Great place for toddler glasses. You have to buy them elsewhere but the doctors are great and the glasses are probably cheaper online than any store would be. Place is setup for toddlers, the doctors have experience with toddlers. Easy appointments for the little ones and you.

In November I suffered from a very painful corneal abrasion. After a late night visit to the ER because my eye was swollen shut and watering like a faucet, I needed an Ophthalmologist fast. Dr. Estrovich was able to promptly fit me in the next day. He was able to locate my abrasion and describe the injury and its healing process to me. I was able to understand what was happening to my eye and that the pain, though uncomfortable, was a normal part of the process. I left the office feeling well informed about my injury and reassured about my recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Estrovich, he is knowledgeable and articulate. I can only imagine that his associates are in the same caliber of excellence as he.

The doctors and staff are to be commended for their empathy. My husband and I were traveling in Italy when all of our luggage was stolen, our eyeglasses and contacts included. We previously purchased our eyeglasses and contacts through Union Eye Care which has closed, unable to retrieve our records. We reached out to Dr. Pophal's office, who worked us in to their schedule that day for eyeglass exams. Dr. Schmid for contact exam and Nikki at the optical center fitted us for new glasses which she is rushing the order as well. In this day and age, it's rare to find such empathy, their kindness really helped us during this difficult time. Dr. Zielinski is a great doctor! My son has been her patient for 3 years and after every appointment I always feel like we made the right choice for a pediatric ophthalmologist. I give 5 stars to Dr. Zielinski and the excellent care our daughter receives and for their staff who are always friendly & courteous but ZERO stars for the "Patient Portal" - it is absolutely TERRIBLE! I have been unable to send an e-mail message to Dr. Zielinski ever since it was changed a few years ago ! I have informed them multiple times about their problematic website and they have told me "you are not the only person to complain about the Patient Portal". So far nothing has been solved. I was there yesterday and was told to call them if I was still unable to send a message. When I was still unable to send an e-mail, I called them. The operator put me on 'hold' for over 10 minutes and I finally hung up. After 2 years of a problem, one would think UOA would hire a better company to manage their website.

I have never been to a medical office where the experience is as pleasant as it is here. The staff takes you back at your appointment time or earlier (!), all the employees are friendly and competent, and you have a sense that the medical team really cares about you and is genuinely interested in your problem. I have already recommended the Ophthalmology group to a co-worker.

Dr. Zielinski is a great doctor and I plan to remain with her for many years to come. She may have resolved a problem that I told to three other health care professionals. None of them did anything to resolve the issue. Two gave me nothing to do. One suggested eye exercises that did no good. She gave me drops which I think are helping.

Our son had an issue with one of his eyes for over a month. Two different doctors misdiagnosed the problem. Then I took him to University Ophthalmology, and Dr. Estrovich was able to understand the issue, he had to perform a minor surgery, and within a few days the eye was back to normal. The doctor was knowledgeable and professional, and the entire staff was kind, helpful, and attentive to my son's needs. I highly recommend University Ophthalmology Associates and Dr. Estrovich in particular.
