I called and within two weeks was scheduled for surgery, and it was a fast recovery so I could get back to my life and work in no time at all. As a college student, I still found it affordable to get done, and it has been one of my best decisions yet. Dr. Stahl and the Vision team really made me feel comfortable with the 'surgery', explaining it step by step and showing videos of what would happen. The day of surgery went very smooth, and it was very easy to get done and felt hardly any discomfort at all! LOVE my new eyes! Everyone needs to go to Stahl Vision!

I had PRK roughly two weeks ago. The office is extremely well-run; I didn't have any unreasonable wait times. Day of the surgery and both follow-ups I've had so far were extremely quick. Surgery itself was great; very quick, no discomfort at all, and nearly immediate results. They laid out a timetable for recovery and what to expect and when to expect it, and they were on point with every part of that. It was a great experience and I am glad I went with Dr. Stahl.

I am very pleased with the outcome of the surgery! Dr. Knowles did an outstanding job, especially during the actual operation. He talked me through the entire operation, in which sped up the procedure. I gave Stahl Vision four stars because of the following: 1. After locking down a date for an evaluation, I was told to fill out my paperwork online. Once I arrived at Stahl Vision, the receptionist told me that their online form system does not pull all of the information correctly. She had to ask me additional questions that I had already answered. 2. Once I was called on and taken to the back, I bounced from person to person during the evaluation. 3. The evaluation team did not have their measurement machines turned on. This happened twice and added an extra 15 to 20 minutes to my appointment. 4. There were several new co-workers training this morning, I assume. The room I was located in was diagonal from another room. At one point, one worker and her trainee walked out of the room diagonal from me and began talking about the older lady in a negative way. I was disappointed to hear workers, especially one that was training a new employee, talking about their patient as if they were a nuisance. 5. Majority of the workers did not introduce themselves. I felt more of a number than a patient. 6. Dr. Knowles would only shake my hand with gloves (after the surgery) - typically gives a fist bump (every other time). Overall, I thought the initial evaluation team was poor. Conversely, the day of surgery pre-operation team was well put together. To this end, I think Stahl Vision did a great job on my eyes!

When I was 3 years old I had ended up getting a piece of bark lodged in my eye which gave me extreme eye anxiety. I was never able to get contacts due to fear of anything being near my eyes, and I had accepted that I would always wear glasses. I soon began to see the cost of having to get examined and buy glasses was going to be a lifelong struggle. I decided to go to Stahl Vision to get a lasik evaluation to see if I was even a candidate. The professionals at Stahl made everything feel very reassuring and Dr. Stahl's bedside manner made everything much easier to handle. I had been told I was a good candidate and so I worked up the courage to get the lasik done. The operation was not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be and it took less than half an hour. I will admit my anxieties caused me to cry like a baby when it was done, but when it was done I could see. Lasik has been one of the best decisions of my life and I'm glad I had the opportunity to go to Dr. Stahl and his wonderful staff, and if anyone reading thinks that this is something they could never do, I urge you to tackle your fear and allow them to help you get your vision back.

They were able to get me in for my free consultation very quick. Office and waiting areas are nice as well as the people. When they tell you 2 hrs for your appointments, believe them. Lasik was very fast and it took more time prepping for it.

The best decision I have made in a long time! Now I don't have to worry about taking contacts in and out each day or about having to wear glasses or prescription contacts. I recently had cataract surgery at Stahl Vision. The whole process was smooth and organized from start to finish! I had lasik 3/3/17 with Dr. Knowles and it was an amazing experience. The staff members are wonderful and make you as comfortable as they can. I was someone who was very reluctant to get lasik. However, I felt I could no longer justify the cost of my very expensive contacts (which I had to wear due to a dry eye condition). I was very nervous going in, and contemplated leaving right before my procedure. However, staff made me very comfortable. and held my hand throughout the whole thing. The Valium also helped. The process was quick and painless. Well worth the investment. My lasik procedure cost the same as three years worth of contacts. Now I have 15 to 20 years of excellent vision. Now that cost effective! I would encourage anyone who has considered getting lasik, to go to Stahl Vision. You will be glad you did.

The staff is wonderful! I just had my surgery today (6/1/17), I had problems with financing with Care Credit (not the office's fault) but the medical staff was so patient with me and helped me sort the problems out and even waited for me, they didn't push my surgery back and take someone before me, which is what I thought would happen. It was fast, I spent more time signing paperwork than in the operating room! 7 mins per eye and most of that time is actually just prepping the eye with eye drops and what not. There was an assistant beside me that held my hand the entire time and Dr. Stahl talked to me through the whole procedure and they explained my after care in great detail. As soon as I sat up I could see things I couldn't see before! I definitely recommend Stahl Vision, they have great staff and a very clean and very well organized and well run office!

Stahl Vision made getting Lasik as easy and painless as possible! I was slightly nervous going into the entire ordeal (initial exam, surgery, post-op, etc.) but the staff at Stahl Vision reassured me every time I went into the office. Each staff member that I came into contact with was extremely nice, helpful, and professional. They constantly asked how I was feeling and if I needed anything else or had any questions. Dr. Stahl was extremely kind and encouraging in the manner in which he spoke and throughout the surgery and post-op appointments. I ended up having an issue with my eye where the flap got wrinkled and pushed into a bad position but the next morning he was able to correct the issue and made sure that I had a followup appointment to watch over the problem. Surgery was technically successful, but wait times, as explained by other reviewers, were outrageous. The long wait times were made worse by the creepy feeling my husband and I had while there- there was just something odd about the elderly male doctor with a large staff made up of 100% young, attractive females with long hair. All of the staff were kind, but we felt very uncomfortable. I left one appointment after an hour wait when my husband could not stay any longer because he had to get the kids to school. I am an executive leader in a male-dominated technical field, so for me to be uncomfortable alone in a place on account of my gender is highly unusual.

Super friendly staff and very accommodating facility... however, for any given appointment, allow two hours. There's a waiting room before you are taken to another waiting room, before you're taken to an exam room to wait for the doctor. The care received is top notch, though!

I recently had Dr. Knowles perform LASIK on both my eyes, and the entire process, from my first contacting Stahl Vision through the operation and post-op checkup, has been incredibly positive. Dr. Knowles is very amiable, genuine, efficient, and professional, and he offers helpful encouragement during the surgery itself. All the assistants and administrative personnel were likewise personable and helpful, providing clear instructions at every stage of the process and not letting what is likely a monotonous or routine procedure at that point (to them) sully what is a weighty and life-changing event to the patient. And, needless to say, it is fantastic to now have vastly superior vision without any corrective lenses. I would gladly recommend Stahl Vision to any friends and family who stand to gain from LASIK.

From the initial appointment to see whether or not i was a candidate for LASIK until today, i had a great experience with Dr. Stahl. My procedure took a total of about 15 minutes for both eyes, and the very next day my vision was 20/20. My vision is even better than perfect today. I’ve continued with Dr. Stahl’s recommendation of taking Flax Seed Oil supplement and using eye drops multiple times throughout the day to keep my eyes from becoming dry. The actual day of surgery, i was in a little bit of pain, but not much. After that, no pain at all, and i can SEE! Thank you, Stahl Vision!

The procedure was done properly and i cannot argue with the results but the casual chitchat about facebook between the two women assistants was extremely distracting and unprofessional as I tried concentrating on looking where i was supposed to while the doctor cut my eye open and burned off a little flesh. Nothing like incessant yapping about Facebook as you smell your eyes burning away. A friend told me his experience was nearly identical but the conversation was about how drunk they got last weekend and Dr. Stahl joined in with them! My vision is excellent but the operating room was very unprofessional.

It is a process of healing and all these eye drops can be confusing but they explain it in a way that makes it easier for you and the follow up paper is easy to follow. So far i am very satisfied with everything and I know i was in the best hands i possibly could be to have this done! I cant wait until i am totally healed and for the first time in 20 years be able to see!!!! HIGHLY Recommend! wouldn't go anywhere else, but the best, Dr. Stahl!

Dr. Stahl and the entire staff was very friendly, professional and nice. I went there after reading good reviews about it online and it turned out to be absolutely worth my time, effort and money. Of course it wasn't an easy decision for me as when eyes are involved, it's natural to be a little apprehensive but the entire procedure LASIK for both my eyes just took 2 hours of my total time and my vision is perfectly normal again! I can't say about anybody else but at least my experience was truly satisfying. And added benefit was that it wasn't even very costly and most likely cheaper than other established vision correction centers.

So glad I got this surgery done! I wouldn't even call it a surgery, so fast and so painless it felt like a normal eye exam. I had my first eye test today since surgery and I was seeing 20/15! I've never been a paitent here, I wanted to be but it's not happening. A month ago I got on their website and clicked the link to have someone call me about a cataract procedure. No response. Last week I got their ad in the mail advertising a discount on cataract procedures and I decided to call this time. I was met with a voicemail menu that never did connect me with a person. Just a beep to leave a message, which I did. No response. I'm sure the Dr.s are very good, but some of the support staff need a lesson in good customer service.

I went and got Lasik done. The staff is all extremely nice and welcoming, frequently checking to make sure are doing ok, especially during the procedure itself. Sometimes the wait in the lobby or in the exam rooms can get a bit long at times, but it is simply because the facility is so superb that it can get a bit crowded. Edit: The first week or two after the surgery can be a bit rough but have some patience....it is well worth it!

I have worn glasses or contacts since I was in 2nd grade and now at age 45 I finally got Lasik by Dr. Stahl. Fear kept me doing it for years but now I am glad I did it. I had a ton of fear and anxiety during the surgery and I won’t lie, it was not fun and a bit disturbing but the doctor and his staff kept reassuring me through the whole process and the results are totally worth it. Four stars because the surgery was a success. I am surprised by the kind words about their service, because this isn't what I saw. Without a doubt, their business model is get you in, get your money, do the surgery, and get you out as fast as possible. This is drive thru surgery with a long line. 30 seconds of surgery explanation, and when Stahl finishes, he books it to another room to do the same and is clearly annoyed when you ask him questions. Because of scheduling, I switched to Dr. Knowles, who is better in that respect, but cancelled a follow up appointment he set to which I took PTO. It was rescheduled, and he cancelled again! He was out of town seeing friends I believe, so why did we make the appointment? They have TONS of assistants whose job is to set up payment plans and answer surgery questions and do eye tests, so the doctors can perform surgeries as fast as they can (25 minutes per surgery). It is quite fascinating and effective. I'm sure they are loaded with cash at the speed they perform. Sad thing they don't know any of their clients nor care. But hey what do I care when the surgery is a success! Also, when you enter their giant full waiting room, they eventually call your name and escort you to another giant full waiting room in the back you can't see! Signs read "The best doctors often have the longest wait times." Sure thing guys!
