Laitinen

Great Service and eyes are now 20/20

My husband is being treated for Retinopathy and every time he has gone in (once a month for the last 4 months) they are running behind. Yesterday his appointment was at 1:00 and they didn't get him in until 2:25 and then he still had a lot of wasted time sitting around waiting for the next step. He did not get out of the office until 4:30. They need to quit trying to squeeze in so many patients.

Kathy Nielsen

I find the entire staff, from reception to the doctors, to be professional, welcoming & informative. My wait times have always been minimal and I get the impression that they strive to meet appointment times, and yet, I have never felt rushed during my exam. I absolutely would recommend EyeHealth Northwest for any & all things optical.

Irene Carrillo

My visit was fine. The check-in was fine, I just stood around until someone acknowledged my presence as always. The woman checking me in was not rude, but she wasn't friendly... my apt. was at 3:40 pm, so maybe she was tired. The young woman who came and took me in was not rude, but not friendly either... seems to be the theme. I think the staff are very process oriented and they forget that in addition to providing a service, they are also dealing with people. I actually walked behind her thinking to myself, wow this lady is hard to read (poker face) and she never smiled. I walked behind her thinking how easy it would be to ask how my day is going or just to slow down and smile! She did her thing and so did the doctor. The doctor was actually nicer than everyone else. He actually looked at me and asked about my day! The young guy who came in with him was also very quiet and into his process. Overall I got the service I needed in a timely manner, however, I think the staff need to stop focusing so much on their process and stop, take a breath, and realize that they are in the business of serving people. Smiles don't take much time at all and they are free!

Beth Goldstein

Wonderful experience all around. Dr Greylish is experienced so helpful very calming and he made me see! Michelle is beyond helpful even when I was late

Missy Lipe

We like Eyehealth NW good exam great Dr.

Elizabeth Schnell

Respectful, efficient and professional!

Busy Momma

Positives: Very nice assistant to the doctor, very professional eye exam. Ultimately, got what I came for which was a new prescription. Cons: Was not told that there is a separate charge for a "Contact Evaluation" above and beyond the standard vision exam. Made my co-payment and then I was asked for an additional $60 before I could leave. Eyes were dilated - I was not told this would be a part of my exam. No one asked if I had a driver, someone to call, etc...driving while dilated is not SAFE! Seems kind of important to mention... Upon leaving, my follow up appointment was scheduled at the wrong location. Had I not checked my paperwork, I would have ended up without a doctor to do my follow up exam. The soonest available as a result is one month out, not one week as per the doctor's request. Overall, I am disappointed with the administrative staff of Eye Health NW.

I’m always reluctantly to go to the optometrist. I’ve been to quite a few in the past 10 years and am still trying to find a clinic that I fit well with. My visit to EyeHealth Northwest was really just average. The assistants and desk workers were nice, although the actual doctor was a tad condescending. If you do make an appointment, be prepared to wait around for service. I ended up having a 2 hour long appointment (the longest I’ve ever had) and when I went in they insisted on dilating my eyes. I asked if it could be avoided because I would need to read my GPS to navigate to an appointment following my eye exam. They insisted that it was necessary to get an accurate read on my current prescription, so I reluctantly agreed. I did want an accurate prescription.. The dilation proved to be completely unnecessary. The doctor determined what changed in my prescription before my pupil dilation, and then looked at my eyes for maybe a minute after they were dilated and said “ok I was correct.” This seems like it was completely pointless, and it definetly COULD have been avoided especially since I needed to be able to read up close for my upcoming appointments later that day. As I said, my experience was not terrible, but it was not amazing either. I overall feel like the staff didn’t listen to what I wanted as a patient and treated me as if I didn’t know any better. This eye clinic may be a perfect fit for some people, but it simply wasn’t for me.

Sue Sanman

In my recent visit to Oregon City the doctor was over half N hour late for a 9am appointment. Other than that, the service and quality were fine.

leslie McDowell

Always great service at our Oregon City Office.

Stacy Johnston

They took real good care of me today.

Elaine Whitney

The people were very friendly and professional. I am very happy with the service I got.

Wendy Martinson

I have had ok experiences and even good experiences at EyeHealth Northwest but this visit was outstanding. Michele, the technician, was warm and friendly. She did a great exam and was very knowledgeable. I enjoyed chatting with her and felt very comfortable. The doctor who’s name I can’t recall (the new doctor from Utah) was outstanding. In the past the doctors have barely said hello before they were done and out the door. This new doctor again was very warm and caring. He took the time to explain some eye issues related to aging with me. He also told me a little about himself. I was ready to find a new eye doctor because of blah past experiences but I think I will stick around for a few more years.

My husband Lawrence Yip has taken the cataract surgery on his right eye on 4-4-2019 by Dr. Charles Bock from the Eyehealth Northwest. Dr. Bock has done a tremendous job on the procedure, Lawrence said there is no pain at all. On the next day after he took off the eye patch, he can see things very clear by the right eye. He has not seen thing that clear since he was young. We highly recommend Dr. Charles Bock to the people who has cataract and eye problem. Besides being an excellent eye doctor, he cares about the health of the patients too, this is a good sign of an outstanding doctor. We give Dr. Charles Bock a 5 Stars. Lawrence is going to have the cataract procedure on his left eye at the first part of next month. We firmly believe it will be a smooth surgery like the right eyes. We have confidence on Dr. Charles Bock. Thank you from our very heart, Dr. Bock! Mrs. Simi Yip

Extremely slow turn around for glasses. The doctor was extremely cold and made me feel uncomfortable when he called over the student doctor to explain what was wrong with my eyes. He literally said it was a really bad case and a great example of what to look for then never explained to me what he was talking about. Will never go back. When I got my glasses at Oregon city I asked multiple times to have them sent to the milwaukie location for pick up. Not once but twice they have messed this up and when I called to find my glasses the woman was extremely rude on the phone and hung up on me without telling me when I could pick up my glasses. Do not recommend this company.

Nicole Goodyear

Check in was routine and reception was friendly and cheerful. The lady who processed me and tested me was very knowledgeable and efficient. When she found out that I wanted to do my second catarract, she did all the work up to save me a second trip. This was my first visit with Dr Weber. I was directed to him upon Dr Stromberg's retirement. I do find the doctor's interaction with the patient minimal and the process rather routine and impersonal. And there is always a too long wait between all the testing and when the doctor finally appears. Finally, when I left, I stopped at the check out desk and asked for a business card for the doctor. No future appointment was mentioned. I later a occasion to call to cancel letters from Dr Stromberg about annual Diabetic eye exam only to find out that my 2020 exam was scheduled. This was never discussed with me at the time.

Paul Jarrett

The technician who did all the preliminary work did an exceptional job of making me feel welcomed and a person, not an object to be treated. She also appeared to be higher than average in competence when answering my questions.

Rich Gibler

Doris Newton-Skinner

Dr. Grealish is the best. Takes his time, explaining everything. Always ask if I have any questions or concerns!! Highly recommend Dr. Grealish!!!!

Hannah Davis

This place sucks. They make you wait forever and the eye doctor can take up to 20 minutes before he even sees you. Every time I try to order my contacts over the phone they never get back to me and when I try to order them in store the contact specialist is never there or they take forever to get to you. Do yourself a favor and find a different place to go for your vision needs.

Carol Seiffert

I went in with unexplained lights flashing in my eyes and the doctor discovered a very serious issue that was far more important and needed immediate attention. I was in surgery the next day to save my eyesight. Thank you so much for being so thorough in the exam.

Jessica Murren

Always amazing care from start to finish! Dr. McKinney and his staff are the best! I would never go anywhere else!

Bill Roberts

Excellent, caring doctors and staff

marty reagan

The reason I go to Eye Health Northwest, and have gone there for several years, is because the doctors are very professional and do great work. A serious issue with the clinic though are the long wait times. These are both to be taken back in, and the subsequent wait for the doctor to see you. This later part can be up to a half hour. One time I waited two hours before being taken back but that has only been once. Given how scary vision issues are for everyone, excellent work far outweighs long wait times so I will definitely continue to go there. I sure dread my visits though because of these wait times.

Marcella Rae Bennett

Absolutely luv my glasses, the prescription is pristine, the clarity is great. I wear them every day, luv to put them on 1St thing in the morning to see clearly without any blurriness. Thankyou Dr. Skalet& the Vision Center Technicians.

Cheryl Merrill

I have been going to this clinic for several years with an intense eye condition and have been treated so very fabulously - I feel incredibly blessed to experience everyone from the Front Desk Staff to my Dr. and his staff. They are each and everyone a class act.

Mary Merlin

The person who answered the phone (on 9-10-19) to set the appointment was so disrespectful it made me decide not to trust them with my child

Albert Sexton

I had cataract surgery in on eye. Prior to surgery I was sent to pick up drops at the pharmacy. Much to my surprise the total for 2 prescriptions was over $500! I called eye health nw, they told me I could get the drops through the mail for $80. Why didn't they tell me that at my examine. Did they really think I might pay $500 and someone would be making a big profit. Also the surgery left me with dry eye. The Dr. said cataract surgery does not cause dry eye. There is a wealth of information on the internet that says otherwise. Not a happy patient.

Warren Harrison

I've been going to Eyehealth NW for over 20 years, and they've seen me through multiple ailments. Their medical staff has always been top notch and I've been absolutely delighted with the quality of care I've received. However, over the years their office operation has gone from acceptable to downright dismal. I just returned from what should have been a 10 minute pressure check but ended up being there almost an hour and a half because once again, the 5 or 6 stations on the front desk were staffed by only two people trying to check patients in and verify their information as well as check patients out with follow-up appointments. Likewise, most of their techs seem to stay for only a short time. I literally am seen every six months, or in some cases more frequently, and have been since the late 1990s and I've never seen the same tech twice. This year, the tech doing my annual refraction recorded the wrong measurements on my script resulting in purchasing a couple of pairs of glasses that I had to throw away, plus paying for a re-exam somewhere else to verify the script was incorrect. Over the years, the practice appears to have grown a great deal, but they still seem to have retained the administrative staffing for a practice half the size. I'll keep going there because the doctors are so good, but they really need to examine their staffing levels.

Ken Dahl

Very friendly Doctors & Staff, thorough exam. Listened to my questions and offered good advice and solutions. My Wife & I love EyeHealth Northwest.

Sherrilynn Rawson

Office staff are friendly, assistants are pleasant and efficient. Most important, doctors here take time to listen and they are very knowledgeable. I take medication for an autoimmune disorder that can impact eyesight, and the doctor here is always up to speed on the latest research regarding the potential side effects. Highly recommend.

Richard Sternberg

As usual the parking lot was full even though I arrived 5 minutes before appointment time. And once again had to wait in the busy waiting room over an hour. This is getting very tiresome!

Molly Williams

The staff is great. I really like Dr. Flannery. However, while in the waiting room on one visit, a woman and son were face timing on her phone. Everyone could hear her conversation. Then, the next time I went, a man was on his cell phone speaking very loudly in Spanish. So rude of both parties. I think you should have a sign asking for cell phone silence. Other than that, I would highly recommend Eye Health Northwest.

Elizabeth Flaherty

Really great selection and variety of glasses! All the staff I interacted with were super nice and Eva did a great job helping to find the right glasses for me.

Dwaine Prink

Good Dr., Good staff, and cataract surgery on both eyes turned out better than expected. Very satisfied.

Charlie Shaw

Buyer beware. Purchased a pair of $609 digital lenses an upgrade from the high index 1.67 which was purchased the time before from them for $300 and something, at the suggestion of the sales staff. They charged the $609 and said they were digital lenses, but actually they were high index.NOT digital at all. Cheats not very ethical business practices. This matter is so important to me because these glasses are for my six year old son who has a prescription of-10. Poor thing. Charlie Shaw

Jigar Patel

Hi This is Jigar Patel. I have been to EYEHEATLH NORTHWEST for the treamtment of CHALAZIA on my left eye. The treatment was done by DR.SHANE KIM and I am really greatful to him about his excellent treatment. My eye is better now. He put some steroid injection and within few days the chalazia has gone forever. Thanks a lot!! Regards, Jigar

Dr Meier is a wonderful contact lens physician! He made minor adjustments for my vision in a matter of minutes, ordered a trial pair to be mailed, and handed me a new contact lens prescription, all within 12 minutes. Eye Health NW has been my eye provider for 55 years. Congratulations Dr Brent Chalmers on your upcoming retirement!

Cathleen Manseau

Wonderful staff! They made the whole thing an easy experience and we're so helpful and caring the entire time I was there.

Derek Owen

I had a major issue with my eye caused my ignoring my wife and wearing my contacts my longer than I should have. I was a new customer and they got me in the same day, saw me early, accepted my insurance and the doctor who looked at me was spot on. I had a deep cut ok my eye and they had me out with antibiotics waiting at Walgreens in no time. If you go here in an emergency you can expect high professionalism as well as great service.

Laura Bullick

This was the first time at this location. I had a great experience as always with Dr. Meier. I used to see him at the Milwaukee location. He is worth the drive from Vancouver. Thank you

Cindy Brandt

Getting into my appointment was timely. Start of exam went well but once my eyes were dilated, I literally sat in the room for almost 40 minutes. I had to remind the staff that I was still sitting in the room waiting for my exam to be completed. I was very frustrated that I was at my appointment for almost an hour and a half... way too long. Maybe if the staff wasn't just chatting out at their station, things could be a bit more efficient for patients.

Robert

My experience at EyeHealth NW was very good. The people that work there are very professional. The wait time was only 2 minutes before I was seen be the eye care staff. Thanks.

meegan Vann

Super sweet staff. Explains every step of the process. My entire family goes here!

Ellen Yager

Tiffany Duchemin

Had a great appointment, friendly staff and they saw me even though I was 20 minutes late. They understood the bus schedule. The wait time wasnt long either.

Tiffany McAbee

Be prepared to wait a couple hours for your appointment. Also, I called tonight at 5:25pm to simply ask what my prescription number is. I was kept on hold until 5:29, just to have them say,"sorry we are closed and I'm not gonna look up your information" When I stated that they close at 5:30, and I called five minutes ago, she responded "yeah, that's in 1 minute. Call back tomorrow." You can't take 30 seconds to look up my prescription number?? Really? What happened to customer service? I needed that number tonight. Sorry you wanted to be off the clock, but you can't stop helping customers just because it's almost closing time. What a crock. So unhappy. Between this and the 2 hour wait time during my last appointment, I will not be back.

Richard Atwater

My appointment started on time, check-in was brief, and I got a competent exam, every thing went according to plan. I have high confidence in them. I needed cataract surgery, performed at their East Side Surgery Center, and again everything went exactly on time and well executed, and I left smiling and able to see well again. They are pros in the eye care world.

Beth Love

James Lamascus

O.C. office the lady who checked me in was very courteous and friendly. My wait time was 15 minutes and the young man that came out to take me back was very nice and friendly and smiling. I feel he did and excellent job on my eye exam and Dr Gearhart went over things with me so I could understand what he was talking about. It was a very good overall appointment. Thanks!

Sandy Flick

Wanda Shearer

Staff friendly and helpful. New glasses are working fine. Would definitely recommend them to friends.

Christine Burford

By far the most assumptive and demeaning appointment I've ever had. I went in for a basic exam since it had been a few years. I was helped by 2 different aides and after a very long wait, the Dr. finally came in. He assumed I wanted glasses without prior discussion and told me that some people "think they need them" and that if I wanted him to prescribe me something they "may help me psychologically" This was all said to me before even looking at my eyes or talking to me!

Jerry Parsons

I’ve been going to Oregon City office and have been very satisfied with my care. They have a great team of doctors.

Christopher Perillo

Roselie Monaghan

Have always had great care and service at Eyehealth Northwest. Really loved Dr Stromberg and thought him a great doctor. Was sorry he retired at the end of November but he highly recommended his replacement Dr Webber and I agree. I recently had cataract surgery on my right eye which Dr Webber performed and all went smoothly and everyone at the surgical facility was great, very considerate and caring. I was scheduled to have my left eye done on January 31 but got terribly ill with a very bad cold and didn’t see any end in sight so I canceled my surgery on Tuesday. I have been trying to contact his surgical coordinator, Holly, to reschedule and haven’t been able to talk to her. I’ve called three times this week and have not received a call back once. I think in all the years I’ve been coming to Eyehealth, some twenty plus years, this is the first time this has happened. I will continue to try and contact her but find this frustrating.

Not a company I want to deal with again. I paid $750 for the first half of Laser surgery but they could not do laser so were supposed to refund the money. That was on March 17th now they want more money and for what I do not know.

I will always go here, everyone is so nice and friendly. I had cataract surgery and every thing went perfect. Thankyou for everything.

I have been going for over 5 years to different Eye Health Northwest clinics. Their doctors are all excellent and busy. Yes, it takes a while to see someone but there is a reason. They're good. Very friendly, but they sure could use a coffee pot in the lobby. How about putting it in the kids room? Move them. Or put it over to the new glasses area. I would be happy with that. Thanks.

Great overall service. Outside is a little run down though.

Dan Kelley

GREAT AND FRIENDLY STAFF. SURGERY WAS A BREEZE.

Mike Perry

Showed early for my appt. Asked to be seen early if possible as I have a busy day. Sat in waiting room for 1 hour, which was 30 minutes past my appt time. Then it was another hour to get thru the doctor visit.

Kris Nelson

Great, friendly service!

Llame para hacer una cita y espere en la línea durante 30 min. La operadora de muy mal genio no me quiso hacer una sita por que yo no podía pronunciar bien el inglés, según ella. Muy déspota la operadora y poco amable.

I have been visiting the optometrist since 3rd grade and have NEVER had an experience that was as frustrating as my contact lens/glasses eye exam. The doctor was incredibly condescending and kept offering me several complex options at once and demanding I chose one although none corrected my vision properly. He kept asking me “what I wanted him to do” and I eventually told him I have no idea as he was the eye doctor and I am not—and that I had never been asked by an eye doctor how I would suggest they correct my vision. At one point my frustration was so great I started crying but the doctors delivery never changed and none of the three aides who were in and out stepped in to help clarify communications, although I asked each to try to talk to the doctor. I would just go back to my old eye doctor (this one was just closer to my new job) but I cannot until my insurance resets for a new appointment (12 months) and am on a third follow up appointment for a set of contact lenses that don’t properly correct my vision, but will have to do for a year. As the folks in the optical department are very rude, I will not purchase any hardware at this location and will never return to Eye Health NW. I will say, although sadly understaffed, the reception and scheduling folks are kind, caring and professional, which I cannot say for anyone else I’ve interacted with at this office. Too bad as it breaks my 45 year streak of never having a bad eye doctor!

My appointment was before lunch, so everything went smoothly. No one was tired or rude. My technician was polite, efficient and easy to talk to. She was able to answer all of my questions to my satisfaction. Dr. Weber was personable, and also easy to talk to. He answered questions to my satisfaction. I will recommend this practice to others.

All the people were very nice.

I've had 2 appointments at this clinic with 2 different doctors in 2 years. Each time I was brought in in a timely manner. The testing was done efficiently. I didn't have to wait too long for the doctors. They listened to my concerns. It was a good experience. I felt I got a thorough examination.
