I had a terrible eye infection and had seen 3 eye doctors (including 1 at Dean McGee Eye Institute) for at least 2 months, and it continued to look worse and worse. Then a friend recommended Dr Hummel. I saw him 1 time and he gave me some eye ointment and a script for eye drops. It cleared up almost completely within a week!!! Wonderful doctor!

Best, best, best staff ever! After an optometrist and two ophthalmologists couldn't correct my vision with glasses, and after the two ophthalmologists told me I needed cataract surgery, I decided to try Hummel Eye Associates. I am so glad I did! The Dr told me I barely had a cataract, only in one eye, and that he wouldn't do surgery on me even if I asked him to. And special thanks to Cindy, who took time checking my prescription and was able to get me into glasses that corrected my vision to 20-20 in one eye and 20-25 in the other. From the minute I came in, throughout the appointment, and while I picked out frames, everyone was super friendly and helpful. I am so thankful I found this place!

I think Dr. Hummel is the best eye doctor ever. He and his staff are so efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. When I leave there after having had an eye exam, I know that I have had the best one I could possibly have. They have a really nice waiting room set up for us patients with coffee, cookies, little crackers, t.v. and magazines. Thank you everyone for such a good job.

I apparently had a corneal abrasion and my eye was giving me a lot of trouble just hours before a rehearsal dinner and wedding the following day. I was able to get an appointment and with their care I came back in 72 hours later with a healed abrasion! They were wonderful, and Sherri Eakins, OD remedied my situation quickly.
