You will be able to see all the feddbacks of real people who are using the services and products of Eye Care For Tulsa (Ophthalmologist) near to the state of Oklahoma.
At the present the firm gets a score of 3.6 stars over 5 and this score was based on 32 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is really good, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can say that the score is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are satisfied with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to set reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Ophthalmologist corresponds to the category of Optometrist.
Went to this place for a number of years because I had always gone there. It seemed fine until I asked about the possibility of a rush order on contacts ("rush" meaning a turn around in 1 week... nothing crazy). They weren't interested in even discussing the possibilities with me before seeing the doctor. I obviously didn't want to see the doctor until I was sure I could get the contacts in time since insurance only allows for one visit per year, but they didn't seem to care. When I mentioned I would likely have to go somewhere else if they weren't going to check on contact availability before scheduling an appointment and the woman on the phone said "Okay, have a nice day" and hung up. Needless to say, that all happened this morning and I've already seen another doctor in town and WOW. Such a HUGE difference. DO NOT GO TO EYE CARE FOR TULSA. They do not care about your well being and are simply going through the motions. The rest of my family and friends have already heard that the grass actually IS greener on the other side and are switching as well. I can't explain how grateful I am that this place treated me badly forcing my hand to find someone new and better. Even the new doctor explained things in greater detail and LISTENED more to me than Dr. Stover ever did.
I recently had an eye exam by Dr Cowick. I was very impressed from the time I called to schedule my appointment to the time I left their office. She did an excellent exam, was thorough, kind, efficient and professional. I consider myself a bit of a judge when it comes to healthcare as I myself am a physician. Because of my experience I definitely recommend her services to those looking for an optometrist in the greater Tulsa area. Thank you Dr Cowick for your time and service.
Great place for your vision needs. My favorite is Dr. Wagner. He is the best!
Dr. Wagner is the best! He is professional, knowledgeable and great at educating everything about your eye condition. He goes above and beyond for his patients.
I unfortunately had a very poor experience as a new patient. I was seeing a dark spot in my vision and had done some tests with my optometrist. I wanted to a second opinion from an Ophthalmologist. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful when scheduling and checking in. However, my appointment with the doctor was terrible. On the first day I met with her, I had already been to my optometrist twice and was nervous because we couldn't figure out what was wrong. After just 2 tests and while waiting to complete additional tests, she told me that my issue could range from needing to be hospitalized to having multiple sclerosis. Obviously, both very serious outcomes and something I don't believe should be voiced until the other tests were completed. After doing the same tests as my optometrist, she told me I should get an MRI to look for signs of MS even though I displayed none of the symptoms other than seeing a blind spot. Then she asked to pray with me. I'm a religious person but I found her delivery of the possibilities to be highly unprofessional and inappropriate. She ended the conversation by telling me that she was moving out of state the following week and I would need to talk to another doctor. It has been almost a month since my visit and I have heard from my optometrist twice to check in and absolutely nothing from anyone at Eye Care for Tulsa. I hate to give a one star because the clerical staff was helpful, but I will not be returning as a patient.
Outstanding and Christian Dr
Called them at 4:20 and their recording said they answer their phones till 4:30 and I would have to call back tomorrow. Spoke to their answering service and they verified they turn their phones off early all of the time. Their website says they are open till 5pm. Flip a coin before you call them.
Save yourself some time and misery...DO NOT go to this place. I'm currently waiting for my contact order to come in that was placed a week ago and this office REFUSES to give me a trial pair of lenses to get me by since I have now run out. I was told that only MY doctor, who is only in the office one day a week apparently, can give me a trial pair, even though there are several doctors in this practice. I have never had such poor customer service.
I am very happy with Dr Zeb Brister, surgery on both eye, very caring, Christian doctor. The staff has always been helpful. I would recommend them 100%. I also see Dr. Christy Beartrack, also would recommend her.
Have enjoyed being a patient for many, many years!! Always attentive to my wants and needs.
They clearly weren't interested in having my business. I told her my insurance covers vision and she laughed at me and told me that she doesn't know and can't help unless I'm a current patient. You can laugh all the way to the unemployment line with that nonsense!
Dr. Wagner is an amazing doctor. He is always so caring and attentive. He definitely makes you feel at ease when you are nervous and does everything he can to fix whatever eye problem you may have. Will definitely contact him in future for all my eye care needs.
Children enjoys this clinic, even though it has nothing entertaining for children
Dr. Wagner is an amazing doctor. He always takes his time and explains everything so well. He really cares about his patients and their health. I would recommend him to anyone!
Absolutely horrible customer service. I went in after getting something stuck to my eye with no previous history of eye problems. I paid the bill in full upon leaving and was under the impression that I was done. Now, a YEAR later, I received a call that I have a past due balance and was impliedly threatened with being sent to collections by the receptionist who had a couple notices to the wrong address, followed by 4 months of a "system glitch" which didn't send any notices out. Trish at the front desk should not be responsible for contacting patients. I will be sure that the doctor who referred me knows not to ever refer anyone here again.
Dr. Stover went over & above to make sure contacts were right, including 3 free fitting appts. to make sure I had the right contacts for my astigmatism. Can not say enough good things about him. Staff has always been very friendly.
Truly a "one-stop shop!" 4 Doctors on staff including optometrists and an opthamologist. You can even order glasses and contacts. Friendly and professional staff.
The whole crew at EC4T is pleasant and proficient. After >15 years, I find me and mine totally at home there.
I am very thankful for the Eye Care for Tulsa they have helped me and my family
I've never had such an amazing experience getting an eye exam. They were personable, thorough and spent their time getting the most accurate eye measurements for my glasses and contacts! Will never go to Dr. Z's again.
Attempted to set up a new patient appointment here, called a couple times and left messages and got no response. When I was finally able to get a hold of someone they we're impolite. I decided to take my business elsewhere. I highly recommend LOOK on Brookside. Just down the street from eyecare for Tulsa on brookside but much more customer oriented!
Very poor experience with this place as a new patient. I should have taken all the other poor reviews as an indication of how it would be and went somewhere else, but I thought I would give it a chance--that was dumb.
This is very poor EYECARE FOR TULSA!! I was misdiagnosed twice. Once I had an appointment I have to wait 30 minutes before being seen and then rushed through like cattle. I recently changed eye doctors due to being fed up with this place and found that I have the beginnings of macular degeneration, which is in my family history. I always asked when visiting Dr. Stover but there was no answer or just told NO. I also found that I have astigmatism and can be corrected by contacts, NEVER knew that with Dr. Stover. Poor place to be if you are concerned with your most precious senses that God gave you!!
They got me right in to be seen. Seemed genuinely concerned.
I can't even begin to describe what a frustrating waste of time and money (too much money) going to this eyecare office is. They simply don't care about their patients. The level of incompetency from the top down is frankly insulting. I can't believe they are even in business. Hashtag...thoroughly discusted.
I have been going to Brad Wells and I've been very satisfied with the overall experience at this optometrist. Brad Wells is fantastic and listens to all my concerns. The ladies at the front that handle scheduling have also been super accommodating and pleasant. I have never had a bad experience and highly recommend them.
