67 years of debilitating vision...cataracts....subsequent eye surgery and oh my god...didnt know I could wake up in the morning...open my eyes and see the world without fumbling for glasses or contacts.. amazing the staff is professional friendly and caring I love love love this group of awesomehumans

Wow, I waited 2 months to be seen here. My appointment was 11:15am and I arrived early. After waiting almost an hour in the waiting room I was finally called back and the doctors assistant went over my history and why I was there. He then told me they were a little behind today and he was hoping to get the doctor to come in and see me between patients?. What the heck? I was a patient! I had made an appointment to see this doctor and not his assistant, not to be seen briefly cause he was busy. I waited another 20 minutes, it was now past 12:30pm, lunch time. I decided this was not the type of medical clinic I wanted treatment from. Medical clinics now are very good at keeping patient appointments on time or keeping tabs on how long your wait is and communicating. Eugene eye care has no respect for a patients time and that it’s just as valuable as theirs.

From initial visit to last post-op, my care was exceptional. Well run front office, super competent assistants, then onto the wonderful Dr. Neale—all of it was wildly UNtraumatic. The Lane Surgery Center also gets huge kudos from me and the surgery was actually forgettable! The difference in my vision is vast. Could not ask for anything more. My sincere thank you.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Matthew Neale. Besides being an excellent ophthalmologist and surgeon, he is also a very nice person with a wonderful manner. Yesterday I had cataract surgery on my right eye, just one week after the surgery on my left eye. I went to see Dr. Neale today, and I'm happy to report that I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes! Plus, I can read all but the smallest print without glasses too. I am absolutely thrilled and am very thankful to God and to Dr. Neale.
