I always feel like I’m getring quality care with each visit. The girls at the front desk are very friendly and take the time to explain everything to you. I also appreciate the extra sanitizing in between each process. Thank you Dr Lims team for being helpful and nice. I’m very comfortable with Dr Lim and her level of expertise.

In short they were great. As far as I can tell problem solved. I saw Dr. Sims for eye focusing/movement pain that has been badly enough I've gone to the emergency room for it. Thursday I was told by my state insurance agent in a nut shell I'm screwed for coverage. He didn't apparently know what he or I was talking about and when I called OES Fine, Hoffman & Sims they said they could see me. I was distraught and upset chasing down last hopes but they calmly informed me how incorrect the state insurance agent was. I was luckily scheduled in the next day. On Friday I got to see them without any trouble. They were fast in everything they did except my wait time. Which was clearly because they see a lot of people. Bring a book or something. I'm not complaining. But they were fast and accurate at everything they did. Whole thing took about an hour & thirty minutes for my visit. It's now Saturday evening and I have glasses that let me see without the pain. If you're unsure of where to go I recommend checking these guys out. Apparently they're also famous for their surgery.

Dr Sims is a top rate professional. I live in Los Angeles and have a second home in Oregon. Not only is Dr. Sims highly skilled as a surgeon and eye doctor, but she is encyclopedic in her knowledge about eyes, surgery and eye health. She has performed several procedures on me and every experience was easy, uncomplicated, not painful and 100% successful. I would recommend her, and her wonderful staff, as well as their surgical center, across the board and unqualifiedly.

My cataract surgery with Dr. Sims was one of the most upsetting experiences in my health care history. Her "bedside manner" was actually shocking, no patience with my concerns or questions. As an example, when I described a vision issue post surgery (which I still have), her response was, "You and everyone else who comes in here"! My change to a gentle, caring and skillful eye surgeon has been like changing planets.

Mom had her glaucoma "treated" by this "doctor" who thinks she's better than actually good doctors. She had an extremely rude and curt disposition and absolutely no bedside manners to speak of. Truly gifted doctors whom we've had the pleasure of being tended to who were graduates of accredited medical schools had amazing manners, those degreed from Harvard, John's Hopkins, OHSU, Yale, Stanford, Chicago Med, etc, but not this subpar, below average, run of the mill, and what seemed to be a Florida-online-degree-having "doctor" Annette Chang Sims. One wonders when it comes her turn to be treated for anything, karma may bite her in her useless, heinous bottom. Just an all around ugly person. I do not recommend this bottom of the barrel eye doctor for anything but your regular eyeglass exam. Mom eventually went to Dr. Neale, a genuine 5 star award winning ophthalmologist at Eugene Eye Care on Country Club Rd and is thrilled with his treatment plan and ongoing care for her eyes.

Dr Sims is an excellent surgeon with very fine motor control. She'll tell you how it is, without any sugarcoating. For some patients, this can be upsetting. My experiences with her have all been excellent. Don't expect hand holding - expect that she'll do what's best for your vision.

I found Dr. Sims to be rude and condescending without bedside manner. My 16 year old daughter had a routine exam today with Dr. Sims. After the technician performed multiple tests we waited too long for the doctor to arrive. Then she spent maybe 3 minutes looking at my daughter's eyes and sent her on her way. When my daughter asked her what her visual acuity was, Sims acted as if it was none of her concern. When I asked Dr. Sims if my daughter can get glasses today, she replied "I wouldn't know, I'm a doctor and a surgeon. You need to go out and ask someone at the desk". Don't let the frills of the office fool you. This is a run-them-through outfit with at least one nasty "doctor".
