Excellent doctor, but he is way too busy. He could use some help. They were 45 minutes behind for my appointment in the new office. They were always on time in the old office. It may be because he is able to do more surgeries in their new location.

Complete incompetence at every level. They do not care if they are inconveniencing you or your family. I was scheduled for surgery last week. I took 7 days off work, that's 7 days of no pay, drove 4 hours round-trip to surgery, with my driver and they cancelled when I arrived. Told me "let's see what we can do to get you taken care of" 5 hours later they said they'd call me and schedule me for Tuesday. The staff (aside from Jessica) is befuddled that I am upset with the outcome. Today they contacted me and gave me surgery dates for Apri. What a joke.

I met Dr. Pate for the first time, today, 6-18-19. I found him to be just what I look for in someone who is overseeing the health of my eyesight. Dr. Pate has good energy, is knowledgeable, confident and has very good communication skills. As the patient...he gave me a confident and strong sense of direction regarding the prognosis of my vision; and he gave me guidance and insight as to when I might consider a future procedure. Dr. Pate also highly recommended an eye MD to go to when I decided to get a lazer procedure done. I found everyone at this clinic to be pleasant, helpful and dedicated to the patients they served! They called us as we were pulling into the office after driving 1 hour to inform us that the doctor was not there and they would have to reschedule. We asked if another doctor would be available they stated not until the following week. I just find it very unprofessional to schedule an appointment for a post-op patient and then cancel at the very last minute. No care about personal time, travel or the inconvenience of taking yet another day of work off to come see another doctor. I personally would not run a business this way. Especially when 4 doctors apparently work there and not one could be seen at the appointment scheduled 9 days prior.
