The staff are so eager to schedule you an appointment that they don't even listen–let alone answer–your questions.

My Aunt visiting from out of town just dropped in here after she broke her glasses. They happily fixed then and wouldn't even let her pay for the repair. She says this is the place to get your glasses from! Awesome service!

Bob Johnson

Always have had a good experience when I go in, this is year 4 and never had a bad visit. I can get glasses in the same building for convenience. Might cost a bit more but easy to have it all in one location.

Ronny Williams

Very friendly staff, professional experience. I will be referring people to Cascade Eyecare.

I went to Cascade where I have been doing business for five years to replace a scratched lens. After the glasses clerk added all the cost up for the replacement, it totaled over $650.00. She went to the back room and upon returning declared: We can't sell you a replacement until you have a re-test for reflection and that costs another $54.00. I informed her that I was going to have cataract surgery with Dr.Mark Maffet in the near future and it made no sense to pay over $700.00 for a simple lens replacement for a scratch and then have the operation. I left and am in the process of locating another company to do business with. Larry West: Grants Pass

i would not go back to Cascade Eye Care if you paid me...i started going there to Dr. Leavitt's father 25 years ago, who i adored and had a wonderful relationship with , even though we had a little confrontation once which i tried talking to his son about, who works there now , but his son couldn't handle the conversation and split with an immature demeanor. But, that's not the only thing wrong with Cascade Eye Care...walking through there is almost spooky compared to 25 years ago...now, the whole place is about pushing glasses on you...they don't tell you that you are having a 'lens exams' you are required to pay $40 upon leaving...they break that news to you after you start to leave...and you have to leave with all these 'glasses' they want to sell you looking at you in the face...all employees are dressed in black, all women no men, most over weight, no make up, no individuality...Dr. Leavitt dresses like a hippie compared to any of his staff...i think this place will go well with really older people...i doubt anyone in their right mind , who is younger and wants vibrant, professional care , would go there...Dr. Leavitt's aid is pleasant and professional but Dr. Leavitt can not handle confrontation without freaking out just goes into the denial mode and does not really 'care'...regardless, the interior of the office, the staffs' dull black attire, lack of a male helper at the windows and rank , overbearing commercialism leaves a rotten taste in my mouth...i'm getting another Dr. in Medford...oh, well...times are a changing...

Great staff, knowledgeable doctors and a welcoming environment. I loved it so much I had my parents and husband go there. I highly recommend it!

Jennifer Burkes

This place is a joke. They don't care, don't want to help. The only thing they do want is your money. It's impossible to find affordable eye glasses there. They won't explain the charges to you IN PLAIN ENGLISH. You better have some medical terminology down to understand what you will have to pay out-of-pocket. I'm stuck with glasses where a corner of the lens keeps moving. This isn't "making noise"--this is flat-out moving. WHo cares? Expect a long wait to find an available appointment. I guess people in Grants Pass are content with lousy service.

My exam took 15 minutes, it took 45 minutes for the glass lady to get me done. Many of the staff are morbid obese and not the most healthy place to be. Can't breath etc. They took 30 minutes to figure out my wifes new glasses and her exam took 15 minutes. They have major process issues.

Carol Stahl

My husband made his yearly vision exam a year ago, and after his exam this year they informed him that they would not be billing our vision insurance, it would go to the medical and we would have to pay whatever they didnt pay. Thier lame excuse is that he has mild cataracts, but he had them last year and he didnt make the appt for his cataracts he made it for his vision, he didnt even need new glasses! They are just wanting to bill the medical to get more revenue, they are unethical and dishonest. The service and prices were never great, but this was the last straw, we will not be returning. Do yourself a favor and find an ethical provider.

What a relief to be treated like a human being by caring doctors and staff. A pleasant antidote to the awful experience I had at Medical Eye Center!

Difficult to find low price eyewear.

We needed an ophthalmologist following an eye injury, so it was an emergent situation. We phoned Cascade EyeCare Center and immediately got an appointment with Dr. Guymon. The back office staff was so caring and compassionate that we felt that we had been their patients forever. And, Dr. Guymon was over-the-top compassionate, knowledgeable, and expert in the care he provided. Words cannot express how thankful we are for the care that we received. What a blessing it is to have found Cascade...and Dr. Guymon, and his amazing assistant, Nicole.
