I used to see Dr Burkhart at this location but while at check in the desk staff and the so called "insurance expert" were extremely rude and embarrassed me in front of a full lobby. They argued with me about my insurance coverage and I had to cancel my appointment. I then called my insurance company from my car and was told exactly what I had told them. I had my insurance company call the office and they told them everything I had said was correct. The office never called to apologize or reschedule my appointment. Because of the rude staff I will not be back to see Dr Burkhart, who by the way is an excellent doctor. The only reason they get 2 stars instead of 1 is because of how awesome Dr Burkhart and her nurses are.

I've been seeing Dr Burkheart for years now. Her staff are always very professional. I have 2 different insurances for 2 totally different things. They've messed up one time and i learned to make two appointments instead of one and separating the charges. Dr Harvey did my cataract surgery and is a delight! The Vision Care glasses place is over priced in my opinion. But will adjust and replace if there's a problem. Very professional. I now pick up my prescription and go elsewhere to get my glasses.

The check in/out process was great! The staff was friendly and willing to discuss my coverage options. My doctor too was amazing! He was efficient, confident in what he was doing, and made me feel comfortable. As for the other side - where you order frames and pick up your perscription I was not very pleased. The two ladies on that side were very vocal about how negative their day had been, and complained about someone calling in with questions. They did not acknowledge me until I went up to their desk. When I did find a frame I went over and was upsold on the lenses. The lady literally did not clarify the costs she was adding on or communicate I had gone over what my provider would cover. She asked for my card and thinking I was paying for my copay I asked and she said yes it will we $25. She prints receipt and it was a staggering $131 out of pocket charge. No communication on the add on costs, and no clarification that I was approaching my amount covered by my provider! I will continue going for to this location for my exams, but will no longer purchase my frames from here.

Everyone at Eye Care of Oklahoma was very friendly and professional. Dr. Harvey took his time in thoroughly checking my eyes. He found some scar tissue on one of my eyes from having a cataract removed several years ago. He removed it with a laser and I couldn't believe how much better I could see! He also suspected glaucoma in my other eye so I will be seeing his again for a glaucoma check. I would highly recommend this facility to my family and friends.

I just left with my daughter from Eye Cate Oklahoma in Moore. She is 10 and this is was her first eye exam. The staff was prompt and very courteous. Towards the end of the visit I was in a time crunch and hey worked quickly to get our appointment wrapped up. I really appreciated that. I will be using Eye Care of Oklahoma for all our eye care needs. Thank you for what you do!

This place is amazing. I brought Mom even though I was the only one to have appt. They worked her in immediately and even performed laser surgery on her right eye!!!! She had scar tissue behind her cataract which caused her partial blindness. They are scheduling her next surgery for her left eye soon. They are contacting her former doctors for past records for us. Absolutely a wonderful place for Eyecare. Truly impressed. They treated her like their own mother. Forever a client!

DONT EVEN WANT 1 STAR...My son is now 19 and does not have vision insurance with his current job, he is almost blind with out glasses. This weekend he lost his glasses in the lake while jumping in to help his little sister. At 19 he has to budget for things like private pay eye doctor visit and he is doing just that but in the time being I emailed Eye care to ask for his prescription due to the loss of his glasses. IT SEEMS THEY RATHER HIM GO WITH OUT GLASSES AT ALL UNTIL HE HAS THE MONEY TO PAY THEM FOR A DR VISIT... we understand his prescription recently expired and he is due for a check up but at this moment he doesn't have that money laying around. so instead of giving him his prescription that recently expired they rather him go with out glasses at all until they get their dr visit money....NONE OF MY FAMILY OR INSURANCE COMP. WILL EVER PAY THIS PLACE ANOTHER PENNY.. REFUSING TO TELL MY SON HIS OWN PRESCRIPTION!!

The doctors are great and very thorough my only complaint is that the billing department is as thorough as the doctors. Even though I was completely maxed on my health insurance they still insisted that I owed co insurance and that I had to pay a percentage. Later it turns out I was right and I didn't owe anything and now I must wait to get my money back from them.

Our father was in the hospital and his glasses 1 broke and we are from out of town so we took pictures of the part we need for his glasses and they were nice enough to not only give us extra parts but also the tool to put the glasses back together. Very help and kind!

I had a retina vein oclusion ( eye stroke ) last year. After surgery at dean mcgee nothing went right, it was a bad experience and was not getting better. My glaucoma pressures in both eyes were sky high. Thankfully I found dr. Harvey. He did surgery on right eye and put in a ahmed glaucoma valve in right eye and did lazor sugery on left eye drainage canal. Both sugerys went well and my eye pressures are once again in normal range. I highly recommend dr harvey, his office staff and his surgery staff to anyone with glaucoma.

I knew I needed to get a new pair of glasses before I even went into my appointment so I picked out the frames I wanted ahead of time while I was waiting and they even gave me a general idea of how much they would cost. Overall I have no complaints and this is definitely my go to eye care place.

My doctor at this practice left to join another practice. I found a glaucoma specialist closer to home so made my next appointment with him. At my first appoint my new Dr. said he needed to see my records and how/if at all, my glaucoma had progressed. I signed the release form and they send it to them June 28th, I was to return in a month. Before my appointment I asked if they had received the records and they said no. I called Eye Care Oklahoma and they said they didn't get the request and that the records would cost 50 cents a page if I wanted to come get them. My new place sent the request again and specifically asked for all my records so my new doctor could continue my care knowing where I started with this process and proceed accordingly. They informed them they only send the last appointment. My new Dr. office calls me and said he really needs all so he can compare and with other doctors that is not a problem but Eye Care Oklahoma apparently has a different policy. I then call again and ask them to get my records together and I will be coming to pick them up when they are ready. They asked if I have signed the release. I said not with you but can't you get them ready and when I come pick them up I will sign the form and pay the 50 cents a page. They said "No, you have to sign the form and then we have 48 hours to get the records together." I'm in Edmond, so I have to make a trip to Moore to sign the form, then a trip back two days later to pick up the records? They said, we can mail or fax it to you. I told them I didn't understand why it needed to be so hard. I said, "you're the only ones who have my records, I need my records by my next appointment, it's not like I can go somewhere else and get them, so you don't think you could go ahead and get them together and I sign the form before I pay and pick up my records? The said, "No, that's not our policy"! What is most evident, they have no concern for the health of my eyes but every concern for their 50 cents a page and their policies! My doctor who left the practice was very good but the place was freezing in the winter and always a wait time.

Really great doctors here that truly know what they're doing. I have been to other ophthalmologist offices and it a long wait even with an appointment then you sit in another room for 30 waiting for the doctor. That was not the case here! They were quick! I wasnt alone more than 5 minutes before a doctor stepped in an he really explain everything well.

I respectfully recommend you don't do business with Eye Care Oklahoma as they do not know how to bill proper insurance or send notifications. Then when you talk to them about it, they lie to you and say they never had your insurance and say they sent you multiple invoices which magically never arrived. I got one in the mail today stating it is the final notice because they already sent two to my Magic mailbox that doesn't get bills apparently. Oh to top it all off, it's too late to bill my insurance and now my insurance won't pay the bill. Now the bill is on me....so please avoid Eye Care Oklahoma...they have two locations. One in Moore and one in OKC on Western. I have been taking my kids there for about 4 years and everything was good up til this. My insurance changed when I got off active duty and their mom has primary insurance. Gave them the information and either it got lost or not used so now I am stuck with a bill of $124. I have no problem coming up with the money but it is the principle that you take a good customer and do them like this. I have taken my business elsewhere.

I have been a customer of ECO for 10+ years. I have had a yearly eye exam and purchased several pairs of glasses and sunglasses from them. Several years ago they assisted me through the Lasik eye surgery process, best decision I ever made! They are a one stop shop, optometrist, ophthalmologist and optical shop. The staff has always been great and very professional. I will continue to be a customer for many years.

I've been using Eye Care Oklahoma for 10 years now. I continue to use them because they have always been professional and friendly. I had a problem once with some glasses I purchased there and they made sure to determine the issue and correct it. My wife had a problem with something in her eye on a weekend and the doctor came in to take care of it. They have taken excellent care of us.

Good experience with dr Wiles and the techs. However, the customer service of the admin staff via telephone is poor at best. No one would answer the phone on Thursday or Friday before Memorial Day. On Tuesday after Memorial Day, after a long time on hold, the person answering the phone told me they had not received results of tests ordered more than a week earlier and that was not in their area of responsibility to find out what happened to them. No help was offered. I asked to talk to the Dr or a tech and was told they were busy. I then asked for a call back. I did get the call back and found that they did have the test results. Bottom line - long wait, inaccurate information, and no offer of help.

I was so disappointed with the quality of care that I received here. I came in for a general eye examination as well as contact lens fitting and I felt like I was herded around like cattle... switching from room to room to make space for more patients. I spent very little time with Dr. Burkhart, who although was very nice, seemed to miss some key indicators for a condition in my eyes (I went into a different optometrist just recently and they found a retinal condition that went undiagnosed. I immediately had to get a corrective retinal procedure... ). This office seems very focused on turning a profit and seeing as many patients as possible, as opposed to being patient focused. I would NOT recommend to anyone I know and I will NOT be returning.

I had a detachment in one eye and was hoping to see any ophthalmologists, but only optometrist was available. The front desk lady intentionally tried to over charge me by telling me my deductible wasn't met, so I should pay in advance the full retail price. Insurance usually negotiate a better price and she knew it. Nice doc, seemed to know what he was doing.

The manager at this store is extremely disrespectful, I will never be back due to the way he treats his employees especially in front of customers. I felt very uncomfortable. Not only that my appointment was rescheduled multiple times and pushed back when i got there due to "running behind" best of luck with your office but you lost my business due to one rude employee and wasting my time.

Dr. Jones was extremely concerned with my eye problem. He and his staff explained all the procedures that I needed to do. They found out a medicine might have caused the problem. The condition has gotten better since the change to a different medicine.

I have chronic Iritis in my eyes, that flare up from time to time, which can cause some permanent damage if not treated quickly. Friday morning I woke up with one of my eyes hurting badly. I just moved here and haven't had a chance to see a dr yet so I started to freak out a little. I called ECO and explained what was happening. They were able to get me in right away! The front desk ladies are so nice and accommodating. The techs and Dr Burkhart are amazing, very thorough, and understanding of my situation. They listened to me and treated me very kindly. They were able to help and get the meds I needed for my eye. Thank you so much for everything! You guys rock!

Dr. Lasater is extremely knowledgable about different issues. I went in because I was fed up with my eye doctor who could not even have an intelligent conversation about my concerns with my eyes. As it turns out Dr Lasater changed my dry eye medication, detected glaucoma and "listens" to me!! I can't say enough about her. She even gave my granddaughter's Our Generation doll an eye exam on one visit!! I've found the right eye doctor for me!!
