This clinic is fantastic. Several years ago I woke up with Shingles in my r eye. The doctor diagnosed them and then, as it was a Friday she gave me her phone number, both at home and her cell . Told me if I got worse instead of better over the weekend I was to call her and she would meet me at the clinic and treat whatever was going on. I am 74 years old and have never had a physician of any sort give me a cell number to reach them over a weekend. Use this clinic and you won't be sorry ever.

I have been going to Baker Vision Clinic for 22 years. I love that every time I walk into the office I am greeted by friendly staff. The wait time is very minimal regardless of how busy the office may be. I can bring my children with me, they are welcomed and just recently Dr. Blankenship took the time to hold my little lady while her assistant finished up with her portion of the exam. She acted as if she had nothing better to do than make sure my child was content. It's nice to spend time in a doctor's office that doesn't make you feel like just another number.

When we first moved to Eastern Oregon in 2001 many weren't pleased with the choices in La Grande so I looked at others that I would have to travel to and I found Baker Vision Clinic. I go back every year because it is worth the 45 minute drive to be so well taken care of. The staff along with the doctor's are such a breath of fresh air with professionalism and personal warmth! They have everything that you could possibly need. The best and latest equipment to make your visit go quickly. My favorite was the latest addition helped to not have to dilate the pupils!!!

I had terrible vision when I was younger and had corrected lenses for most of my young life. I loved my eye doctor that I had from the little town in western Oregon that I grew up. When I moved to Baker as a young adult, I wasn't sure I would find someone I could trust as much as the doc that I had known "my whole life". I was wrong. I visited Dr. Sheryl Blankenship at Baker Vision Clinic and after my first visit, I knew that I was at the right place. She - along with the other doctors and staff - are very professional, kind, proactive in my eye care and genuinely care about me. Dr. "B" and Dr. Elms walked me through the possibilities of Lasik surgery and calmed my nerves as I made the decision to do it - the best decision that I ever made 20 years ago. Today, my husband and two boys go to Baker Vision Clinic as well. Taking my young boys to see an eye professional was another smart decision as Dr. B was able to give one of my sons some techniques to strengthen and correct his eye muscles - warding off potential corrective lenses. It worked as he is now 16 and has not had to wear glasses - yet. Not saying it won't happen but I do believe it helped at that young age. I really couldn't ask for better care - from everyone at Baker Vision Clinic. Love them all!

I have lived in 11 states over the years and this was by far the best eye clinic I have ever been to. The entire staff were courteous, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. I was comfortable the entire time and Dr. Mitchell was especially great. To say he changed my life would not be an overstatement. While there, I told him I was having trouble seeing at night and upon closer inspection he noticed my contacts weren't "fit" to my eye very well. After some adjustments he suggested some new contacts and the past two years have been amazing...no trouble at night anymore! Upon leaving the ladies up front were very helpful with my insurance information and I left with a smile. I write this today because I have moved away from Baker and just had to go to a new eye doctor...I think I might start making the trip back up there just to see these guys! I would definitely recommend to anyone up in the area looking for friendly, quality, professional eye care!
